Friday Mass
Again, left really late leaving the condo for the Friday Mass at Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel. Left with my Tudor Black Bay 54 on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right.
Joined the community to pray the Sacred Heart of Jesus prayer and the Rosary.
The Mass presider is Fr. Ryan.
Were you in a discussion with someone but you have not heard a single word? Do we know how to listen, even to the Word of God?
Three categories of listeners:
- Drive thru listener. Let the message of the Lord go in one ear and out the other.
- Surface level listener. We listen but we do not let it transform us.
- Arm chair believer. Listen and reflected but no action.
Think of the Word of God like food: chew, swallow, digest.
We begin to bear fruit, produce that is something good.
After the Mass, visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.
For lunch, ate at Tenya Tempura Tendon at Glorietta.
