It is Theo, the dog, grooming day. Will also join him for I would be accompanying Lyn for her medical lab tests. We were dropped off at Hi-Precision Diagnostics Plus. After paying, left Lyn and proceeded to Glorietta while Edgar, the driver, brings Theo to Pet Express.
Checked Mercury Drug at The Link hoping that Optive Standard is already available. Nope.
Visited Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark and lunch at Chuck's Steaks and Chops at The Landmark Food Center.

Laboratory Tests
Took a leave from the office to take my laboratory tests. Already made an appointment for 11:00 AM, 2:30 PM, and 3:00 PM for my three procedures. My fourth procedure does not need to have an appointment but requires fasting; thus, should be at Makati Medical Center by 9:00 AM for the extraction. On my left hand is my (black) Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical watch, and on my right is my Apple watch.
First stop is at the Nuclear Medicine. Four vials have to be filled-up. Unfortunately, on the fourth vial, blood is no longer flowing. My arm looks like it has been bitten by a vampire...
The result of my 11:00 AM procedure is available a few minutes after the procedure. I am worried of the result. I hope it can be reversed by a lifestyle change.
My 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM result would be available on Friday.
Before proceeding home, passed by Glorietta to buy food-to-go at Mann Hann.
Was able to get the result online for blood test. Thyroid is OK. It is the blood sugar I am worried. Praying I still do not have diabetes. 🙏

Bone Mineral Densitometry with VFA
Took a leave today. Things to do today are:
- Undergo the Bone Mineral Densitometry with VFA requested by my doctor. My appointment is at 10:30 AM.
- Go to Dolores hoping to talk to the tenant. The rent should be divided between me and my sibling. The process is that a check is given to my sibling and my sibling will issue a check to me for my share. No issue with the first six months check. I have not received my share for the second six months check--and I don't think I would see it. I would request the tenant to issue two post-dated checks per month--one named to me and the other to my sibling. As guided by the priest in my last confession, there are other ways to help, not just by money. In this case, it would be a way for my sibling to avoid sin (of stealing).
At the MMC Wellness Center, it feels like they are "pampering" you. Since I was early, I was able to finish by 10:30 AM.
So off we (Edgar, the driver, and I) go to Dolores. My action today culminated from the messages between me and my sibling last Sunday. The facts, the lies. I TXTed my sibling to tell Joey to meet us. I just know the name of the tenant but I have not met him nor know his contact details.
Joey is nowhere in sight. So many assumptions are running in my head. Either my sibling did not tell him to be there, or was told to but Joey does not want to be involved, or was told to hide.
But that did not stop me. Was able to talk on the phone with the primary tenant via his mother. Thank You! 🙏
After, I went to Glorietta for a late lunch. We had our lunch at El Pollo Loco. My niece is also at Glorietta. Messaged her so we can go home at the same time. Already finished our lunch and have our coffee-to-go from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, my niece is still not done whatever it is she is doing. So I left her. Edgar will just go back to her to bring her home.

Bom Gosto! 2
A holiday; but set an appointment for a medical laboratory test. Have to fast for 10 to 12 hours for both tests.
Left the condominium around 7 AM. No traffic to Makati Medical Center due to the holiday. Blood extraction completed around 7:45 AM. Good thinkg, too, as my last meal is around 8:15 PM. 🙏
My next test is scheduled for 9:30 AM. Should be there 30 minutes before the appointment; else, I would be considered a walk-in patient. Proceeded there after buying a bottle of water. I thought my test would require that I am full of water. Nope. Good! 😆 Because if this is the case, I think I would finish around 10:30 AM. LOL
After, I would be attending the Friday Mass at Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel--it is the first Friday of June. Since I am still early for the 12:15 PM Mass, I have Edgar drop me off at Glorietta. Did some window shoppint at Nitori, and True Value. Saw a portable door lock at True Value. Bought one (as well as a travel adaptor). I think this would be helpful on my travels.
Walked my way to Greenbelt Chapel. I was able to pray the Rosary with the community.
The Mass presider is Fr. Benny.

Jesus was to entrust the leadership of the apostles and the Church to Peter. Jesus wanted to be sure he will be committed to his mission.
The condition to be a good servant is to (agape) love Him first.
After, went to Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark. It is one of the Jubilee churches. Hoping to gain a plenary indulgence and I offer it for Tita Leony.
Since it is a no-meat Friday, decided to try the Baked Bacalao of Bom Gosto! at One Ayala.

