A Despedida

Another officemate is off again to a "greener pasture", leaving behind her husband and daughter. I have already said my piece regarding working abroad (see my February 9, 2005 post), but then again, each of us is unique and have different priorities.

It should have been at a restaurant offering Filipino cuisine as a reminder of what she would be missing here. But we allowed her to choose which restaurant she prefers. Thus, our despedida lunch was at Teriyaki Boy in Market! Market!.

After lunch, stopped by at Ferrino's Bibingka to buy myself a bibingka for my merienda... (hmmm.. if that's not rhyme, I don't know what is. hehehe!)

Ganon?! Ganyang pananaw po kaya nde umaasenso. Sabi nga, "you are what you think!" (cognitive therapy). Yung guiding principle behind this is "if we think something often enough, we begin to believe it's true."
