Procession

Will join the procession arranged by Our Lady of Sorrows Parish that would start at 3 AM.  We left the condo around 2:30 AM.  With me is Lyn, Theo (the dog), Edgar (the driver), and Luis (Edgar's youngest son).

We parked at McDonald's, which is right next to the church.  We will have our breakfast there after the procession and the Mass.  Theo will be with Edgar, waiting for us.

Chose the float using a bicycle that we would follow so that we won't be inhaling gas fumes.  With my Marshall Willen speaker, I played the Glorious mystery and prayed along with it.  The rest of the walk, played the Rosary in Latin.

When near the church, walked ahead of the procession to get a seat for the Mass.

The Mass should have been at 4 AM.  Since the procession arrived late at the church, the Mass was at 5 AM.

After the Mass, we had breakfast at McDonald's.  We also bought food-to-go.

Home.

Prophylaxis

I had a 10 AM appointment with my lady dentist today.  I was late for ten minutes.  The procedure took less than hour.  Will have to take special attention to my upper tooth second to the right.

Since I am already out, proceeded to Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.  On the way, finished my morning prayers.  Joined the community to pray the Rosary and the Angelus.  While waiting for the start of the Mass, prayed the Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet.

The Mass presider is Fr. Hans.

Mama Mary gave the rosary to St. Dominic.

The rosary is not because of Mary and not for Mary. It is for us to be closer and closer to Jesus. To obey, to follow, to imitate the life of Jesus.

Lesson: obedience.

Just like Mary, we should not only ask the will of God but also to submit ourselves to the ways of God.

After the Mass, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  Then, ate at the food court of said department store.  Bought eye drops at Mercury Drug.  And yoghurt for dessert at llaollao.

Whiled my time at Glorietta while waiting for the start of the anticipated Mass.

Fr. Benny is the (anticipated) Mass presider.

As far as God is concerned, He wants all of us to be saved.

In the parable there is a guest not dressed in a wedding garment. The wedding garment reflects the worthiness to be in God’s Kingdom.

Even though God wants us to be with Him or for us to want to be with Him, we must be worthy.

Per St Paul, it is not about abundance or need but having the relationship with God.

My Birthday

I left around 10:30 AM to attend the noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

On the way, finished my morning prayers.  Joined the community to pray the Rosary, the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer, and the Angelus.  While waiting for the Mass, prayed the Precious Blood of Jesus Chaplet.

The Mass presider is Fr. Everett.

Fr. Everett started by sharing his actual experience of a person who was possessed.

Evil is real.  Sometimes it comes to us in the most subtle way.  Evil is everywhere even inside the Church.

All of us have struggles against the devil.  How do we combat it?  Prayer.

After, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

When done, I sent a message to my niece.  We will be having (my birthday) lunch at Italliani's at Greenbelt 5.  My niece treated me for this lunch.  😉

Before leaving Greenbelt 5, my niece was thinking of buying a Chanel EDP or Chanel body wash and lotion as a gift to her friend who will be having a wedding within the month.

For dessert, we had yoghurt at llaollao at Glorietta.

Went home.  Will leave again around 4:30 PM to go to Emerald Garden Restaurant to buy our food for dinner.

After buying the food, I picked-up the food left at the reception of our condo which is a gift by my cousin.  My other niece's gift of cake has been delivered earlier.

First Saturday of October 2026

Grocery day.

Left around 9 AM with my Omega Speedmaster 38 mm on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right.

Parking is a breeze and so is buying groceries at The Landmark Supermarket.  Finished my morning prayers on the way to the supermarket.

After paying, left the groceries to Edgar, the driver, to bring our purchases home.

I walked my way to Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel for my first Saturday devotion.

When I arrived, I was seventh or eighth in the queue for the confession.  While in queue, prayed the Act of Reparation for the first Fridays of the month, and a 15-minute meditation of The Nativity.  Joined the community to pray the Rosary.

The noon Mass presider is Fr. Ruben.

In everything you do give glory to God.

The greatest blessing is not what we accomplished for God but that we belong to God.

We measure our greatness by our accomplishments. Our greatest treasure not what we do for God but what God has done for us.

Job did not need an explanation for his sufferings. But instead he found God.

Faith gives the presence of God in the midst of what we do not understand.

To know God is to allow His works to transform us.

After, visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

For lunch, ate at Chili's at One Ayala.

Strolled around the mall and proceeded to go back to Greeenbelt Chapel around 3 PM.

Joined the community to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and the Rosary.

The anticipated Mass presider is Fr. Vinz.

https://www.youtube.com/live/n1FmkHqz0k0?si=j7i7NfLvM4dz6SYm&t=3452

In the parable of the tenants of the vineyard, the father is God, the tenants is Israel, the servants are the prophets of old, and the son is Jesus.

In times past, God spoke through the prophets, then He has spoken us through His Son.  But His Son, we killed Him.

Here is a God who suffered and died for us but we don't love Him back.  Ungrateful.  The cause of His death is His love for us.

Because no amount of human hate can overpower God's love and plan to save us.

How to be a grateful tenant:

  1. Remember.  Remember that you are a steward and not the owner.
  2. Return.  Make a proper return--be fruitful, be transformed.
  3. Revere.  Respect the owner and the owner's son.

If you make a proper return to Me, you will receive peace.  We see the peace of God woven in every single return in every sacrament of our faith:

  • "Welcome into the family of peace." -- Baptism
  • "May the Lord grant you pardon and peace." -- Confession
  • "Let us offer each other the sign of peace." -- Eucharist
  • "I will now give you the keys of peace." -- Ordination
  • "Keep as one in peace." -- Matrimony
  • "Be assured of God's peace. -- Anointing of the sick
  • "Receive the gift of peace." -- Confirmation
  • "Rest in peace." -- Death

Don't be ungrateful.  Be grateful tenants in my vineyard.  Remember that you are a steward. Return so as to have peace.  And revere my Son who did it all, who risked it all, just because I love you.  And just because God cares for you.

"If you can withstand the hate of this world and you still choose to love, that is perfect joy." -- St. Francis of Assisi

Be grateful, be at peace, because you deserve perfect joy.

After the Mass, I wanted to buy Carmen's Best low fat milk.  It was not available at The Landmark supermarket.  Went to SM Makati where I was able to get one.  Also, I bought Tiger Sugar milk tea before proceeding home.

Niece's Birthday

I left the condo around 10 AM with my Tudor Black Bay 54 on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right to attend the 12 noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

Finished my morning prayers, the Precious Blood of Jesus Chaplet.  Joined the community to pray the Rosary, the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer, and the Angelus.

The Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

Today is the Memorial of the Guardian Angels.

The Lord has assigned an angel to you to guard you in all your ways.  Angels are God's representatives, messengers.

Names what "el" at the end means "of God".

God is present in His guardian angels.

After the Mass, visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

Bought a cake at Hearts and Bells Bakery for my niece.  Also bought a half loaf raisin bread at Baguio Country Club.

We would be eating at Yakiniku Like.

After, went to Greenwich Pizza for food-to go and llaollao for dessert.

Dropped off my niece at her condo on our way home.

Anticipated Mass

Left a bit late to attend the 4:30 PM anticipated Mass at the Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.  I know I wouldn't be able to join the community to pray the Rosary.  I also know I would not be able to seat at my favorite seat of the chapel.  Next time, I should be sure to leave on my usual time.

When I arrived, the community is already praying the Hail, Holy Queen portion of the Rosary.

The anticipated Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

In last week's Gospel, those who repent at any time will receive God's mercy.

"Is My ways unfair or is it your ways?"  When you are good who turned bad, why blame God?  Instead, go back and repent.

Though not mentioned, the third son in the parable is the one who said "yes" and followed the will of the Father, which is Jesus.

While the Mass is ongoing, I saw a senior lady being hugged by another female.  The senior lady seems not to move, while the other lady looks like she is crying.  Eventually, a Rescue arrived.  Hope she is OK.

After, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

And for food-to-go, I went to Kaya at Glorietta.  Since preparing the food would take some time, left and will pick it up.

Went to SM Makati to remind them about the certificate of the diamond earrings I bought there.

Back to Kaya, picked-up the food and left it to Edgar, the driver.

Went to Tiger Sugar for milk tea to-go.

Home.

Ordered Earrings

Left around 11 AM to attend the Friday noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

Good thing, although I am not late to join the community to pray the Rosary.  I was able to join the community to pray the Rosary, the Sacred Heart of Jesus chaplet, and the Angelus.

The Mass presider is Fr. Fredrick.

