"Partners for Justice" is a South Korean television (TV) series about a forensic doctor and a prosecutor who work together to solve cases.
If you love the American TV series CSI, you would love this. But unlike CSI, there is a underlying story that will keep you on your seat and want to finish the season in one seating. Which I think is much better than CSI.
Baek Boom (Jung Jae-young) is a forensic doctor with ten years of experience at the National Forensic Service (NFS) . Although his skills are recognized, he is eccentric. Eun Sol (Jeong Yu-mi) is a rookie prosecutor. Born into a wealthy family, she possesses photographic memory. She is bright and warm-hearted but a little clumsy.
The first season's underlying story is Baek Boom's car accident.
The second season's underlying story is about Doctor K.
And I can't wait for the third season because of the last scene in Season 2. Hope there will be a Season 3...

Busted!
Finished Season 3 of Busted! Watching it is a breeze because it is a lot of fun. The idea is to have celebrities act as sleuths. There is a story line but they themselves have to solve these "cases".
Season 1 have these celebrity detectives figure out the mystery of Project D and how it was formed.
In Season 2, they have to search for the "Flower Killer".
For Season 3, the cases they investigate is linked to a shady organization.

Uncanny Counter
Watched the last episode of Season 1 for Uncanny Counter. Two episodes are being released every week. I cannot wait for Season 2. But I guess, I have to by 2022.

A group of four demon-hunters called the Counters have the task of searching and banishing evil spirits that escaped the afterlife to gain immortality. These evil spirits possess humans who have committed murder or have strong desire to murder, encouraging their host's desire to kill and consumes the spirit of the victims. As more people were killed by their host, their level increases.
The Counters, on the other hand, are possessed by the spirit from Yung while they are under coma, giving them healthy bodies and consciousness with superhuman strength and supernatural abilities. Three of the Counters--Ga Mo-tak (Yoo Jun-sang), Do Ha-na (Kim Se-jeong) and Choo Mae-ok (Yeom Hye-ran)--pose as workers in Eonni's Noodles, a noodle restaurant which serves as their hide-out.
The fourth Counter is a high school boy So Mun (Jo Byung-gyu) was possessed by Wi-gen after the previous fourth Counter Jang Cheol-joong was killed in battle against a level 3 evil spirit. Uncannily, Mun is not under coma.
There is chemistry among the Counters. Also liked the friendship Mun has with Kim Woong-min and Im Joo-yeon, and his relationship with his grandparents. Luv this series! 👍
Plant
Finally, I can have my haircut. Already set an appointment for 10AM today. Will also have a pedicure (I usually have it done at home but since my manicurist is a senior citizen and still in [pandemic] quarantine, it is not possible).
Hair-pampering day plus so are my toes. Hehehe! I also brought my small air purifier (aside from the one I am wearing on my neck) at the Coco Grace Salon. Finished between 1PM to 2PM.
Then, went to SM Mall of Asia (MOA) because I wanted to buy an air plant. Saw one when I was at MOA earlier. But first, bought blouses at Uniqlo which is on sale at that time (noticed I work the same blouse for the office two weeks in a row. LOL). Bought the air plant plus a money tree. Weh! Checked a dog treat at Pet Express. Too bad, it is not available.
Proceeded home.
Don't Dare To Dream
Just finished the South Korean series recommended by my niece, Don't Dare To Dream, also known as "Jealousy Incarnate".
In conclusion, this is one series I would not tire watching again.
Weather forecaster Pyo Na-ri (Gong Hyo-jin) had a crush on news anchor Lee Hwa-shin (Jo Jung-suk) three years ago. But this all changes when Na-ri meets Go Jung-won (Go Kyung-pyo), a chaebol heir and who happens to be Hwa-sin's best friend.
Another love triangle is Sung-sook and Ja-young, rivals in both love and career, get entangled with Chef Kim Rak.
Not to be outdone are the three teenagers, Lee Ppal-gang with Pyo Chi-yeol, Na-ri's brother, and Oh Dae-goo.
Luv the characters (and the acting) of Na-ri, Hwa-shin and Jung-won. But, I think I got the "second lead syndrome". Hehehe! Don't forget, too, Secretary Cha. 😉
You're All Surrounded
My usual weekend is being in the mall. But with the #COVID19 pandemic, this has to be changed. Thus, going out on weekends is few and far between.
Today, have to go out and go to Honda Cars Makati to pay for the repair of my Honda HR-V and pick it up. Last week, Edgar, the driver, loaded up gasoline in my car before picking me up at the office. Anyway, it is not gas.. it is diesel! He insists that he asked to fill-up the car with gasoline; even, getting ideas that the gasoline station mixes their gasoline with diesel. Duh?! My service advisor asked me last Monday (that is when the car was brought to the service center) if we were to proceed with the repair or have the gasoline station pay for it. Huh?! I think the latter is very unlikely to happen. Now, I have to shell out PhP25,000.00 for this big mistake.
Since I am already out of the house, wanted to check some religious books at St. Paul's. After paying for the repairs (Edgar will pick up the car later), went to SM Mall of Asia.

Towelite. Saw a dry bag which I can use as my bug-out bag. Although there is no on "Sale" on display, the bags are on sale! Bought a 20L dry bag.
I do hope I am their lucky buena mano as I am their first customer for the day. 😊
And finally, finished another Korean television series in
Netflix. It is
You're All Surrounded. I was actually looking for a Korean series starring Cha Seung-won for I liked him in another Korean television series
A Korean Odyssey as Woo Ma-wang, the Bull Demon King. I did not know that with him also in this series (You're All Surrounded) is Lee Seung-gi, who is Son Oh-gong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, in the "A Korean Odyssey" until my niece pointed it out to me. Hehehe! Both of them are young here in this series.

