Clause Royale

A movie marathon for today, that is, two movies for me! There are four movies in my list of movies to watch currently being shown in Glorietta theaters. One last week (with phone calls disturbing me while watching it) and two for today. Three out of four... not bad! c",)

But first, dropped my car at Ziebart to have its annual diamond gloss paint protection and rustproofing. Then, proceeded to the Ayala Center.

Casino Royale is a prequel to the other James Bond movies. As expected from any James Bond movies, there are lots of action, beautiful women, fast cars, etc. But unlike the other James Bond movies, this James Bond is not "perfect". In fact, the thought that the villain is much better than James Bond cropped up my mind. For example, the chase James Bond made with the guy with a scar who is cat-like in his attempt to escape. I never realized that the "00" is a status for MI6. With it is the license to kill.

Although Daniel Craig (James Bond) is not as "beautiful" as Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan, I like him better than Timothy Dalton.

Next stop is The Santa Claus 3: Escape Clause. Since it is nearing Christmas, Scott Calvin a.k.a. Santa Clause is busy with the preparations. But Jack Frost is determined to "dethrone" Steve as Santa. With his wife, Carol, about to give birth, Steve has to deal with Jack's mischief, toys produced by Santa's workshop and his in-laws.

After the movies, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Mexicali.
