Eye Service

Last Thursday, woke up feeling something wrong with my eyes.  It is blurry. I am far-sighted but the images I see at afar looks like it is zigzagging.  So, made an appointment to my doctor for Saturday.  By Friday, my eyes seems to back to normal.

So, first thing, went to Abesamis Vision Care Center.  There were many patients, mostly children.  Result?  My reading grade doubled but my vision for afar lowered.  That means, new pair of glasses for me.

Also, last week, there is a problem with the juicer because of the way my "angel" set it up.  Am afraid it affected the juicer's motor.  Thus, from the doctor, have lunch at Tokyo Tokyo, proceeded to Hurom's service center.  Good thing the motor was not affected.

Was dropped off at Glorietta.  Walked for my steps goal.

Attended the anticipated Mass, had dinner at Gerry's Grill, groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.

European Package

Went to Makati Medical Center for my endocrinologist check-up.  Already took my blood tests yesterday.

While waiting to be called, received an e-mail showing my billing statement for the Marian Pilgrimage package I am availing.  Good thing, the travel agency is open until 2PM, will try to be there to pay (since our tickets will be processed by Tuesday).  With many patients, I completed my check-up after 2 1/2 hours (12:15pm).  Tsk!  Tsk!  And the doctor said I am overweight...  Oops... Supposedly my ideal weight is 63kg.

So had Edgar the driver pick me up at the hospital so that we can go to Adam's Express Travel.  Was able to arrive there before 2PM.  Done.

Since I am truly hungry, dropped first at The Aristocrat for lunch before being dropped-off at Glorietta.

As usual, since it's around payroll time, the mall is on sale.  Shopped/window-shopped... the better to meet my goal steps.

Attended the anticipated Mass and we had dinner Pancake House.  Since my brother used the driver, he will be able to pick me up late.  So, continue my stroll.  Would not be able to buy groceries as it will be already close by then.  Will have to do in Monday, then.

Pete's Dragon To Busan

A holiday.  Have already made a reservation for my AP + BT treatment.  As soon as the mall opened, went to KARADA for my treatment.

Already bought my tickets online via Sureseats last night.  My first movie would still be at 1:30PM; thus, had my lunch at Bistro Ravioli.  Then, went to True Value to buy a selica gel.  Also bought a case (at 50% off) to store the medicines I would be bringing on my trip.

An orphaned boy Pete survived the forest for years.  Thanks to Pete's Dragon which he called Elliot.  Everything would have been OK had it not that people from the nearby town discovered Pete.  Warm, timeless.  Also brought tears to my eyes when the inevitable has to happen--for Pete and Elliot has to part ways.  Thumbs up!

Since I still have time for my next movie, bought more items off my list.  Went to Uniqlo to buy the Heattech items my niece suggested.  Then, to Mercury Drug to buy medicines and small sized toiletries.  Had merienda at Food Choices.

A workaholic father has to take a half-day off to bring his daughter to his estranged wife as a promise to her daughter on her birthday.  But everything went awry when the zombie also plagues the train they were in.  Train to Busan is a combination of Snowpiercer and World War Z.    But it incorporates humor.  And shed a tear, too.  The theater-goers clapped at the end of the movie.

After the movie, bought a few more items at The Landmark before proceeding home.

Preparing

Thought of buying things I would be bringing for my trip.  I already bought before a (winter) jacket at Uniqlo but somehow I don't know where I kept it.  LOL

Dropped by Columbia at Greenbelt 5.  I have a platinum card thus I always get a discount for items I buy in the store.  Able to buy a jacket that is on sale by 50% off plus another 5% discount due to my card.

Then for lunch, went to Conti's.  Of course, did not miss their Mango Bravo.

Passed by Geox at Greenbelt 3.  Oops... another thermal jacket on sale.  This one is much lighter.

Left my items at The Landmark's package counter.

For two days I have been experiencing headache.  Went to our office's clinic yesterday.  I like our doctor who is assigned at that time as she explains things not just give you something to take.  She asked how painful and whether if the pain is steady or is beating (migraine).  She asked me to take Flanax in a full stomach since the Advil and Dolfenal I took seems not to work.  She said it could be stress or eye strain.  But if the pain persists for one week, I should go to an ophthalmologist.

In fear that it may be my eyes, looked for an eye pillow which I can have it cooled.  Was able to find one at Rustan's.

Also went to Uniqlo to buy a loungewear set  (on sale) and one gaucho pants.  At least I have one that is a bit semi-formal than the Columbia pants I plan to bring along.

Attended the anticipated Mass and we had dinner at Modern Shanghai.  Bought groceries before proceeding home.

At home, my niece showed me her purchases which she will be bringing for their Korean trip.  She suggested that I also buy the Heattech products of Uniqlo in case Europe will be cold during my trip.

So checked the average weather in Europe during October in the internet.  Some say when they travelled during that time, it is rainy.  Hmmm... seems my waterproof MBT shoes is it!

Accessories

Went to Canon Customer Care Center in Magallanes Village in hope to buy a lens hood for the Canon Powershot SX60 HS I recently bought.  Unfortunately, they are only open on weekdays.

Decided to go to SM Mall of Asia as they have a Canon store on said mall.  According to them, the lens hood is not available in the Philippine market.  Hayyy... Since I am already at SM MOA, had lunch at El Pollo Loco.

Then, went back to Glorietta.  Would have watched Don't Breathe but if I do, I would miss the anticipated Mass.  Thus, decided to just walk.  Have reached Greenbelt and practiced using my new camera.  Also, ordered the lens hood from one of my suki, Infomax.

Attended the anticipated Mass, had dinner at Pho Bac and did some groceries at The Landmark.
