Sintaro's Interment

Today is Sintaro's interment.  We would leave the Veronica Memorial Chapel around 2:30 PM.  We were supposed to be at the Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish Church by 3 PM for the funeral blessing.

Last night, informed Manong about Sintaro's burial.  He was already there before we arrived the funeral parlor.

As scheduled, left at 2:30 PM to the church.  Following the hearse is my Toyota Avanza (where I am riding with Manong, Lyn, Luis and Theo, the dog, driven by Edgar), and two tricycles with the Zamora boys.  It took only 5 or 10 minutes to get to the church.  Thus, we waited for several minutes for the priest who would do the blessing.

At Sgt. Mariano Cemetery, we prayed for Sintaro's soul before his casket was placed in the tomb.

The interment has been smooth.

My list has been smooth:

  • Schedule and have the tomb prepared by Sgt. Mariano Cemetery ✔
  • Schedule the transfer from the funeral parlor (pass by the church) to the cemetery by Veronica Memorial Chapel ✔
  • Prepare the death certificate and burial permit by Veronica Memorial Chapel ✔
  • Schedule the funeral blessing by Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish Church ✔
  • Jollibee hamburger as food during the interment ✔
  • Zest-O juice drink as drink during the interment ✔
  • Flower to be placed on top of the casket ✔
  • Searched and printed the prayer during the burial at the grave that can be led by a laity ✔
  • Microphone (so everyone who joined the burial can hear the priest as well as the leader of the prayer) ✔
  • Holy water to bless the casket and grave at the cemetery ✔

After the burial, we parted ways.

First, dropped off Lyn and Theo, the dog, at the condo.

We then went to The Aristocrat to eat.
