Expired Instax Films
Checked my stock of Instax films. All are expired! I wonder what the images would look like. Thus, decided to bring my
Instax Mini 90. Took selfies while walking by the Dela Rosa elevated walkway. Not bad.
Decided not to watch a movie but buy items I would bring for the trip--masks, vitamin C and shades! Hope by the time my niece and I go to Hong Kong, the killer influenza has been contained. Been reading up on how to prevent from catching the flu--wear masks and eyeglasses, always wash hands. And the tip of Singapore government when they had the SARS and MERS CoV, at least 1000mg of Vitamin C.
Had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices. Bought masks and Genteal drops at
Mercury Drug. Went to
LTO Renewal Center in case my driver's license is already available---not. Dessert at
Baskin Robbins. Looked for shades.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Phobac. Bought emergency light and groceries including Fern-C and liquid soap at
The Landmark before proceeding home.
Hair
Already set an appointment. But first, brunch of Eggs Ben at
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Hair-pampering day. Went to
Menage Premiere Salon (formerly Chronicles Salon).
Decided not to have lunch since already ordered
merienda at
Yellow Cab for delivery at home around 3PM. Just bought a Globe nano SIM for my new phone before proceeding home.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
First stop is
Maxicare at
Makati Medical Center. Was referred to Dr. Rowena Genuino.
Took a taxi to
Glorietta where I plan to spend the day before the anticipated Mass. Bought discounted movie ticket for
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Today, plan to buy amenities I would be using for may scheduled vacation. Have already booked a ticket for Samar (we were invited by friends we met in the European tour I joined) and for Hong Kong.
Had lunch at
The Landmark's food court. Was thinking of buying the
Fujifilm Instax Square SQ10. Would it be in Hong Kong or here? Already booked tour packages in Hong Kong--Disneyland, Macau and Lantau Island. Besides, I would feel comfortable buying electronic items here for the warranty. So looked if it is already available. And it is! Think...
Back to my movie. Special operatives Valerian and Laureline were tasked to identify the dark force that threatens Alpha, a vast metropolis and home of a thousand planets. Sci-fi, action with humor, great visuals. Just for the performance of Bubbles, the movie is a must-watch.
Then bought the
vivo Y53. Was thinking of buying the
Discover Hong Kong Tourist SIM for 5 days, and I do not want to touch my iPhone for it (there's no internet only SIM just like Singapore where I can use my WiFi modem). Will use this new Android phone if I need to call locally in Hong Kong as well as use it as a hotspot.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Bistro Ravioli. Since the driver would be late to pick me up, decided to buy already the Instax SQ10 at
Henry's Professional. Last stock. Paid in cash to get a discount. The staff suggested that I look for Doray when I told them I plan to put a screen protector for the camera's LCD.
Bought groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.
Wish Upon
Walked to
Ayala Center.
Decided to watch
Wish Upon. Given the screening time, will have to eat my lunch inside the cinema. Bought a discounted movie ticket, to-go at
Wendy's then to my movie.
Teenager Clare gets an early birthday gift from his dad, who found an old music box supposedly who grants seven wishes to its owner. Too late, she discovers there's a bloody price for every wish she asks for. Not scary.
After, window-shopped. Was able to buy a solar powered dynamo USB powered AM/FM
radio good for emergency at
True Value, which is on sale.
Attended the anticipated Mass. Then, we had dinner at
Phobac, dessert at
Baskin Robbins and grocery at
The Landmark. Passed by
Pet Express before proceeding home.
Treatment
Last week, whenever I stand up, my lower back aches but pain is gone as soon as I walk. Decided to do my treatment today. As soon as the mall opened, went to
KARADA for my treatment.
And as usual, my lunch is at
Bistro Ravioli. I am not supposed to drink something cold after four (4) hours of treatment. Bought a small
bilao of
pancit luglug from
Razon's and a Chickenjoy bucket from
Jollibee for our
meryenda before proceeding home.
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Already made an appointment with my dentist, so went to
Catipon Dental Clinic for my 10AM appointment. Was early by 15 minutes but there are already many patients. The tooth-filling in my molar tooth was chipped that it has to be replaced. Also had my teeth cleaned. Was nice about my dentist is that he has a good sense of humor.
Finished early, I would be able to watch a movie. And it would be
Spider-Man: Homecoming. Bought a discounted movie ticket, had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices after my movie, and dessert at
Baskin Robbins. Since I have time before my movie, ticked-off some items in my list: made reservation at
KARADA for tomorrow, magnetized tip Phillips screwdriver at
True Value, catalog brown envelope at
Office Warehouse in
The Landmark.
After "fighting" alongside Iron Man against Captain America, Peter Parker is excited for his next mission--to the point of resigning from his clubs in school so that he would be ready when "called". For the meantime, he is "your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man". During his watch, he witnessed a bank robbery using out-of-this world weapons. Doing his own investigation, he come a cross villain Vulture. Love the appearance of Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.,) as Peter's mentor. "If you're nothing without this suit, then you shouldn't have it." Luv this version of Spider-Man! #ThumbsUp
Attended the anticipated Mass, had dinner at Pancake House and bought groceries at The Landmark's supermarket.
Operation
Visited Vangie, my brother's secretary, at
Makati Medical Center. She was scheduled for 1PM to be operated on for her stage 2 breast cancer. Missed her by 10 minutes. Will visit her again with my "angels" after my anticipated Mass.
Instead of walking, took a taxi to
Glorietta. Must be the heat that I feel I'll be tired walking. Decided not to watch a movie. Had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices, dessert at
Baskin Robbins, bought long-nosed plier at
The Landmark's hardware section, inks for my Canon printer at
CompLink, lemonade at
Jack's Lemonade then to Glorietta 5 for the anticipated Mass. Noticed whenever I drink lemonade, I "move". Hope that's healthy. Weh!
After the anticipated Mass, had dinner at
Bistro Ravioli. Was supposed to be picked-up at The Landmark with my "angels". Lo! My niece also joined. Since I received an SMS message that Vangie is still in the recovery room (was advised earlier she would be at the recovery room for two hours), I have them have dinner at The Landmark's food court. Bought groceries and proceeded back to Makati Medical Center to visit Vangie. For someone whose been operated on, she never stopped talking. LOL. Pray that her biopsy will show that she does not need to undergo chemotherapy.
