18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, Day 2
Woke up really early as we are hoping to be at the site of the
18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta by 5PM.
When we arrived, there were already lots of people, We just followed where they are walking to. LOL. It's because it is the first time for me and my friends to attend this event.
We were able to witness how the balloons are prepared for lift-off.
The Philippine Flag jump...
And I consider one of the highlights of the event, the Breitling Jet Team Fly-By...
We decided to go back to
Montevista Villas, rest and check-out. We'll be back again around 4:30PM to watch the Hot Air Balloon Fly-In. And maybe the first part of the OPM Concert.
We had our lunch at
Binulo. Then, we proceeded to
Nayong Pilipino. We were able to witness a cultural show.
After, proceeded to the site of the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. Everything went smoothly but just have a feeling that the Hot Air Balloon Fly-In won't take place on schedule. As learned this morning, the cool air will help the hot air balloons to lift off. And it is not that cold.
Waited for some time until we finally decided to leave.
We had our dinner at
Razon's in North Luzon Expressway.
Thank You, God, for blessing us with good weather to witness the 18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta!
18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, Day 1
Decided to take a leave. For one thing, cannot find a time to go to my doctor to show her the results. Second, we will be leaving around 5PM to Clark for the
18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon.
So, went to
Makati Medical Center to go to my doctor. Was early to set the appointment. Had breakfast at
Pancake House located in the hospital. Then just spent the time waiting for the doctor's clinic to start. My lunch is
Fruitas' pineapple-mango shake.
After, proceeded home to continue my packing. Left the house at around 4:15PM to Philippine Airlines'
Data Center Building (DCB), our meet-up venue. Left DCB around 6PM and was met by traffic on the way. Oh! Downloaded MMDA's mobile app. LOL.
We had our dinner at
Chow King in one of North Luzon Express Way's gas station.
Finally, we found
Montevista Villas (Telephone Number (045) 599-7000) at Mimosa Leisure Estate, Clarkfield, Pampanga, where we would be staying the night. #ThumbsUp
February Celebrants
It is my birthday treat to the February celebrants. Our usual venue is at the
SM Mall of Asia.
Our birthday lunch is at
Gerry's Grill, after watched a movie. Since time is our main consideration, it would be
A Good Day To Die Hard again for me. c",)
A Good Day To Die Hard
It is our office's camera club activity. It would be a photo walk at the
Manila American Cemetery and Memorial.
But first, brought my car to
Ziebart for its annual rustproofing and diamond gloss.
Was a bit late but was able to give to the group their "assignments" while at the MACM.
After, had late lunch at
Chic-Boy and was able to catch a movie--
A Good Day To Die Hard.
A heroic police officer, John McClane, flies to Russia when he learns that his wayward son, Jack, is accused of killing. As the story progresses, he learns that his son is a CIA agent. Since he is already there, John on vacation teams up with his son to take down terrorists plotting to steal a nuclear arsenal. Of course, like any Die Hard movies, it's action.
After, attended the anticipated Mass and had diner at
Super Bowl of China.
Mama
My movie weekend.
But first, my checklist:
(a) Bring car for check-up.
(b) Buy
pancit for my brother's secretary's birthday.
(c) Buy prescription z/d for Tsubasa.
(d) Have entries for "It Has To Be Red" printed.
My movie is
Mama, a horror, mystery film, about two girls found in a house in the middle of the forest, left alone for five years. Their uncle, who never stopped looking for them, took custody of them; but unknown to the uncle and his girlfriend, the girls brought something with them from the house in the forest. The movie will get you hooked as you do not know what will happen next. Even in the last minutes of the film. Thumbs-up!
After the movie, attended the anticipated Mass.
Transcend WIFI SD Card
Can't get my mind off it; thus, went back to
Glorietta for the
Photoworld Asia 2013. But first, Eggs Ben breakfast from
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Here's the first photo I took using the
WIFI SD Card... the guys who sold me the item. LOL
Met up with a friend who is planning to have her camera and lens cleaned. Also, took (and submitted) photo for today's theme for Canon's Shoot & Print Photo Contest "Green".
Chinese Zodiac
My movie weekend. But first, dropped by one of the booths of the
Photoworld Asia 2013 at
Glorietta to buy a CF card on sale. Found that there is a Wifi SD card. Hmmm... Definitely, cheaper than buying a Wifi-capable camera. Will have to bring my Canon G10 if it is compatible.
Had lunch of
Go Greek!'s Lamb Chop Platter at
Food Choices; then, off to my movie--
Chinese Zodiac.
JC, a mercenary treasure hunter, was hired to find a set of bronze heads that once adorned a Chinese palace. With a promise of a bonus when he finds the head of the dragon. A cheap trick. Action, fun, and the charisma of Jackie Chan rolled into one.
After, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Italianni's.