We can only know a person through relationships, time and shared experiences.

Jesus:  Who am I to you?

Knowing about Jesus is different from knowing Jesus personally.

The question to ask, who is Jesus to me?

After the Mass, visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

Earlier, I asked the staff of Sep Vergara Fine Jewelry at One Ayala to send the earrings I am interested in which I saw from their website.  It was available in their Pampanga branch.  They have it sent to their Makati branch. Tried it and bought it.  LOL

Sep Vergara diamond earrings

For lunch, went to Moshi Gran Cafe.

My niece is done with their business and called me.  Told her to meet me at The Landmark's Mercury Drug.

While waiting for Edgar, the driver, to pick us up, saw new restaurants which opened at Glorietta.  Checked with my niece the Mala Malatang.  She explained to me that it is a hotpot and known for its rich tomato hot base.  She said that next time, we will eat there.

I told her that there is another one which opened at Glorietta 4 and always has a long queue whenever I pass by.  When we went to Jack In The Donuts, there was no queue.  Bought three donuts, two for me and one for my niece.  LOL

Dropped my niece at her condo before proceeding home.

Chill

Grocery day.

Left late for doing groceries at The Landmark supermarket.  Was completed around 12 noon.  Left Edgar, the driver, to bring home our purchases.

For lunch, I wanted to eat at Yakiniku Like! but there are still a lot of people waiting to be seated.  Thus, my legs brought me to Chili's at One Ayala.

After lunch, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

With my Samsung Galaxy Tab A11, pocket WiFi, and Shokz OpenDots 2, walked around the mall listening (watching?) YouTube.  LOL

When it is about time to go to Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel, walked my way there.  I was able to join the community to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the Rosary, and Padre Pio Novena.

Fr. Benny is the presider of the anticipated Mass.

The Gospel is a controversial parable.  It is "unfair" of the landowner.  The parable is more than about wages.

Plan of salvation:  Salvation will starts with Israelites.  Gentiles to follow.  Jesus came not only for the Israelites but for all.  Everyone will be treated equally in the end.

Gentile or Jew.  Servant or free.  Women or men.  No more.

Moral context:  As long as you repent in your lifetime, anytime, you will receive God's forgiveness and the fullness of salvation.

Theme:  God's generosity.  He is just but He transcends His generosity.

After the Mass, bought milk tea (Tiger Sugar) to-go.

Home.

Gift

Left around 10:30 AM for the Friday noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

On the way, I finished my morning prayers.

Joined the community to pray the Rosary, the Padre Pio novena, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer.

The Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

In the First Reading, St. Paul's familiar teaching is the very reason we are Christians because we believe in the resurrection of the dead.  If Christ did not rise from the dead, our faith is in vain.

During St. Paul's time, there are people manipulating the faith for personal interests.  Which is the same today.

We should aspire for the God of grace, not only for the grace of God.  The ultimate grace that we need is to attain eternal life.

"It is not why you came but why you stayed."  It is not how you became a Christian but why you are staying now as a Christian.  We stay because we believe in life after death.

After, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  For lunch, it is at Tenya.

Items on my list:

  • Non-slip bath mat (at The Landmark)
  • Beachwalk slipper (at SM Makati)
  • Baptism gift of earrings (was initially looking for gold earrings but it is way beyond my budget; opted for the moissanite in hypoallergenic 925 sterling silver stud earrings)
  • Ruler (at National Bookstore)
Of course, I also bought a moissanite in 925 sterling silver earrings for me.  LOL

Anticipated Mass

Left the condo around 3 PM to attend the anticipated Mass at Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

Finished my morning prayers on the way.  Prayed the Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet, and joined the community to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet and the Rosary.

Fr. John Paul is the presider of the anticipated Mass.

The Readings invite us to forgive.  Allows us to imitate Jesus.

The gates of forgiveness are always open to those who turn away from sin.

After the Mass, visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  For our food-to-go, went to Peri-Peri at Glorietta.  Also bought milk tea at Tiger Sugar.

Mama Mary's Birthday

Today is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  I will be attending the noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

On the way, I finished my morning prayers.  I was able to join the community to pray the Rosary.

The Mass presider is Fr. Karl.

We look to Mama Mary as our mother.

