The Covenant

There are two movies showing today that I would like to see: The Covenant and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. Decided to watch "The Covenant" first.

The Covenant is an action, drama, thriller movie. It is about a covenant of silence that was formed to protect five families in the Ipswich Colony of Massachusetts who have great powers. But one of the families has to be banished when the greed for power grows. Down the line, every first born son of the family is gifted with such power--and with such power lies responsibility. When the descendant of the fifth family came back, he threatened to break the covenant which kept the families safe for centuries.

The special effects are great; the concept, intriguing. And observations raised by the movie have some truth in it... like power is addicting.

Just when the climax of the movie is being shown, where the protagonist is fighting with the antagonist, there came a call from the office regarding a problem. And the call is not just once, but five times! Haayyyy... and I thought it would be a quiet weekend for me. Have coordinated with the people that would isolate the problem and those who can decide on the options I have laid out to them. Was spared for one hour of the calls during the anticipated Mass, had dinner at Pancake House and proceeded to the office.

12 midnight, have finally made it! c",)
