(S)Ompong ni Goyo

When super typhoon Ompong made a landfall in the North around 2AM, still experienced it.  The wind is strong that we have to put inside the clothes we left drying on the clothesline of the condo's terrace.  You can even hear the houses near us whose roof is trying to let loose.

 Still, even with the typhoon, mall-time!

Bought discounted movie-ticket for Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.  Then, had lunch at Food Choices before my movie.


The film is about Gregorio del Pilar, a young general during the Philippine-American war, who died in the Battle of Tirad Pass.  Many would have compared it with the movie "Heneral Luna".  But here, Goyo is being depicted as celebrity, not unlike our penchant for blind idolatry.  The message of Apolinario Mabini at the end of the film said it all.

After, attended the anticipated Mass, supper at The Landmark's food court, bought 31% Baskin and Robbins ice cream, bought groceries at The Landmark's supermarket.
