Krazy Garlik

It is the first Saturday of March.  Time for my Saturday devotion.  I would be meditating on the fifth Glorious Mystery, that is, the crowning of Mama Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth.

But first, I will buy my groceries.  I intended to leave much earlier; but, I was able to leave the condominium at 9 AM.  In any case, we were able to get a parking slot easily although there are many cars parked already.

Buying groceries at The Landmark supermarket is also a breeze; thus, by 10 AM, I am already on my way to Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Fr. Alemar is the confessor.

After the confession and my penance, I prayed the Act of Reparation for the first Saturdays of the month, I meditated for 15 minutes on one mystery of the rosary, I prayed the rosary as community, and I participated in the Saturday Mass.

The Mass presider is Fr. Paulo.

One of our greatest desires is to belong to God's kingdom in heaven and on earth.  And for that, we must love children and be childlike.

God loves a grown-up head and childlike heart.  Every minute of our lives is grace--we all live in borrowed time, borrowed breathe, borrowed life.

Here are the qualities of a child we must possess:

  1. Laughter, candidness, wonder.
  2. Listening. We shouldn't think we know everything that we don't listen to others.
  3. Lighthearted like a child.  No baggage.  No airs.
After the Mass, I have my rosary blessed.

Then, I went to Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark which is one of the Jubilee churches.  The plenary indulgence that I might gain I offered for my Uncle Popo.

For lunch, I went to Krazy Garlik at One Ayala.

Tried choosing the house specialty which is identified by a drawing of a garlic beside the name of the dish in the menu.

First, it was a choice of Creamy Spinach Bites (PhP375.00) or Amazing KG Salad (PhP295.00/PhP475.00).  I chose the Creamy Spinach Bites.  I assume it is like eating a fried Spinach and Feta Cheese Ravioli.  LOL.  It is good.

For my main meal, I was actually thinking of 40K Loves Chicken (PhP795.00).  But learned it is for two to three people.  The waitress suggested the Braise Me Up (PhP795.00).  I actually like it better than Italianni's Grilled Pork Chop Au Poivre (PhP595.00/PhP995.00).

Went to Watson's to buy Fern-C for Lyn and Miniso for my eye mask.

And of course, my Frappuccino fix at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf where I started my blog.

Again, walked my way to Greenbelt Chapel for the Anticipated Mass.  I was able to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet and the Rosary as a community.

The Mass presider is Fr. Ronaldo.

A blind man cannot lead a blind man, both will fall in a pit.  The primary path for formators is to introduce Christ.  You are able to accompany someone because you yourself experienced the same.

We are called for a life of integrity.  Integrity is a lifestyle to unite ourselves with Christ.  The language is mercy, love of God.  Correction should not be taken in a moral high ground.  With mercy, you can accompany others because you yourself saw the correction from God.

You tend to judge people because you did not know the story behind the action.

After, went to The Landmark to buy a water purifier to replace our broken one.  I was intending to buy PureIt Excella.  It is no longer available.  The reason I wanted to buy said model is because I have an extra filter for it.  What they have is Classic water purifier, Reverse osmosis water purifier, and Ultrafiltration water purifier.  Opted for the last.  Surprise, surprise!  When paying for the item at the cashier, I saved about PhP1,000.00! 😉  Left Edgar, the driver, waiting for our purchase to be packed so he can bring it to the car.

Went to The Manila Baker to buy a 6" cake, bought tarts at TartKo to try it, and checked the pop-up stores at Glorietta 2 Activity Center.

Then, went home.
