I was then dropped-off at

Wendy's.

Since I have an issue with my Beoplay A1 after updating it, decided to inquire at
Bang & Olufsen at
Greenbelt 5. Was advised that their service center is at EDSA Shangri-La Plaza. Will go there next Saturday...
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel at
The Landmark. We had dinner at
Luk Yuen, bought groceries, and proceeded home.
National Heroes Day
A holiday. As usual, I'll be at my favorite mall.
My lunch is at Mexicali. Will not be watching any movie. Went around Glorietta and SM Makati. A good excuse to meet my daily step goal. 😀
Burial
It is Tita Leony's burial. Even with heavy rain, will pay my last respects. With me is Lyn, Edgar's son Luis and Edgar the driver. After the mass at
Veronica Funeral Parlor, we would be proceeding to
Sgt. Mariano Cemetery.
Was wondering why it was taking so long for the priest to arrive. I asked Edgar to go to
Sta. Clara Parish Church to check. The priest was waiting for a long time for someone to pick him up! Also, learned later, no one from Tita Leony's relatives informed the staff of the funeral parlor that the burial is today! Good thing there was still a hearse available since there are usually a lot of burial scheduled on Saturdays.
When the funeral procession convoy arrived at the cemetery, there was an ankle high water. Sorry but I don't have my flood boots on and I am afraid to catch leptospirosis--and I don't want those with me to get them, too.
For
pagpag, we ate at the food court of
The Landmark. After, they left me there for my usual Saturday mall stroll.
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in The Landmark, supper at
Phobac, bought groceries before proceeding home.
Lab Test
Took a leave to take my medical laboratory tests—blood extraction, urinalysis and ultrasonograpy of the whole abdomen with liver fibroscan.
Went to Makati Medical Center for my tests. After the test, had my lunch at Pancake House in the hospital.
Walked my way to Glorietta via the Dela Rosa elevated walkway. Would be watching a movie. Upon reaching Glorietta, decided to try the recently opened FRNK Milk Bar. Chose their version of brown sugar milk tea. Not really that exciting.
My (discounted) movie is Angel Has Fallen. Secret Service Agent Mike Banning is framed for the attempted assassination of the President and must evade his own agency and the FBI as he tries to uncover the real threat. As expected of this series, there are lots of action. What is nice is they show the lead as human (not an action hero who does not seem to get hurt).
Had my milk tea fix at Serenitea before proceeding home.
Teeth
A holiday.
Made an appointment with my dentist. Since it would be after lunch, went first to
Glorietta. Had my early lunch there before going to my dentist (
Catipon Dental Clinic).
After, went again to Glorietta to do some window-shopping. Went to
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel at
The Landmark before proceeding home. Started a novena for Tita Leony yesterday.
Wake
Learned that Tita Leony passed-on yesterday. Her wake will be at the
Veronica Funeral Parlor. Thus, after office, will be going there.
Have asked Edgar to buy a Mass card for her. When I was picked-up from the office, my two nieces are already there so that we can proceed immediately to the wake.
I will be attending the burial on Saturday.
For pagpag, we went to the Pancake House at Paseo de Magallanes before proceeding home.
Retention Divine Fury
Would be availing of the retention plan for one of my mobile phones. Since the store is only at
Greenbelt 1, went there. Good, too, that the movie I wanted to watch is being shown on said mall.
So, bought first the discounted movie ticket for
The Divine Fury, then went to
The Sun Shop. Have processed my retention plan; but, will pick-up the "free" mobile phone after my movie.
Yong-hoo, a martial arts champion, gains divine powers to fight with a powerful evil force. Action-packed. Odd that even with his divine powers, he has to fight. Hehehe! Basing it on the ending of the film, there will be a sequel.
Attended the anticipated Mass at Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in The Landmark. We had dinner at Chili's Grill & Bar for a birthday treat!
After buying groceries, proceeded home.

First stop is to buy a discounted movie ticket for

The Landmark Food Center for lunch before my movie. And for my milk tea fix, went to
Serenitea.
A group of teens stumbled upon Sarah Bellow's spooky home. As a release from her tortured life and horrible secrets, Sarah turns to writing scary tales. For a horror movie, the film is fun as each tale which affected each of the teenagers are solid.
After the movie, went window-shopping from
Glorietta,
The Landmark and
Greenbelt.
Before proceeding home, passed by
Pet Express and
SM Hypermarket.
Hello, Love, Goodbye, Rain
Will do a movie marathon. One is a Filipino movie both my niece is raving about, the other is about a dog. Hehehe!
Bought discounted movie tickets for
Hello, Love, Goodbye and for
The Art Of Racing In The Rain. As an afterthought, I would say good decision watching these movies.
"Hello, Love, Goodbye" centers on Joy and Ethan who are Filipino workers based in Hong Kong. Inspire the movie title as a giveaway, the movie is much more as it also tackles the issues which plague our overseas Filipino workers. I would think that many would like a part 2 of the movie, but I prefer to leave it us such.. making it a classic.
"The Art Of Racing In The Rain" follows Enzo, a dog owned by race card driver Denny and Swift, who reflect about his relationship with his human family. Like!!!!

The usual is to fill-up the tank with gas for my car to enjoy the PhP2.00 discount per liter on weekends.
Was then dropped-off at
Glorietta. Bought discounted movie ticket for
Fast & Furious presents Hobbs & Shaw. Before my movie, ate lunch at
Wendy's.