Meaning of her birth:

  • Birth has meaning only because we have a mission to play in this world.  Our life is not an accident.  Our life existence is willed by God.  The meaning of Mary's life is upon her saying her "yes", her fiat.  She cooperated with the loving plan of God.
  • It is the feast of her nativity; but, what we hear is the birth of her Son.  If we go to Mary, she leads us to her Son.
  • To honor Mary.  She is special because she is the mother of Jesus, she is our mother.

After the Mass, they were giving away free snacks.  This is to celebrate Mama Mary's birthday.

Then, I visited the Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

And for lunch, ate at Yakiniku Like! at Glorietta.

A few steps, bought a half loaf of raisin bread at the Baguio Country Club.

Proceeded to my suki to put tempered glass and buy a case for my Samsung Tab A11.

Finally, I went to Uniqlo at SM Makati to buy a green top.  There is color theme so that we can identify who are members of the Punto Por Punto Supporters who would be at SMX on Thursday.  Bought a green top.

Passed by Mossanti to check for a dangling earrings.  Did not find which I liked.

First Saturday of September 2026

Grocery day.

I would have to leave early as I have my first Saturday devotion after completing my groceries.  Left around 8:30 AM with my favorite Omega Speedmaster 38 mm on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right.

Since we were early, it is easy to get a parking slot.  Doing the groceries is also a breeze.  After paying, left Edgar, the driver, to bring home our purchase.

Walked to the side of the building (the department store is still closed thus cannot use its connection to the bridgeway) on my way to the Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

I was the second in the queue for the Confession.  Upon arriving, prayed the Act of Reparation for the first Saturdays of the month, then proceeded to the queue.

After, did the 15-minute meditation of The Visitation, finished my morning prayers and my Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet, and joined the community to pray the Rosary.

The Mass presider is Fr. Lawrence.

"The Lord is just in all His ways…"  Just but kind; with laws but merciful.

The Apostles picked up grains for they are hungry.  For the Pharisees, the issue is not about theft but because they did it on a Sabbath.  For the Jews, it is allowed to pick up grains of others if you are hungry.

Sabbath is given by God as a gift, a time of rest, a day to come closer to God.

Sometimes we are focused on doing things correctly, forgetting the person in front of us. But where is the love?

See the person.  Before judging, see the person.  Before correcting, see the person.  Before saying "this is the rule", see the person.  Sometimes the holiest thing we can do is not simply following the rule but to love the person.

Don't just know His law, know His heart.

After the Mass, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  Then, I proceeded to the department store's food center for lunch.  It would be a quick meal because I still have a lot of tasks to do.

Went to Healthy Options to buy, this time, 1000 UI of Vitamin D3.  Inquired what to do with the incorrect purchase I made of buying 5000 UI of Vitamin D3.  I was advised as long as it is unopened and I have the sales receipt, I can have it replaced within 14 days from purchase.  I said I will bring it tomorrow.

Decided to buy an Aquaflask tumbler and have Tilak's name embossed on it.  It would be a welcome gift (he is in Manila for one month only and would be returning to the US again).  We would be meeting-up with him tomorrow.

I am used to wearing stud earrings.  I wanted to try hoop earrings.  Went to F&C Jewelry at Glorietta.  I was not able to find what I liked.  Went to their branch at SM Makati.  Found one and it is beautiful!  Although, it is not the hoop earrings I was thinking of (something that dangles a little).  Per surfing, it is recommended for senior ladies for a 25mm to 30mm diameter hoop earrings.  Anyway, I still bought it.  LOL

F&C Jewelry Real Diamonds Hoop Earrings

Walked back to Greenbelt Chapel for the anticipated Mass.  The prayers before Mass started when I arrived.

The Mass presider is Fr. Richard.

The Mass is for the care of creation.  Safeguard the care of nature and the poor.

Asked Edgar, the driver, to proceed to Pet Express for Theo's, the dog, food.  Paid the items upon arriving there.

First Friday of September 2026

Would have left around 10 AM but documents that I need to sign and provide additional requirements have to be provided.  Left late with my Tudor Black Bay 54 on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right.

Upon arriving at the Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel, the community is already praying the rosary.  Thus, finished my morning prayers instead.  I was able to join the community to pray the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer.

The Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

"Can the guests fast when the bridegroom is with them?" Jesus is the groom. The Church is the bride. With the Jews, the people is waiting for the groom, not the bride.