Laboratory Tests
Already have set a schedule for the two laboratory tests requested by my OB-Gyne. One at 11 AM, the other at 2 PM.
For my first test, I was there 30 minutes before the procedure (which is a requirement). It is actually a breeze. Received the result a few minutes after the procedure.
Since I have a lot of time for my next laboratory test, went to the Floating Island Restaurant for lunch where I ordered the inihaw na liempo (PhP480.00) which will take some time to prepare, plain rice, and chicken sotanghon soup (which is not in the menu). The service is rather slow, which is OK since I am in no rush and I am waiting for my niece to finish her doctor's check-up. I was able to finish my meal when my niece arrived.

My niece and I parted ways, bringing with her our "doggy bag" so that Edgar can bring it back to the condo. She would finish her business first than I would.
I remembered that there is a chapel at the
Makati Medical Center. I have been going to this hospital for years without visiting the chapel. It is on the 9th floor of Tower 1. When they do have Masses, they do it at the Ledesma Hall which can accommodate a lot of people Prayed my Precious Blood chaplet devotion there.

By 1:15 PM, on my way to the Breast Clinic. Again, I am supposed to be 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. Prayed my rosary while waiting for my turn. I was able to finish around 3 PM.
Instead of asking Edgar, the driver, to pick me up at the hospital, I decided to walk my way from there to
The Landmark. It actually took me about 25 minutes (praying the Divine Mercy chaplet on the way). Not bad. Bought some coin purses which I will use to put my rosaries (individually). Had a large ice blended double chocolate with whipped cream (
Frappuccino) at the
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf before I asked Edgar to pick me up at
Glorietta.
N.B. Both the results of my laboratory tests are good news (based on my interpretation). LOL. Thank You! 🙏

Urinalysis
Yesterday, I wasn’t able to provide the specimen. Planned to leave much, much earlier than usual so I can go to
Makati Medical Center (MMC) to try to collect for my urinalysis test. Brought my 500 ml
Aquaflask with exorcised and blessed water. Also bought two (2) 500 ml bottled water at MMC. Success! I was able to collect within an hour.
Since there is still a lot of time, I was dropped off at Glorietta instead of at the Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel. There are several pop-up stores at the Glorietta Activity Center 2. I was able to buy a key chain with a big Benedictine Medal in it. I think I can also use it as a bag charm. Will have it blessed.
There are many interesting items displayed in the pop-up stores. But focusing on spiritual warfare, there are stores that sell religious items, there are stores that sell Feng Shui items (this may be their products but they are capitalizing on the coming Chinese New Year), there are Feng Shui items with the evil eye as design, there are the Labubu dolls (demon dog), there are crystals with religious design and Feng Shui designs. One must really be careful lest you open the door for the devil to attack you.
Before proceeding to the Greenbelt Chapel for the anticipated Mass, passed by The Landmark to buy spoons and forks. Also checked for an AM/ FM Radio with Bluetooth at Anson's which is inside The Landmark. It is out of stock. Will check other stores after the anticipated Mass.

This Sunday is Sunday of the Word of God. It is a stern reminder on how we relate to the Word of God--the right attitude towards the Word of God.
How food gives nutrition to our body, the same is true for the Word of God.
- GROW in the Word. Grow in the knowledge in the Scripture. Ignorance of the Scripture is ignorance in Jesus Christ. During the pandemic, it is when we learned what is essential.
- GLOW by the Word. Seek to highlight the presence of God in our life. The Word of God is a double edged sword. It is impossible for us not to be touched by the Word if we are serious in learning the Word. Keep the Word of God alive--we need to pass it on.
- GO into the Word. Incarnate the Word by living it in our lives.
After the Mass, I went to Anson's at The Link. The AM/ FM Radio with Bluetooth is also not available.
I will buy my food-to-go before going to
SM Appliance to check the availability of the radio. This time, it would be
Peri-Peri. My sauces are Cajun Remoulade, Sweet Soy, and Hoisin Sesame.
And the radio, it is also not available at SM Appliance.
Continuing the blog at home, there are fireworks that are being set off. I wonder why?

