Pout Lingerie's Angels and Devils Fashion Show

Two of our office's camera club members with their friends created a company that organizes events. Their first project is a fashion show launching Pout Lingerie--Angels and Devils.

To support, bought tickets to watch the show. We were also allowed to take photos of the models as they walked the ramp.

Since the fashion show would start 7PM, to while the time, watched first my movie fix... Hating Kapatid. I like watching Judy Ann Santos in a comedy movie; although, she is known more for drama. It is a story of two sisters who were brought up by their grandmother because their parents have to work abroad. The twist of the love angle is caused by the Filipino trait of promising God something (e.g. leaving her boyfriend) just to grant their wish (e.g. make her sister well). Surprisingly, the love interest of the younger sister brought comedy at the table.

Then, took the MRT to meet a friend who would also watch and take photos of the fashion show.

Oh! I won a lingerie in the raffle. c",)

Scott Kelby's 3rd Annual Worldwide Photo Walk

D-Day!

I would be attending the Taguig, Philippines leg of the Scott Kelby's 3rd Annual Worldwide Photo Walk with the Tilak Hettige as the photo walk leader.

We were supposed to be at Starbucks in 3-B Building, Bonifacio High Street by 7:30AM for the registration. When my niece and I arrived, there were already many photo walkers. A few minutes later, our photo walk leader, Tilak Hettige, arrived with his daughter. Then, registration started.

While waiting for the rest of the group, those in the venue have already started bonding. Tilak, ever the good host, has been doing the rounds and talking with his photo walkers. By 8:30AM, Tilak called the group for a briefing and group picture. Then, the walk began.

The route was Bonifacio High Street to the American Cemetery, then, to Joey Pepperoni at McKinley corner 5th Avenue.

After the walk, went back home to freshen-up before going to Glorietta. Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at an Indian restaurant.

I would say that the photo walk with Tilak Hettige is a success. The group has bonded. In fact, they've been tagging, adding, etc. in Facebook left and right.

From one of Tilak's photo walkers who have friends in another photo walk, when they exchanged stories of what happened, his friends were envious of the Taguig, Philippines leg of the Scott Kelby's 3rd Annual Worldwide Photo Walk.

Check out the photos.

Night Photography

Many of our office's camera club members is clamoring to try their hand at night photography. Request heard. Two batches (ten per batch) would be at the helipad of our office's Tower in Paseo de Roxas, Makati City while one batch would be at JMT Building in Ortigas.

Of course, joined in the fun! Was part of the second batch in Makati.

Photography: Building Bridges Exhibit

The exhibit would open at 10AM. But since we finished around 3AM setting-up, woke up 9:30AM. Boy, was I fast in preparing to go the the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) at the 2/F Entertainment Hall (near Kidz Universe) where the exhibit is. Arrived at MOA around 10:30AM.

Great! The programme has not started. Already our special guests are there. A few minutes after I arrived, the programme-proper started.

Generally, I would say the exhibit is a success.

It finished around lunch time. That's when I proceeded to Glorietta, my usual haunt.

And my usual activity... movies! Decided to watch The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

A young man discovers he has a great destiny before him as a master sorcerer (Nicolas Cage) recruited him and taught him magic. Unbeknown to him, he has the bloodline of Merlin, the prime Merlinian. It was said the the prime Merlinian is the only one who can destroy Morgana. I enjoyed the movie. Don't know to those who are expecting spectacular special effects, given the concept of the movie.

After, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Pizza Hut Bistro.

Ingress

This Saturday would be the exhibit of our office's camera club. Since I joined in their activity with the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines (DSAPI), in partnership with John Chua's Photography with a Difference (PWD) advocacy, some of my photos were also on exhibit.

We would be setting-up when the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) closes. Thus, after office, first went home for dinner before going to MOA.

In order to enjoy the heavy task ahead of us, we put fun in it.

Finished the set-up around 3AM the following day.

Eclipse

Hair-pampering day.

After, decided to watch a movie. Come to think of it, its been several weekends I have not watched any.

Watched The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Series of brutal murders around Forks town have Bella choosing between vampire Edward and werewolf Jacob. What else to expect with love triangles--a lot of giggles from the audience. c",)

George Cabig's Travel Photography Workshop

Our office's camera club invited Mr. George Cabig to be the speaker during their monthly meeting. Non-members can attend; but, they have to pay a certain fee. They also have the option to become a member. Many new members joined the Club.

The South Chapter of the Club were also able to participate in the morning lecture through the first video conference with Manila.

George Cabig lectured on composition, using his images as examples. He made the talk lively with his sprinkle of jokes.

After, the group went to Harbor Square where they would have lunch at Dencio's; then, do a shoot until sunset. Joined the group but left early. I don't think we will have a good sunset that day. LOL

Went to Glorietta to catch the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Pizza Hut Bistro.

Video Conferencing

Been surfing the internet to find a way to do video conferencing. The reason? Our office's camera club has invited a speaker. We want even our provincial members to be able to listen into the talk.

These are the sites suggested to me...

It would be our camera club's meeting. The monthly photo theme would be Michael Jackson's "Heal The World".
