Ho-Hum

Lots happened this week in the office... and not positively.  Guess my answer is the sermon from today's Gospel.

Went to the office to tick-off items on my list--supposedly should have completed it yesterday but given the workload, did not.  Tuesday would be a holiday and Monday would not be enough to complete all of them.

Then, walked my way to Ayala Center.  Had sizzling pork chop with egg for lunch at The Landmark's food court.  Will not watch a movie (will do it on May 1 instead).  So, window-shopped.  Attended the anticipated Mass at Mary Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark.  I had supper at Phobac before taking a jeepney ride home.

Treatment

Have already made a reservation for my treatment.  It's been a long time since my last treatment.  Was at the mall as soon as it opened.

After my treatment at Karada, had lunch at Bistro Ravioli.  It's been two months since I ate at this restaurant.  Had spinach and feta cheese ravioli.

Bought the remaining items I was not able to tick-off from my list.

a)  Cellphone stand at Daiso Japan
b)  Vornado air circulator at Rustan's
c)  Celeteque at The Landmark
d)  Organizer at The Landmark (will use it as a base for the air circulator to avoid dirt, hair, etc. from being pulled)

Then, proceeded home.

Rampage

Bought discounted movie ticket for Rampage.

Then, had Mongolian lunch at Food Choices.  Made reservation at Karada for my treatment tomorrow.  And window-shopped while waiting for my movie.

George, an albino gorilla, got affected by an experiment that fell from space.  Primatologist Davis Okoye has to save his friend George, who will later help in defeating other animals affected by the same experiment.  Fast-paced, action with humor here and there.

Attended the anticipated Mass then we had dinner at Gerry's Grill.  After, bought groceries at The Landmark's supermarket and dropped by Pet Express to buy food for my dog Tsubasa.

Hair

Hair-pampering day.  Already made an appointment.  Was at Coco Grace Salon by 10AM.

After, had a late lunch at The Landmark food court.  Had my new Starmobile Engage 7i+ screen-protected and also bought a battery for Lyn's Samsung Galaxy V.  The new tablet is to be used for CCTV screen for my use.  Bought sylvannas at Sans Rival at Food Choices, and Oracare at Mercury Drug.  Then, proceeded home.

A Quiet Place

Will watch A Quiet Place.  I got good reviews.  Bought my ticket online.

Before my movie, had lunch at Wendy's.

A family of four must live their lives in silence as mysterious creatures will hunt you when they hear you.  This is a suspense movie where the audience watching is also silent lest creating a noise may hurt the family's survival.  All you can do is cringe at your seat.  A must watch.  Thumb's up!

After the movie, window-shopped.  Attended the anticipated Mass, had dinner at Pancake House and bought groceries at The Landmark.

I Kill Giants

A holiday.

First, went to SM Mall of Asia.  Planning to buy rosaries, keychains with Benedictine medal/cross at St. Paul's.  I have requested Norlie to have them blessed at San Beda.

Then, was dropped off at Glorietta.  Would watch I Kill Giants.

Did window shopping while waiting for my movie.  Received an SMS from Kuya to buy a paper shredder.  Would buy one before I go home.

Barbara Thorson thinks she is saving the town by veering the giant away from the town.  An oddball, she is a butt of school bullies.  She found a friend who is new in town and convinces her about the giant.  It is actually a girl's imagination that if she kill the giant, she saves her mom from death.  When I am watching this, I feel I have seen similar plot... possibly the movie "A Monster Calls"?

Lessons from "I Kill Giants":
* All things die and people need to find joy in the living.
* Come to not fear the end.
* Embrace life without denial.
* We're stronger than we think.

Burial

Would attend my uncle's burial at the Manila Memorial Park.  Supposedly, Mass would be at 8AM.  Was late to attend the Mass because it started 7:30AM.  It has become a reunion of sorts.

For pagpag, we went to SM City BF Paranaque where we ate at Samgyeopmasarap.

Prayers...

Irritating

Until this project is not fully implemented, it causes irritation.  It seems all that will cause the delay is happening, projected or not.  And it has been eating my "me" time on weekends (even the holidays).

Decided to go to the office to check on the tasks still to be serviced and remind those responsible.  But first, ate lunch at Claudette's.  After, walked to the office.  Got the information I needed.  TXTed and Vibered as needed.  Then, walked my way to Ayala Center.

Ticked items from my list.  Had Mongolian lunch at Food Choices.  Prayed the last day for the Novena to the Divine Mercy at Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel--tomorrow is the Feast Day of the Divine Mercy.  Also attended the anticipated Mass there.

Had supper at PhoBac, bought groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.

Easter Sunday

Would attend the 10AM Easter Sunday Mass at Don Bosco Parish Church.  Was early.  While waiting, prayed the rosary.

During Easter Sunday Mass, we renew our Baptismal promises and we are sprinkled with blessed baptismal water.

After the Mass, outside the Church, are people sharing their blessings (food).  Nice!

Wanted to have our photos at Splash Island printed, thus, walked my way to Ayala Center.  Had lunch at Food Choices while waiting for the photos printed.
