Racks
It is the first Saturday of May. Planned to leave the condo around 8:30 AM to 9 AM. The confession at the Sto. NiƱo de Paz Greenbelt Chapel starts at 8 AM. Left around 9:30 AM.
I was the second in the queue. The confessor is Fr. Jobine. I think he is the priest who blessed my niece's condo unit.
I have enough time to do the 30 minute meditation on The Visitation, prayed the Precious Blood Chaplet devotion before the Saturday Mass. Joined the community in praying The Rosary.
While waiting for the Mass to start, I saw a butterfly perched on the altar. After I took its picture, it flew to the ceiling. It never left during the Mass.

The Mass presider is Fr. Paolo.
Easter does not erase suffering or pain. Instead, it grants us the gift of a new vision, new eyes, new all--that all will be well.
No chain can shackle, no prison to jail, no tomb can bury God's love.
The feast of the two apostles being celebrated is St. Philip and St. James (the lower or the younger).
Philip witnessed through Nathanael. More than seeking God, God sought us first.
There is nothing special about James the younger; but, Jesus chose him. We may be small in the eyes of men; but, we are important in the eyes of God.
Fr. Paolo gave the following challenges:
- Grace of clarity. Contentment is the greatest wealth.
- Grace of correctness of vision..
- Grace of charity. Love is blind. Those in love see beyond, despite and inspite of.
After the Mass, went to Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark. It is one of the Jubilee churches. Hoping for the grace to gain plenary indulgence and I offer it to Ate Marisel, who recently departed.
Passed by Anson's to check for a "small" washing machine. Will check different appliance store later for one that would "fit".
And for my taste test, it would be Racks at Glorietta 2. Wanted to try their Wagyu Salpicao but it is not available. What is wrong with the Wagyu salpicao? The restaurant I tried last week also does not have it. So opted for their Best Rib and Chicken Set (PhP 475.00). It already comes with rice, salad, iced tea, and side dish of your choosing.

The chicken is quite good, with or without the gravy. The rib is soft but the barbecue sauce is a must. I enjoyed this meal compared to last week's.
Next, I went to Abenson, Automatic Center, and SM Appliance to check for the washing machine being sold in their stores. I will go back to Anson's later after the anticipated Mass.
Of course, I will not miss my Frappuccino fix at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf where I started this blog.
The Mass presider of the anticipated Mass is Fr. Andy.
The life of the disciples in the Gospel is just like us. They pinned their dreams on Jesus, which was shattered as they witnessed the crucifixion. The disciples went back to where they were before (back to fishing).
Jesus standing on the shore shows that He did not leave them. God never abandons us inpite of our mistakes.
On our own effort, we cannot accomplish anything. But with God, we can do anything.
What is important is for us to recognize His presence and follow His instructions. When we surrender our lives to God, miracles happen.
Everyday, God is inviting us for a communion with Him. Our communion with God should be translated on how we live for others.
The success of our Christianity is when people glorify God because of their experience with us.
After the Mass, went to Anson's at The Landmark to buy the
Sharp 5.5kg washing machine. Left Edgar to bring the item to the car after paying for it.
Went to Peri-Peri Chicken to buy food to-go before proceeding home.
N.B. I thought Lyn would be happy with the washing machine. She says it's too big. Aside that it would use a lot of water. It looks small in the picture I forwarded to her via Viber. Decided to buy the
Union 2kg mini-washer in Lazada. Will give the Sharp washing machine to Edgar, the driver, instead. Christmas in May. LOL
