Breaking Dawn
A holiday. And my usual practice, I do my Christmas shopping on this day--usually, my gifts for the kids. Good excuse to tick off the names in my list.
First stop is
The Landmark for the toys. The trick in buying toys for kids... if you also feel like playing with it, the one who will receive it will also enjoy it. (wink). Also have the gifts wrapped at the department store.
Then went to
Bench at
Glorietta 5, where I bought the rest of the items.
And for me... a movie!
Since my niece gave me a copy of the Part 1, now I can watch
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. With the birth of Renesmee and with Bella now a vampire, the Volturi now plans to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens in thinking that Bella's and Edward's daughter is an "immortal child".
After the movie, picked-up the items I have wrapped at the The Landmark and proceeded home.
Testing Its Mettle
Since I have not watched the Part 1, decided not to watch the Part 2. Better to understand you, my dear...
So spent the afternoon at
Food Choices (while waiting for the start of the anticipated Mass) downloading images from
Multiply and posting them in
Facebook.
Hayyy... still prefer Multiply. Put my MacBook thru the works, with my Samsung Galaxy Tablet as hotspot.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Luk Yuen.
Registration
Decided to buy a magic mouse. Thus during lunch break, decided to go to
Power Mac at
Greenbelt. Alas, start of the registration of Canon Photomarathon 2012-Manila Leg is 12 noon and many photographers are already on watch because of the limited slot.
What to do, what to do?
Registered at Power Mac. LOL

For two days, no computer in the office for it has to be reformatted. Good thing, before leaving the office, my office PC is "alive and kicking". Yey!
And also picked this up...
Wreck-It Ralph
My movie weekend. But first, bought Cloud 9 cake at
Claudette's.
My movie is
Wreck-It Ralph. Ralph is the villain of the classic arcade video game Fix-It Felix. Tired of being the bad guy, Ralph tries his luck in getting the hero medal in other electronic games. This causes the entire arcade to be threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy. Movie has a heart and preaches the importance of being yourself. Love it!
After, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Pizza Hut Bistro.
No Movie
First stop is to pay the association fees.
Had lunch at
Tokyo Tokyo.
Proceeded to my doctor for an eye check-up. Was given a supplement for my dry eyes.
Then, went to Glorietta to attend the anticipated Mass and dinner at New Bombay after.
Skyfall
My movie weekend (but in this case, my second movie for the week). But first, dropped-off the CD containing the photos I took of the Marian pilgrimage I joined last Saturday at
Greenbelt Chapel as Edwin of
Green Faith Travels requested if he can have a copy.
Then, proceeded to
Glorietta for
Skyfall.
After a mission goes wrong, James Bond was presumed dead. But he brings himself to "life" when a villain with a personal vendetta against M and MI6 surfaces. What I like about the film is it brings us back to the past... giving a glimpse of James Bond. Like! (even if I don't have a facebook account).
Then, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Pizza Hut Bistro.
Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles
Rather curious about the Filipino film touted to be shot in front of a green screen and used a lot of special effects. Since it is only shown around 5PM, decided to watch
Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles today so that I would not miss the anticipated Mass tomorrow.
Makoy (Dingdong Dantes) travels to a remote town in hoping to win back his pregnant girlfriend. But this reunion is put to a halt by monster eating babies. I don't find it scary with the injection of humor brought by Nestor (Joey Marquez) and Fely (Janice de Belen), the parents of his girlfriend, and Bart (Ramon Bautista). Definitely, not bad!
All Saints Day
Woke up early as we will be visiting my
Nanay's eldest sister in her resting place at
Manila Memorial Cemetery. Left the house with Nana around 4AM with Manong as our driver. On our way to
Sgt. Mariano Public Cemetery where my parents are laid to rest, stopped by
Chowking for our very early breakfast. Usually it is
McDonald's but our usual place has been closed.
Lighted some candles, left some flower and said a short prayer. Then proceeded home to rest.
Went back again to Sgt. Mariano after lunch, around 2PM, this time with my nephew (and Manong).