But the days will come and the groom will be taken away from them and people will fast.

Jesus came in order to renew the laws. Then, the law is too legalistic (Pharisees), losing the spirit of the law.  Compassion and empathy is forgotten.

After the Mass, I have my religious items blessed.  Then, visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

For lunch, ate at Tenya.  When I finished eating, my niece called.

We went to Healthy Options for me to buy Vitamin D3.  (Oops.. wrong dosage).  We then went to SM Makati where my niece traeted me with a Frappuccino from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Anticipated Mass

A rainy day.

Left around 3 PM to attend the anticipated Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

I was able to join the community to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary.

The anticipated Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

Jesus said that He will suffer and be killed. Peter said to Jesus that it will not happen. Jesus said, "Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking as man does. "

Satan is using Peter for Jesus not to fulfill His mission.

Jews believe that the Messiah will come for earthly ways.   It is not earthly life but the next life, the salvation.

"Take care of your body as if you will life forever. Take care of your soul as if you will die tomorrow. " -- St. Augustine.

After the Mass, visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

Ordered food-to-go at Kaya at Glorietta,  While the food is being packed, went to Dairy Queen at One Ayala.  Returned to Kaya to pick up my food.

Home.

Air-Con Cleaning

Have scheduled the cleaning service of my air-conditioner.  The technicians arrived on the dot.

I was late on leaving the condo to attend the Friday Mass.  Thus, I was unable to join the community to pray the Rosary.  On the way, I completed the Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet.

Fr. Marthy is the Mass presider at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.

Today is the Memorial of St. Augustine.  St. Augustine's early life indulged in worldly affairs. His mother, St. Monica, prayed for his conversion.

Our hearts are restless until our hearts rest in You.

Most of our desires that our earthly somehow leads us to sin.

Where can  we truly find peace?

Growth takes effort. Do you also strive to take care of your soul? Do you also strive to take care of the spiritual gift God has given you? Do you keep your lamps burning?

"Lord, grant me the grace that my last act on earth be an act of love for You."

After the Mass, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  And for lunch, ate at Phobac.

Since I am not happy with the kid's tablet I bought via Lazada, I decided to buy one.  Bought a Samsung Tab A11 at Abenson.  Immediately went to a stall for the tempered glass and tablet case.

Went to BPI to withdraw.  Bought medicines at Mercury Drug at The Landmark.

I recalled that I should be making a reservation for dinner with Tilak.  Thus, went to Tong Yang at One Ayala to make  the reservation.

Before proceeding home, I stopped at hearts & bells bakery to try one of their cakes.  This is a newly opened bakery at Glorietta.

Interment

I would be attending the interment of my Aunt at Manila Memorial Park.  The Mass is at 9 AM Funeraria Paz.

I left the condominium around 7:45 AM.  Picked-up my ex-sister in law at Moonwalk Subdivision as she wanted to attend the interment and give her condolences.  We arrived around 8:45 AM,  few minutes before the start of the Mass.

After the interment, I dropped off my ex-sister in law.  Then, proceeded to Glorietta.  Edgar, driver, will return after driving my niece for her check-up.

For lunch, ate at Yakiniku Like in Glorietta,.  Checked the stores Digital Walker and Flying Tiger Copenhagen.  Visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

While waiting for Edgar, window-shopped at Muji and Anko.  Saw two items I am interested at Anko, bought the toy one. 😄

Wake

Grocery day.

Lately, I have been sleeping late and waking up late.  And today is no excuse.  Instead of leaving the condo with my favorite Omega Speedmaster 38mm on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right around 9 AM or 10 AM, left almost noon.  On the way, finished my morning prayers.

Went to The Landmark Supermarket for the grocery.  After paying for our purchases, left Edgar, the driver, to bring home our purchases.

Went to Chili's at One Ayala for lunch.  Ordered my usual.  Visited the pop-up stores at Glorietta Activity Centers.  Visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

Proceeded to Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel for the anticipated Mass.  Prayed the Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet and joined the community to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary.

The anticipated Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

Jesus was interested in how He is being known by the people. Most thinks He is a prophet. But Simon (Peter) said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God."  This truth was revealed to him by God the Father.

Christ = the Chosen One; the Annointed.

First time the Church is being mentioned in the Scriptures.

His mission will be continued through the Church, as witnessed by the apostles, disciples.