There's comedy, action, drama and romance. Even here, Cha Seung-won and Lee Seung-gi already has "chemistry".
Kim Ji-yong (Lee Seung-gi) witnessed the murder of her mother at a young age. There was also an attempt on his life that he has to go missing, ending up on an orphanage and able to change his name to Eun Dae-gu. In charge of his mother's case, who is supposed to be a witness, is Seo Pan-seok (Che Seung-won), whom Dae-gu believes conspired with his mother's killer. He became a detective in order to investigate his mother's death and ended-up in Detective Seo's team. With him are three rookies Eo Soo-sun (who attended the same middle school as Ji-yong/ Dae-gu), Park Tae-il (who left medicine to be a detective) and Ji Gook (geeky and talkative guy). Like!
Oh My Ghost
Finished again another South Korean television series Oh My Ghost starring Jo Jung-suk as an arrogant star chef Kang Sun-woo and Park Bo-young as Na Bong-sun, an extremely timid personality with very low self-esteem--her seeing ghosts did not help.

Bong-sun was possessed by Shin Soon-ae, a lustful virgin ghost, who believes that she can move on to the afterlife if she would be able to resolve her grudge by losing her virginity. Bong-sun finally catches the eye of her crush, Sun-woo, when the former changes into a confident, dynamic woman when Soon-ae possesses her. I am actually rooting for Bong-sun but there are more interactions between Sun-woo and Soon-ae that you would be wondering whether Sun-woo fell for Bong-sun or Soon-ae. Like!
Would have been better if Bong-sun learns more spiel than simply saying "Oh, chef..."
Bad Guys
Already had appointment with my dentist for my regular check-up. By 10AM, I am already at her clinic, Catipon Dental Clinic.
Learned again something new. Need to relax my mouth's muscles for it affects my chewing tooth. And to do that, touch your tongue to behind your upper teeth, close your mouth and open/ part your teeth. Another is to be sure to cut your food to pieces to help your chewing teeth.
After, went to Glorietta to buy food to-go at the Pancake House. If Edgar, the driver, was not able to find a parking slot infront of my dentist's clinic's building, he would be parking at Waltermart where I would be buying the food there instead. But he was able to find one. So, bought first Orahex-AF at Mercury Drug before proceeding to Glorietta.
Placed my order. Will be back to pick-up the food as I decided to go to True Value to buy a hook. Returned to "Pancake House" to pick-up my food and proceeded home.
Finally, I would be able to finish the series I am watching at Netflix. I wanted to know what will happen next, the who and the why.

A special crime team was formed headed by Detective Oh Gu-tak, a detective who got suspended due to excessive force. His team consists of
Bad Guys to work on cases and hunt other criminals which the police are unable to do so. He chose three convicts who are released in jail every time they are on a case and their sentence reduced for every case solved/ lives saved. First member is Pak Un-Cheol, a mob boss who managed to be on top of the gangster chain in 25 days. The second member is Jung Tae-soo, a once hired hit man who never make mistakes who suddenly turned himself in. The last member is Lee Jung-moon, the youngest member of Mensa but is a psychopath serial killer. With them is the ambitious Inspector Yoo Mi-young.
Action, drama and a very few comic relief keeps you glued. Questions like why these convicts were chosen, the link between them, the twists/ manipulation, etc. Luv it! It is wonderfully wrapped-up. But I would not complain if there would be a second season, and hopefully, the same characters/ actors.
Of the five, I like Jung Tae-soo.

Result: Negative.

Two Cops
Watched the last episode of Two Cops today. I wonder if there would be a Season 2?
Started the series yesterday. If only there is no work today, would have completed the series in one seating.

A dedicated violent crimes detective Cha Dong-tak finds himself cohabiting his own body with the soul of a con artist Gong Su-chang, who was put in a coma after a car chase. Su-chang's soul would be able to go back to his body if he and Dong-tak is able to solve their "web of karma". But they have 49 days to do so else Su-chang will die.
Luv it! Romance. Comedy. Action. I like the acting of Jo Jung-suk with the way he is able to portray two personalities seamlessly. #ThumbsUp 👍

Lee Ahn was saved by Kang Sung-mo (who later became a prosecutor and Ahn's guardian/ adoptive brother) by jumping from a burning building where Ahn's parents died. Ahn acquires the power of psychometry, the ability to read a person or object's past through physical contact. Ahn meets Yoon Jae-in, unknown to him is the daughter of the man who was accused of starting the fire in the building where his parents died. With Sung-mo, Sung-mo's colleague investigator Eun Ji-soo and Jae-in, they teamed-up to solve the case that has been haunting the lives of Sung-mo, Ahn and Jae-in. Luv this! Wanted to watch the series in one seating as I wanted to know what will happen and whodunnit. If only... 😷 #ThumbsUp 👍
Next, watched a movie instead. We Can Be Heroes is an American superhero film.
The heroes lost and was taken by the attacking aliens. Now, it's their kids turn to save the the world, learn teamwork led by a leader who does not have superpower herself. It's a kids movie.
Next is a horror movie The Rope Curse 2. It is a Taiwanese horror film about a Thai demon who wanted to become a human by possessing Jia-min, a female psychic. An unfinished rope ritual led to a series of suicides. Not scary.

Attended the 7AM Online Mass.
Looks like my first day of the year would be watching series from Netflix.
Finished the futmalls.com series which I started earlier. It is a Taiwanese science fiction series of three related cases/ stories.
Police Zhao Xu Zhen leads an investigation of strange cases related to a mysterious website "Futmalls.com" which sells products from the future. Fame? Future love? Beauty? Nice, huh? Not if the the price you pay is unimaginable.
Than, started with He Is Psychometric. Would have finished it in one seating if only I was not that sleepy/ tired with the binge watching.
