American Sniper Mortdecai

(Writing this while waiting for the start of my first movie.)

Because I reported for work last January 19, a holiday due to the Papal visit, took my offset today. Will be bringing my Olympus OMD EM-1 at Red Dot Philippines to have it repaired--the "catch" where the camera strap is connected to was disengaged from the body.  The service center is open only on weekdays from 10AM to 3PM.  Red Dot Philippines services several brands like Polaroid, HP, Coby.

Thanks to Waze, was able to find the office.  Was third in the queue.  Will be able to pick-up my camera within 20 working days.

After, was dropped off at Glorietta.  Would be having a movie marathon.  Bought discounted movie tickets for "Mortdecai" and "American Sniper".

But first, lunch of Spinach and Feta Cheese Ravioli at Bistro Ravioli.  Did some window-shopping. Was looking for a water bottle (not plastic) with wide rim so that it is easy to clean.  Oddly, hard to find one.  My search brought me to The Landmark, SM MakatiTrue Value, Gourdo's, and Make Room.

(Writing this while queueing for a ride home at a jeepney terminal.)

Mortdecai is about an underground art dealer that was tasked to look for a missing painting by Goya--this is because a known terrorist is also looking for it.  It was believed that a German official wrote the account number where untold amount of treasure is stored.  Oddly comical.

Still have time for my next movie, have fishball for merienda.

American Sniper is a true story about Chris Kyle who became known as "The Legend"--he keeps an "eye" on the marines who go house to house in search of terrorists.  It is more about the character and not a political context.  Am not really into drama but like!

Before proceeding home, bought the item I was searching for.  c",)
