Marugame Udon & Tempura
I would be attending the Friday noon Mass at Greenbelt Chapel. Left around 10AM with my favorite Omega Speedmaster 38 mm on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right. Still wearing my Tabi shoes.
I was dropped off at Greenbelt Chapel. I was able to finish my morning prayers, started the Precious Blood of Jesus Chaplet, and joined the community to pray the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer and the Rosary.
The Mass presider is Fr. Ryan.
What is the single thing to live a good life? Love God and love your neighbor. These two are not separate things. They are related and inseparable. It gives a compass or direction to our existence.
Look at the cross.
Vertical beam--Loving God by giving the best of our time. Allotting time for Him not just an afterthought.
Horizontal beam--God is present in every person. He hides in the poor, vulnerable and the forgotten. You cannot say you love the artist but criticize his art works. Everyone is created in the image and likeness of God.
After the Mass ended, some people still remained. It is because of the relic of St. Charbel will visit the chapel that day. Since I am hungry and I still have a lot of things to buy, I decided to leave and be back later.
Visited the Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark. Also in the same department store, I bought a small wallet which can fit the small bag I will be using for the wedding, and bought makeup remover. Proceeded to Healthy Options to buy calcium citrate. They now have a new policy for senior citizen discount--it will only apply for small bottles (good for one month use).
I was planning to eat at Karayama at One Ayala. Checking on the menu, did not see tempura. Good thing the Marugame Udon & Tempura is near. I haven't eaten here yet. It seems the Udon is popular in this restaurant; but, I don't feel like eating one Chose the tempura. It is not something that I would go to again but the staff is (silently) very helpful. He is very observant and listens to questions even if not directed to him. Then he gives it.
For dessert, went to Red Mango where I ate the ice cream at Food Choices.
I also decided to give a Muji fountain pen as a gift to my nephew. Went to Muji to buy one plus ink cartridges.
I walked my way back to Greenbelt Chapel. But there are a lot of people and the queue is long. Besides, I need to go to the restroom. Thus, left the line and did my business.
There are pop-up stores at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center where I bought lanyard for cellphones. I will reuse it as lanyard for my kid cameras.
Home.
