My movie weekend would be
Bad Spirits, a horror movie about a twin teenagers who have to travel to Aukland to stay with relatives after their mother's death. There they met a mysterious man who reveals to them the secret beneath the volcanoes and how they (twins) have a big part of. Horror? Nah...
After the movie, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Flapjacks in
Greenbelt 2.

My movie weekend... decided to watch
Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. As expected, many kids brought their parents with them (LOL). The movie is fun. That is if we base the laughs from the kids in the cinema. Anyway, I like dogs better that's why it's OK with me since the "villain" is a cat. I wonder if it is the other way around? Hehehe!

Reunion
Would be meeting up with my friends from Canada. Have to take a half-day leave because it would be too late if I meet them up after office.
After leaving the office, passed by the
Camera Club of the Philippines Center (CCPC) at Waltermart to pick-up my photos that were previously on display, went home to drop them and change to something more comfortable before proceeding the the
Mall of Asia (MOA). Of course, went first to
Data Blitz to buy a LocoRoco UMD. When my PSP got stolen, my LocoRoco is inside it. Was able to buy a second-had PSP yesterday. I'm positive it is not my stolen PSP. Hehehe!
Met my friends up at
Delifrance. They have their two sons with them (the youngest is my
inaanak). Went for a stroll around MOA before proceeding to the
San Miguel by the Bay for our dinner. There's a lot of catching up to do. c",)
Ghost Writer Salt
To make up for the weekends I was unable to watch a movie, decided to do a movie marathon (LOL).
First is
Salt.
Truly an action-packed movie.. it may be ranked among the action classics. A CIA agent, Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie), is accused of being a Russian spy who is tasked to kill the Russian President who will be attending the funeral of a U.S. Vice-President. Forced to run with the weight of proving herself and look for her husband, it puts more doubt on her identity.
Then, there's
The Ghost Writer. A drama, thriller starring Ewan McGregor, Kim Cattrall, Olivia Williams and Pierce Brosnan. A writer (Ewan McGregor) is tasked to complete the memoirs of a former UK prime minister (Pierce Brosnan). The more he digs deeper on the life of his client, sensitive secrets puts his life in danger. There are twists in the story, putting the characters of the story in the forefront.
After the movies, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Super Bowl.
Golden Spoon.... TOSH!
My friend and I had lunch at
The Old Spaghetti House (TOSH) for a Friday the Thirteenth. It's been a long a time since we came back to our usual lunch haunt. Our topic over lunch is the photo walks we have been doing with the
Tilak Hettige. The "explorers", as we call them, is having a grand time with our photo explorations.
After, we had frozen yogurt at
Golden Spoon in Paseo Center.
Explore Baywalk with Tilak
As promised by the
Tilak Hettige to his photo walkers of the
Scott Kelby's 3rd Annual Worldwide Photo Walk's Taguig, Philippines leg, he arranged for another photo walk. This time it is at Baywalk, Manila. It would be be inauguration of his "
Explore With Tilak" series.
Meeting place is at the PULIS booth near the
Aristocrat Restaurant. The walk would start at 6AM. When I arrived there before 6AM, there is a already a handful of "explorers" shooting their hearts out. Our shoot was from 6AM to 8AM. Around 8AM, we are already on our way to the Aristocrat Restaurant for our breakfast. All in all, everyone enjoyed our "exploration".
Oh! Tilak was also surprised by one of the explorers with a cake for his (belated) birthday gift.
After, went home to drop my gear and went back to Glorietta for my usual movie. Watched
Inception. It is a must-see movie. Even at the end, it will keep you guessing... c",)
Then, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Friday's.

Got my Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM and Canon Speedlite 270EX (for my Canon G10).
Framed Shots: Tsinelas
It is our camera club's monthly meeting. The photo theme for the month is "Tsinelas" (translation: slippers). We also have an assignment, that is, "what is your poison?"
Aside from the judging of the monthly theme and photo assignment, we also had a lecture on strobist.
