Mexicali
Hair-pampering day.
Since it was raining, requested Edgar the driver to drive me to
The Link to go to
Coco Grace Salon. Already made an appointment.
After, had lunch at
Mexicali and milk tea fix at
Serenitea.
Food Choices Re-Opening
Went to
Pet Express at
SM Mall of Asia hoping to buy the favourite dog treat of Tsubasa and Theo. Pack 'N Pride is also not available here.
I was then dropped-off at
Glorietta where I did some window-shopping. That is when I noticed that it would be the re-opening of
Food Choices. Classy!
Unfortunately, Mongolian Quick Stop and Razon's is no longer there...
Instead, tried the
Fatfook at
Glorietta 1. It is okay. If I wanted a Xiao Lang Bao, I would eat it here.
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in
The Landmark and we had dinner at
Pancake House.
Bought groceries at The Landmark Supermarket before proceeding home.
Medical Test
Usually count the days after the first day of my monthly period for the series of tests. Already took one last Saturday, the other one is scheduled for today. Already made my appointment. Also took my leave from the office
Went to
Makati Medical Center for my medical test. Will able to get the result by Saturday. After, was dropped off at
The Landmark where I had my lunch in its food center. Then, window-shopped.
Decided to watch a horror movie but have to leave the cinema in the middle of the movie because I have to join a conference call.
Hayyy....
So, after the call, I was picked-up by the driver to proceed home.
Diamond Stud Earrings
Every Saturday, I usually fill-up my car/s with gasoline at
Petron because it is PhP2.00 off per liter.
Then, went to
Catipon Dental Clinic to have my teeth checked and cleaned (prophylaxis).
After, walked my way to
Ayala Center.
Was thinking of treating myself with a diamond stud earrings. Lost mine because of the fire (although, I know that my pearls were stolen because of the fire). So, went to
Ocampo's Jewelry Shop. Was able to buy one on sale. Nice!
Window-shopped until I was picked-up to go to
Makati Medical Center to have my laboratory test. I asked Edgar the driver to wait for me so that as soon I am finished, he can drop me off at
The Landmark so I can attend the anticipated Mass.
There were lots of patients and it took sometime. And the result if good. Thank You!!!
Just in the nick of time, I am able to attend the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother Hope Chapel.
Had dinner at
Phobac, bought groceries at
The Landmark Supermarket before proceeding home.
Far From Home
Went to
Honda Makati to pay the balance for the replication of my HR-V's keys.
I was than dropped-off at
Glorietta. Would be watching
Spider-Man: Far From Home. Bought discounted movie ticket and had lunch at
Wendy's.
After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man was expected to step up his game as new threats to the world crops up. Like.
While window-shopping, was able to buy a bracelet with the Miraculous Medal as charms at
Silverworks.
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in
The Landmark, dinner at
Phobac and bought groceries at The Landmark Supermarket before proceeding home.
Senior Birthday
Among us friends of ex-PAL-ers, I was the only one invited on her birthday party. We met her because we always attend the anticipated Mass. Senior citizens are rather sensitive; thus, by hook or by crook, will attend her birthday.
Already bought the gift yesterday. The party is at
Buffet 101 in
Glorietta. Friends who also attends the anticipated Mass were there (aside from her family and relatives who even flew from the United States).
JBL Clip 3
Walked my way to
Glorietta via the Dela Rosa elevated walkway, stopping by
Tito Pak's for lunch.
Will not be watching a movie but instead buy the following:
a) Gift for Ate Mila. She's the senior citizen lady who will be celebrating her 80th birthday tomorrow. It would be at Buffet 101. Do not have the heart to decline because every time I hear those she invited decline, you can see her face go sad. Bought a scarf from
Anna Pashmina Shawls.
b) JBL Clip 3. Wanted a speakerphone. JBL Clips 3 is supposed to have 10 hours battery life. My current JBL Clip+ can carry only a couple of hours and I wanted to replace it. I already promised to "give" the JBL Clip+. It (JBL Clip 3) is no longer available in the
JBL Pop-Up Store (which is on sale).
The Landmark and
Rustan's have it at its original price. When I went to
SM Makati, it is on sale. Bought it.
Of course, have my milk tea fix from
Serenitea.
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in The Landmark, dinner at
Pancake House, bought groceries at The Landmark supermarket before proceeding home.
Last Night
It would the last night wake for Vangie in Manila. She would be flown tomorrow in Samar where she will be laid to rest. Arranged that a Mass be made for her, ordered at Amber's Restaurant for
meryenda who went her wake.
The Mass will be at 7:30PM. Good thing there is no traffic that we were at Veronica Funeral Parlor by 6:30PM. Have Edgar, the driver, with his wife Bing, to fetch the priest. Originally, if we were late, Bing would be the one who will fetch the priest and they will take a tricycle ride. My Magic Carry Oke+ was put to good use. No one volunteered to be the reader, so I did. After the Mass, Edgar brought the Monsignor and his assistant back to the church.
What Edgar ordered is good for 10 people; but because the paper plate bought is the size of a
platito (translation: saucer), the food is enough for about 50 people (a package contains about 50 paper plates). Hehehe!
For
pagpag, we went to
The Aristocrat.
