The Cabin
My weekend movie is The Cabin in the Woods, from the same director of The Avengers. Oh! Even The Avenger's Thor is in the movie.Five friends going on a trip to stay in the cabin owned by the cousin of one of them. Hoping for a fun time, they get more than they bargain for. A horror movie with a twist--combining both science and the paranormal.
Using the standard horror details like having a whore, an athlete, a scholar, a fool and a virgin in the equation, digging into the reasons for all what's happening. But for the ending...? I find the characters' decision selfish. Hehehe!
After, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at The Super Bowl of China. One of our orders is pork siomai. The meat is old. #ThumbsDown.