The Church is a community of believers, a community of baptized people.

The foundation of the Church comes from Jesus.

Satan attacks the Church, using people as his pawns. But the Church cannot be destroyed,

After the Mass, I would meet up with my niece as we would be going to the wake of my Aunt at Funeraria Paz in Manila Memorial Park at Sucat.

Passed again at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center to check the "bubble" Native Union pop-up phone.  It is not available.  My niece treated me with coffee at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at SM Makati before proceeding to the funeral parlor.

When we arrived, the Mass is already ongoing.  The presiding priest has a good singing voice.  Hehehe!

Stayed there for some time.  Around 10 PM, decided to leave.

Passed by Max's for our very late dinner before proceeding home.

Tenya Tempura Tendon

I would be attending the Friday noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.  Left with Tudor Black Bay 54 on my left wrist and Apple watch on my right.

On the way finished my morning prayers.  Prayed the Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet, and joined the community to pray Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer and the Rosary.

The Mass presider is Fr. Dave.

Without Christ, we are like dried bones, dead, with no hope

Love is embracing the Ten Commandments.

Two problems:

  • We failed to know what is necessary.
  • We failed to practice it.

Dichotomy:  Our faith and our actions.

To do: Memorize the Ten Commandments

After the Mass, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  For lunch, went to Tenya Tempura Tendon.

As soon as I stepped out of Tenya, I saw Baguio Country Club.  Previously, the stall of Aquaflash is there any Baguio Country Club is near the Glorietta Activity Center.  Bought banana bread.  Bought medicines at Mercury Drug at The Link.

Returned again to Mary, Mother of Hope chapel's office to buy a Mass card.  The office's break is 1PM to 2:30PM.

Proceeded to Glorietta Activity Center where me and my niece met up.  We proceeded to SM Makati where my niece treated me at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

On the way home, dropped my niece at her condo.

Memorial of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Again, left late to attend the anticipated Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.  Left with my favorite Omega Speedmaster 38 mm on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right.

On the way, finished my morning prayers.

I am really late because as soon as I arrive, the community is already praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet.  Left the bangle with the Benedictine Medal at the table where the priest will bless them after the Mass.  Joined the community to pray the Rosary.

While waiting for the anticipated Mass, what was projected on the screen is the Memorial of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Thus, asked one of the ushers if the Mass I am attending is also the anticipated Mass.  She concurred.

And Fr. Benny, the anticipated Mass presider, announced at the start of the Mass that the attending the today's Mass already met the obligation to attend Sunday Mass.

Dogma is the faith we believe.  The Assumption is one of the Marian dogmas.  Before a belief becomes a dogma, the people are asked.

The Feast we celebrate about Mary it is not just about her. We don’t stop with Mary. Any title of Mary leads us to the Lord or because of the Lord. She is the intercessor.

Why the Assumption? Iniakyat katawan at kaluluwa.

Mary, after completing her life on earth, she was assumed into heaven body and soul.

Mary is because Jesus is.

If we imitate what Mary did, we, too, can go to heaven.

After the Mass, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  Went to Healthy Options at Glorietta to buy Calcium Citrate.  And for food-to-go at Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken & Sauce Bar and Crisha's Kitchen.

Home.

Phobac

I would be attending the Friday noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel.  Left late with my Tudor Black Bay 54 on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right.

On the way, I finished my morning prayers.  As soon as I arrived at the chapel, the Rosary started.  Thus, instead of joining the community to pray the Rosary, prayed the Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet.  Also prayed two decades of St. Gertrude chaplet.  Joined the community to pray the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer.

The Mass presider is Fr. Marthy.

Sin destroys. Only love creates.

For a simple person, punishment is what deserves. But in His love, God gives us mercy.

Sin destroy relationships. Sin separates us from the Lord.

When we come to Mass, we seek the Lord who renews us from sin.

Do not waste time indulging in sin. Sin destroys but love creates.

Everyday God gives us another chance, another day to experience God’s presence.

After the Mass, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.

Passed by BPI to withdraw and Phobac for lunch.  Proceeded to Healthy Options but needed the prescription to avail of the Senior Citizen discount.  Will return tomorrow.

While waiting for Edgar, the driver, to pick me up, browsed the pop-up stores at Glorietta 2 Activity Center.  I was able to buy a bangle with Benedictine Medal.
