Corpus Christi
Wanted to watch Prometheus, who got good reviews from Rotten Tomatoes. But doing so, I would not be able to attend the anticipated Mass. Thus, made my choice.Spent the time window-shopping while waiting for the start of the Mass.
Tomorrow is the start of the Corpus Christi and starting tomorrow, the Mass would follow the Roman Missal. The change in the responses would be gradual until a full Mass would be celebrated by December.
For this month, the change is the response to "The Lord is with you". Instead of "and also with you", the new response would be "and with your spirit".
After the anticipated Mass, had dinner at The New Bombay.
Yesterday is my Nanay's birthday, thus, have Mass for her at our office's chapel--morning, lunch and afternoon. Attended the Mass celebrated around lunch time. While waiting for the Mass to start (after the novena), smelled of candle and felt a cold air pass by. Even commented, "Ano ba yan? Amoy kandila." (Translation: What's that? It smells of candle.) Then when the Mass started, I recalled it is for my Nanay. Poof! Now, I know why there's the smell of candle...
