Friday Mass
I will be attending the Friday noon Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel. Woke up late. Left late.
On the way, finished my morning prayers. I was able to pray the Precious Blood of Jesus chaplet, and joined the community to pray the Rosary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer.
The Mass presider is Fr. Ryan.
What do you truly consider your treasure in life? We are easily captivated by world;y wealth--success is measured by wealth, power or fame.
Our faith teaches us there is no inherent sin possessing material things. Unless they are acquired honestly, kept in moderation, used for noble purposes.
When a person becomes obsessed with worldly things and worldly status, a tragic transformation takes place. The pursuit of comfort and prestige slowly eclipses the pursuit of goodness and of God. When we fall into temptation, when we spend too much on acquiring wealth, we become cheaters, opportunists, greedy and thieves.
After, I visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark. For (late) lunch, went to Gran Moshi Cafe at OneAyala.
