Psalm 51

Tomorrow is Divine Mercy Sunday.  The core promise of Divine Mercy Sunday is the complete forgiveness of all sins and punishments (temporal punishment due to sins) for those who receive the Holy Communion in a state of grace, with trust in the Divine Mercy, and after making a confession.

Thus, left the condo around 9 AM with my favorite Omega Speedmaster 38 on my left wrist and my Apple watch on my right.  Also wore my on shoes with the lavander (?) shoelaces.  LOL

On the way to the Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel, Edgar, the driver, told me that Sintaro is asking to buy him an electric fan and radio.  Sintaro was using the portable ceiling fan left by the security guard.  It must have stopped working.  Good thing, I bought before from Lazada a clip portable fan.✔  I asked Lyn to look for it at home (which she was able to) so that Edgar can get it and set it up at Sintaro's bed.

The confession at the chapel starts at 8 AM.  When I arrived, I think I was between 10th to 12th in the queue.

The confessor is Fr. Everett.

After the sacrament of reconciliation, left and looked for the second request of Sintaro.  I wanted that either you can use a battery or plugged in an electrical outlet.

But first, I visited the Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  I was also able to buy the radio I wanted ✔ at the same department store.  And it is 10% off!

I was also giving away blessed rosary bracelets to security guards, janitors, salesladies, etc.  Unfortunately, I think the rosary bracelet I am giving away is for women use only.

Since I brought with me my Kodak Mini Shot 2 Retro Instant Camera, I took images that interested me.  I forgot to set it to have a border.  Tsk!  Tsk!

I have already decided I'll be having lunch at Chili's.  I ordered their Country-Style Pork Belly and Bottomless Lemonade.  Like.

Chili's Country-Style Pork Belly

Went to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Chapel at SM Makati.  The Mass is already ongoing.  I stayed outside where I prayed the Precious Blood of Jesus Chaplet.

Since The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at the Glorietta is still closed and being renovated, I went to The Landmark Food Center so I can start this blog using my Chromebook.

Back at Greenbelt Chapel, I was able to pray the Divine Mercy Novena, joined the community to pray the Rosary.

The anticipated Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

The Feast of the DIVINE Mercy.

We have a God always merciful from the very beginning.

Justice = you get what you deserve
Divine Mercy = you receive which you do not deserve

This feast reminds us that we should recognize God's mercy in us.  But at the same time, we should be merciful to others; be agents of Divine Mercy to others.

After the Mass, proceeded to Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken & Sauce Bar to buy food-to-go.  Although I have finished much earlier, I have to wait for Edgar because he has to pick up my niece around 6:30 PM and bring her to the mall.

As I was about to go inside the car, Edgar told me that the portable clip fan is no longer working.  It smelt burnt.  Must be affected by the day's heat.  So, I asked Edgar to park the car and meet me at Anson's inside The Landmark.  Bought a 3D stand electric fan.  It is buy one, get one.

Home.

Psalm 51

1  Have mercy on me, O God,
       according to your steadfast love;
    according to your abundant mercy
       blot out my transgressions.
2  Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
       and cleanse me from my sin.

3  For I know my transgressions,
       and my sin is ever before me.
4  Against you, you alone, have I sinned,
       and done what is evil in your sight,
   so that you are justified in your sentence
      and blameless when you pass judgment.
5  Indeed, I was born guilty,
       a sinner when my mother conceived me.

6  You desire truth in the inward being;
       therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.
7  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
       wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8  Let me hear joy and gladness;
       let the bones that you have crushed rejoice.
9  Hide your face from my sins,
       and blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
       and put a new and right spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from your presence,
       and do not take your holy spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
       and sustain in me a willing spirit.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
       and sinners will return to you.
14 Deliver me from bloodshed, O God,
       O God of my salvation,
     and my tongue will sing aloud of your deliverance.

15 O Lord, open my lips,
       and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 For you have no delight in sacrifice;
       if I were to give a burnt offering, you would not be pleased.
17 The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
       a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

18 Do good to Zion in your good pleasure;
       rebuild the walls of Jerusalem,
19 then you will delight in right sacrifices,
       in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings;
     then bulls will be offered on your altar.
