First stop is brunch at
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Intend to check-out the photography items on display at the
Glorietta for the
Photoworld Asia 2014 event. Was able to buy
eneloop batteries, in preparation for the wedding we would be covering.
While strolling, there's a dragon dance also going to the different shops.
Since already at the mall, decided to watch a movie.
Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Wrong decision. Because of the camera movement, I feel dizzy and feels nauseated. Left the movie without finishing it.
Another check on the booths and saw a friend. Had bonding time at
Starbucks Coffee before proceeding home.
I, Frankenstein
My movie weekend. Intended to watch
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit but the first showing is at 4PM. Not possible because I plan to attend the anticipated Mass. Switching to
I, Frankenstein.
Cannot use my BPI Amore Card to buy the movie ticket but can still enjoy the discount but has to pay in cash.
But first, a Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices and Belgian Espresso cupcake at the
Vanilla Cupcake Bakery and Cafe.
200 years after he was created by Dr. Frankenstein, Adam (name given to him by the Queen of the Gargoyles) is still alive. But this time, he finds himself in the midst of the war between demons and gargoyles, with the latter protecting humanity. Love the concept. In Van Helsing, it is the vampires who is after Frankenstein's creation; in this movie, it is the demons.
After the movie, went to
Mercury Drug to buy Genteal drops and shirt on sale at
Uniqlo.
After the anticipated Mass, had dinner at
Super Bowl of China.
Microphone
Because of the wedding we would be covering where my niece is tasked to take the video, wanted to add a "gadget" to her arsenal. A microphone!
But first, lunch at
The Landmark's food court. Then, went to
Digital Walker at
Greenbelt 5. Nada! Passed by
Royce to buy a Marshmallow Chocolate. Back to The Landmark to buy blouses on sale. And the real purpose, at
Henry's where I was able to buy the
Aputure V-Mic.
Normally, I would check first the
reviews before buying. This time, I did not. Lucky me, I chose the correct item.
Bought a pair of earrings (40% off) at
F&C at
SM,
Ampalaya Plus at
Mercury Drug, and attended the anticipated Mass. After, had dinner at
Wee Nam Kee.
Another Surprise
Was on sick leave yesterday. When I reported for work today, a surprise is on my desk! A friend based in New Zealand left her gift on my desk. So sweet! Too bad was not able to see her... :-(
Surprise!
A cousin based in Germany dropped by the office today. Was in a meeting but would not miss seeing her. My Wednesday meeting always take a long time--a good excuse to step out of the meeting.
Learned she was back in the Philippines for medical reasons. Hopes her operation would be a success. Will pray for her.
Wedding Photographers' Seminar
The wedding we would be covering on March requires that the photographers and videographers undergo a seminar to discuss the policy of said church when covering a wedding. The seminar (or briefing) would be today.
Left the house around 10AM and was at
Sta. Clara de Montefalco Parish in Pasig City around 10:50AM with my niece, who would do the video. Checked the Church and had a short snack of hotdog and fishball.
After the briefing, the group discussed the strategy on the day of the wedding. Decided to continue tomorrow at the office.
After, stopped at
SM Aura for our lunch. This is also to check out this new mall. Looks like a combination of Greenbelt 5 and Rockwell. Our lunch is at
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, located at the top floor of the mall.
Gave my old wifi modem to Edgar since I got a new one from Sun Cellular.
Renewal
Hair-pampering day. Usually do it on Sundays; but since we have to go to the church tomorrow where we would be covering for a wedding, have to do it today.
After, had a quick lunch at
Food Choices before proceeding to
Greenbelt. Would be availing the retention plan for my
Sun Cellular broadband plan. Took me more than one (1) hour to finish my business. Tsk! Tsk!
Next item on my list is to have the free
Alcatel One Glory X I got from Sun Cellular rooted. This unit has built-in apps that don't allow me to uninstall?! I was only able to download AVG Antivirus, AVG Cleaner and Viber in the unit. Even the updates of the apps already installed in the unit cannot be updated due to lack of space?! Found one at
Glorietta who was able to root the unit.
After, went to
Mercury Drug to buy Berocca, cupcake-fix at
Vanilla Cupcake Bakery then anticipated Mass. Had dinner at
Kaya Express.
Canvass
Since I already watched the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries I wanted to watch, decided just to canvass for the cheapest laptop or netbook for our driver. He wanted to buy one for his son. But first, had a quick Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices.
There is no problem in getting price lists from the different stores in the mall as they are all accommodating in hope to sell an item. Found one which costs PhP13,999.99 at
Octagon.
After canvassing, had a banoffee at the
Vanilla Cupcake Bakery & Cafe, bought Genteal drops at
Mercury Drug, bought shirts at
Uniqlo, and went back to
Glorietta for the anticipated Mass.
After the Mass, had dinner at
Italianni's.
Since I plan to buy dog food, was picked-up by the driver at Glorietta so that we can go to
Pet Express for the dog food and bought some groceries at
SM Hypermart.