Laboratory Test, Friday Mass and Secret Recipe
Took a leave today to take the laboratory tests requested by my doctors. I need to fast for ten to twelve hours. My last meal is at 10:30PM so that I will have enough buffer when I leave the condo around 9AM to Makati Medical Center.
I thought it will just be a breeze; did not know I need to have a urinalysis test. So, bought three (3) 500ml water, hoping to force me to pee. Unfortunately, it was not the case. Perhaps if they requested for a stool test? LOL
Since I don't think I would be able to give a specimen without being late for the Friday Mass, decided to give the specimen tomorrow instead. Was dropped off at Glorietta so I can check the pop-up stall of myjourneyph. Was able to buy three (3) St. Christopher and Our Lady of Highway clip for my Avanza, my HR-V and for my niece's car. Will have it blessed.
Interestingly, met one of their customers who are asking how their products are made, where they buy the materials, etc.--spiritual warfare concerns. I butted in telling him to check the design itself to know. He said he doesn't know what to look for. So, I explained the things to check for in the Miraculous Medal as well in the Benedictine Medal. Learned he has an exorcist friend. Also his sister has cancer and is now confined at Makati Medical Center. Will pray for her. Before I left, gave him a bottle of exorcism oil. He also knows about Fr. Darwin Gitgano, an exorcist from Bohol.
Walked quickly to Sto. Niño de Paz Greenbelt Chapel. The community praying the rosary is about to start. Left the religious items on the table for the blessing later after Mass and proceeded to my seat.
The Mass presider is Fr. Marthy. He started his homily by asking why we are there attending the Mass. He said it is because we are called. Remember the grace of God for (us) being called.
Jesus called, summoned those who He wanted. It is intentional. Inspite of our sinfulness, inadequateness. Just because we are called, we should not be comfortable that we are already saved because Judas was also chosen. If you have forgotten who you are, you betray the Lord.
He added, after Mass, preach the love and mercy of God.
Another interesting thing happened. The blessing Fr. Marthy gave to our religious items is an exorcism and a blessing. 🙏
For late lunch, went to Secret Recipe at One Ayala, I will try their Pan-Grilled Fish Cutlet with Lobster Sauce (PhP475.00). Did not finish it and have my left-over packed so I can bring it home.
Passed by Mary Grace to buy a mini chocolate cake before proceeding home.
Of course, placed the exorcised and blessed sacramental in the Avanza.

Full Abdomen Ultrasound With Fibroscan
I am scheduled for a full abdomen ultrasound with Fibroscan at Makati Medical Center (MMC) at 9AM. Should be 30 minutes before my procedure. Was there at 8:20 AM. 😀
Upon registration, I as advised that I could start drinking water. I already brought my 500 ml tumbler. I finish 500 ml every 15 minutes. That means, I was able to drink 1.5 liters of water before my name was called.
Since I finished early, decided to attend the Friday Mass at Greenbelt Chapel. I was able to finish my Precious Blood chaplet devotion while at MMC. Prayed the St. Gertrude chaplet at the chapel while waiting for the Mass. Was able to pray the rosary as a community.
The Mass presider is Fr. Godwin. Since it is the Feast of Saint John, Apostle and evangelist, the homily is about the saint.
Five things Saint John can teach us:
- John helped us see the reality of incarnation—the Word became man. For a person to love, he must be visible, felt.
- John showed us the reason why Jesus came “I came so that you may have (fullness of) life,
- On how we can experience life. Jesus’ command to love (during the last supper). They are known as followers of Jesus on how they love.
- We should be present even in suffering or pain. Faithfulness of John with Mana Mary on the cross. If we have love, we should be willing to remain.
- If we love someone, we believe that person. John saw the empty tomb and he believed.
For lunch, went to Kenny Rogers Roasters where I ordered the Grilled Fish plate with two sides. Friday is fasting and abstinence. Since there are lots of people (even it is already late for lunch), it took a lot of time before I was able to get my food.

Lab Test
Finally, the medical lab test I was supposed to take yesterday pushed thru. I'm a bit worried as it took them some time to complete my blood extract. This is not usually the case.
Since still early, decided to stay at The Landmark food court while waiting for the malls to open at 10AM. Playing around with my new Chromebook while doing so. Will buy a bag as I don't think it will be comfortable carrying it by hand all day. I wanted a quilted one.
At Glorietta, asked the Customer Service for the Halo store. It is no longer in the mall. Went to SM and proceeded to the baby and children section where I was able to buy a small, quilted tote bag. Decided to check One Ayala since there is a connecting bridge between SM and One Ayala. It used to be the Hotel Intercontinental. They built a mall with a bus terminal on the ground floor. A win-win situation as it provides foot traffic for the mall and comfort for passengers waiting for a ride And being an Ayala mall, simple sophistication.
Proceeded to Greenbelt Chapel for the Friday Mass at 12:15PM.
After, checked The Landmark department store and was able to find a quilted bag with zipper (and on sale). The one I bought at SM does not have a "lock" that I am afraid if I do not put down the bag properly, the Chromebook might fall out.
Had a late lunch at Kenny Roger's Roasters before proceeding home.
