Sale Sale Sale

Took me 11:45 min/km walk pace from Rufino to The Landmark.  The store is on sale.. and so is Glorietta mall.

Had lunch at Bistro Ravioli and picked-up my vivosmart I had repaired at Garmin Concept Store.  Will give the vivosmart to my niece (I already have vivosmart HR).  Then, went to Uniqlo where I saw may cousin and nieces.  Nice!

Since I would not be watching a movie, just walked.  Back to The Landmark, able to see a rechargeable fan with light and solar panel.  Bought it for it is at 10% discount.  Actually, liked that there are three sources for it to operate/charge--AC, battery, solar panel.  In case there will no be power (knock on wood), I can have it charged via the sun.  Also bought a blouse on sale for the office.

Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Modern Shanghai.  Bought groceries at The Landmark and passed by Pet Express for Tsubasa's dog food.

Ratchet, Clank And Apocalypse

Took a leave to take the medical tests requested by my OB-Gyne.  Already made an appointment so that I would complete all tests in the morning and have the afternoon free.

Will get the result of my mammography and sonomammography on June 1.  For the other test:

Retroverted Uterus with Myoma Uteri as described.
Thin and Intact Endometrium.
Normal-sized Both Ovaries.

Then, walked my way to The Landmark.  Bought discounted movie tickets for Ratchet & Clank, and X-Men: Apocalypse.  Had Mongolian lunch at Food Choices before my movies.

In "Ratchet & Clank", Ratchet, a mechanic, with his newfound robot friend, Clank, join the fight against Chairman Drek from destroying the galaxy.  Not really exciting.

Since I still have time for my next movie, ticked-off some items in my list like cable charger for my iPad, walnuts, gnawler for my dogs, Oracare, fish oil.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" continues after Mystique saves the world in 1973, becoming a hero to mutants, as she hides in the shadows while saving other mutants in bad situations.  Then, a powerful mutant awakens from thousand of years of slumber who aims to rule the world.  Like the action, special effects, etc.

Advanced Photography

Was asked to be the speaker for the Advanced Photography Workshop sponsored by our office's camera club.

Was early at the office to set-up.  Everything went smoothly except for the 2nd model who is late.  Thus, have to find a back-up model, and Gay was it!  Hehehe!

While doing the photo shoot after lunch, there was a car that overheated.  One thing is sure, many camera captured the incident.  Hehehe!

Walked my way to Glorietta.  Attended the anticipated Mass, had dinner at Bistro Ravioli, bought walnuts at Rustan's and groceries at The Landmark.

Sports Fest

It is our office's sports festival opening and it will be held at SM Arena.  Unlike previous years, if you have registered that you will attend and you are a no-show, you have to pay PhP200.00.  Hehehe!  The organizers learned their lesson.

At 8AM, already at SM Arena.  The program will start at 9AM.

As my usual, did not finish the programme.  Went to the nearby SM Mall of Asia.  Bought a cooling mat at Pet Express for Tsubasa.  Lunch at El Pollo Loco (will not miss this) before proceeding to may favorite mall, Glorietta.  Hehehe!  Of course, had dessert at Cold Stone Creamery upon arriving at Glorietta.

The malls are on sale.  Can't resist.

Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Gerry's Grill.  Bought groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.

Woke up late.  Noticed that Jennifer, the replacement of Marysan, is not around.  Learned she left the house without advising me nor the rest of the household.  But my other "angels" are worried.  We finally learned she just packed-up and left.  We have already informed Marysan to tell Jennifer's parents.  Tsk!  Tsk!

Election 2016

Woke up early.  The voting precinct will open at 6AM.

My nephew also came with me.  We will be voting in the same precinct.  Voted for Mar Roxas, President, and Leni Robredo, Vice-President.  I wore a yellow shirt and yellow baller to show my support.

Met Manong who already casted his vote.  Then, walked to Jollibee for breakfast before walking home.

Just watched TV to get updates on the election.

Also, lit a candle for the Filipino people to discern who is the leader they would be voting for.  Also completed four (4) decades of rosary, as requested by CBCP.

Prayer Before Election

From http://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/prayers-and-devotions/prayers/prayer-before-an-election.cfm

Lord God, as the election approaches,
we seek to better understand the issues and concerns that confront our city/state/country,
and how the Gospel compels us to respond as faithful citizens in our community.
We ask for eyes that are free from blindness
so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters,
one and equal in dignity,
especially those who are victims of abuse and violence, deceit and poverty.
We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children unborn and those abandoned,
Men and women oppressed because of race or creed, religion or gender.
We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your Kingdom.
We pray for discernment
so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word,
live your love,
and keep in the ways of your truth
as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles
and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace.
We ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Last Day Of Campaigning

10:21 min/km walk pace from Rufino to The Landmark.  Fast.  Hehehe!

Have no plans of watching a movie.  So, will just walk around the mall for my "steps" as well as showing my baller to show my support to my candidates.  Today is the last day of campaigning, and all presidentiables will have their miting de avance.

Been trying to pray the four decades of rosary as requested by the CBCP.  Was hoping the Filipino voters' eyes, mind and heart will be opened to choose the right leader--someone whose policies and works for the country and its people will give honor to God and His Words.

Had lunch at Italianni's.  Dessert at Cold Stone Creamery.  Then walked.

Attended the anticipated Mass.  One who always attend the Mass gave me candies for Mother's Days.  She said it's a gift from a mother.  Sweet.  c",)

We had dinner at Modern Shanghai then went to Rustan's to buy walnuts.  Have been reading the health benefits of walnuts.

Bought groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.

Captain America: Civil War

Already bought a ticket online yesterday.  This way, I am sure I would be able to watch Captain America: Civil War after my treatment.

As soon as the mall opened, went to KARADA for my treatment.  And it's free!

Had lunch at Bistro Ravioli before my movie.  This time, ordered lasagna primavera.

And now, my movie.

Captain America, Steve Rogers, is leading a new formed group of Avengers in order to safeguard humanity.  But an incident in Lagos brought a heavy collateral damage, causing political pressure to put control on the Avengers.  This has caused a divide among the Avengers.  Lots of action and emotional content.  Definitely, much, much, much better than Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Gone

Marysan left to go back home. She'll continue her studies. Goodluck and God bless.

Walked to The Landmark from Rufino.  It's 10:45min/km pace walk.

Would have liked to watch Captain America: Civil War, but I would be missing the anticipated Mass. So, decided just to window shop while waiting for the Mass.

Had lunch at Bistro Ravioli and dessert at Cold Stone Creamery.  Then, just walked.  Showing-off my baller with my VP's name on it--Leni Robredo.  Sure have a different feeling when you see others wearing the same baller.  Not the same if you see baller of other candidates.  Weh!

Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Pho Bac.  Did some groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.
