Hair Pay Return
Hair-pampering day.
Took a taxi to
Glorietta. Stopped first
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Glorietta 2. My Eggs Ben is free because I use my reward points. Then, proceeded to
Coco Grace Salon at
The Link by 10AM.
Finished around 1PM. Went first to
The Landmark's
Bayad Center to pay the condo's Meralco bill, passed by
Sensou to buy a Lavander and Chamomile massage oil. Had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices. Passed by
Japan Home Center at
Park Square before taking a jeepney ride home.
Alighted near
Makati Cinema Square to have one of the CDs replaced. Then, took another jeepney ride home. Good thing, I flagged down a Mantrade-Washington route jeepney. Now, I know what jeepney route I should be taking to my new home, for the meantime.
Tenant Cleaning
Have an appointment with my dentist at 10:30AM. But first, passed by our Washington apartment hoping to leave my letter of request to two of our tenants. Then, passed by
Petron to fill-up the HR-V (every Saturday, there's a PhP2.00 discount per liter). Finally, was dropped off at
Catipon Dental Clinic.
Just from my teeth, my dentist knows I sleep late. Advised that I should sleep early and cut into smaller pieces food to not provide to much pressure on my teeth. Learned that saliva is a natural cleanser and it also fights acid.
After, crossed to
Makati Cinema Square to buy something for my MacBook Air which I was able to salvage from the fire. Then, walked to
Word and Life to buy more Benedictine Medal. Rode a jeepney to
Greenbelt where I had my lunch at
Conti's.
No plans of watching a movie but instead buy more items for me and for the condo.
For me, a denim pants. Went to
SM Makati where the brand I prefer is being sold--Pazzo. Good thing it is on sale. One item costs about PhP1,300.00. Get two for the price of PhP1,600.00. So, bought 1 denim long pants and 1 denim capri pants. I bought before a Paddock's capri pants but am not comfortable with it--will just have to give it to one of my "angels".
Then went to
The Landmark which is also on sale. So, bought bed cover, pillow cases and blankets to replace the one set we bought before we moved in to the condo. Left my purchases the store's package counter.
Attended the anticipated Mass and I had dinner at
Phobac. Bought groceries at The Landmark's supermarket and passed by
Pet Express before proceeding home.
Megamall Tenant
Borrowed my brother's driver for half a day for I plan to go to
SM Megamall to buy accessories for the cameras I was able to save from the fire and provide letter to our tenants to help me sort our records.
First, we dropped Lyn at Espiritu before we proceeded to SM Megamall. On the way, heavy rain fell because of Typhoon Josie. Was at the mall before it opened.
Proceeded immediately to
Fujifilm at the basement. Bought extra battery for my Instax Mini 90 and Instax SQ10. Both uses the same battery so just bought one as back-up. Then, went to the stall of
Hua Mulan to buy the massage comb. Both these items/ shops are available in Megamall (and not on my favourite mall--Glorietta/ Greenbelt). Next is at
Canon in Cyberzone for the battery and charger of my Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 7D and Canon 350D. Just got the model for they are not available.
Ate first at
El Pollo Loco, went to
St. Paul's and
Pet Express. Bought jack for my car at
Concorde. Then, left to go to Washington.
Knocked on doors to leave my letter of request to provide me copies of the last OR or temporary receipt given to them. Was not able to give to two tenants.
Then, was dropped off at
Glorietta.
Bought items from my list: brown envelopes, plastic envelope, folder at
National Bookstore, rechargeable battery at
True Value on sale,
maong tokong and buy one take one blouse at
SM Makati, 20% of washing machine at
Anson's in
The Landmark (for delivery).
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel, dinner at
Gerry's Grill in
Greenbelt 3, groceries at The Landmark's supermarket before proceeding home.
Back Treatment
Already made reservation yesterday. This would be the first time since the fire that I would take my back treatment.
It was raining hard. Good thing when I went down, the rain already stopped and there are taxis along Buendia waiting for passengers. Took a taxi to Glorietta. Waited at Mercury Drug for the mall to open. As soon as it did, went to
KARADA.
Instead of having lunch after my treatment, went to the activity center where there are Fuji cameras on sale. My Instax Mini 90 is working fine but my Instax Wide 300 is not. I wasn't able to find my Instax SQ10; thus, decided to buy one. Aside from the freebies, also got a 10% discount. Also put a screen protector on the camera's LCD display by my
suki.
Had late lunch for spinach and feta cheese ravioli plus warm water at
Bistro Ravioli. Bought small bilao of
Razon's pancit luglug, one big bucket of
Jollibee ChickenJoy for our
meryenda at home.
Since there is no taxi at the taxi stand, took
Grab instead.
Ant-Man and The Wasp Return
Today, will return the items lent to us by our aunt which we can use in the condo unit while we are waiting for our furnitures, specifically, our
bunk bed. So, off we go and returned the folding chairs, mattresses, pillow case, blanket, mattress cover, Stanley tape measure. But first, stopped by
McDonald's along Sucat for breakfast before proceeding to my aunt's house. Only the kids of my niece from cousin (and their "angels") were around to receive the item.
Next stop is at Zamora to check on my cameras that were saved from the fire. Got the Instax Mini 90 and Instax Wide 300. Will have to buy films to test. Dropped off Lyn by the condo before proceeding to
Glorietta.
Not sure if this is the first movie I watched since we transferred to the condo unit; but, bought discounted movie ticket for
Ant-Man and the Wasp. Will take my lunch after the movie.
Because of the incident in London, Scott Lang is under house arrest. He is also not supposed to be in contact with Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym. But because of the mission of the two, he has to suit up again to fight alongside with The Wasp. Like!
Then, had my late Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices and dessert at
Baskin Robbins. Today, I would be buying items needed for recording the rent. Went to
National Bookstore to buy record logbook, stamp date, stamp pad, stamp ink, copy paper. Left my purchases at
The Landmark's package counter. Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel and we had dinner at
Phobac. Bought groceries at The Landmark's supermarket. Passed by Pet Express to buy diapers for Tsubasa before proceeding home.
Senior Birthday Blessing
Among the three of us, only I was invited to a birthday party by a senior lady (Mila). Don't plan to disappoint so will attend. But, today is also the blessing of my condo unit--it will just be us. So, must watch out all the activities to make things smooth.
- Be at the mall by 10AM as it opens so I can buy a gift for the birthday celebrant. Originally planned for a cake. Changed my mind given that it would be hard for her to carry with her gifts. Decided to buy one big box of Ferrero Rocher and have it gift-wrapped.
- Attend the lunch birthday party at Luk Yuen in Glorietta. (Was able to buy other things before going to Luk Yuen.)
- Lyn to bring Theo at Pet Express for lodging. Tsubasa will stay at the condo.
- Leave Glorietta to go back to the condo. (Learned that Kuya Ben has arrived to install the grills. Now, everything is complete.)
- Delivery of Amber's Restaurant around 1:30PM.
- Edgar to pick-up Fr. Raffy at Don Bosco Parish Church around 2:30PM.
- The blessing at 3PM.
- Partake of the food.
- Join in bringing back Fr. Raffy to Don Bosco Parish Church. He still has another house blessing to go to.
- Drop me off at SM Makati to buy a few things before attending the anticipated Mass.
- Lyn who to pick-up Theo at Pet Express.
- Attend the anticipated Mass.
- Dinner at the Pancake House.
- Buy a few items at The Landmark's supermarket.
- Proceed home.
Bed
Finally, the
(Espresso 4) bed we ordered online has arrived. My niece received it and she was able to request that the steps be switched to the right (instead of left)--a consolation given we were sleeping on the floor with borrowed mattresses for more than two weeks.
Now, I can have the condo unit blessed.
