Chargers
Because of the battery-operated candles I have been buying left and right, was thinking of buying another charger. Been surfing the internet and was thinking of buying an
Ansmann charger. Remembered seeing one at
True Value.
So walked my way to
The Landmark. Planning to buy more rechargeable batteries, but the 2700mAh is not available. So, had Mongolian lunch instead at
Food Choices.
Then, went to True Value. Was hoping to buy the
Ansmann Battery Charger Powerline 8. But it is not available. They only have is the
Powerline 5 Zero Watt and
Energy 8 Plus. Was advised that
Ace Hardware also sells Ansmann battery chargers. So off I went. They only have the Energy 8 Plus and it is out of stock. Decided to buy the Powerline 5 Zero Watt instead; thus, went back to True Value.
Tita J and I were supposed to meet at 2PM. Since, she's late, went to
Mercury Drug first to buy Genteal drops.
Left my purchases at The Landmark's package counter and proceeded back to Glorietta to attend the anticipated Mass.
Had supper at
Phobac after the Mass.
Since there's still time, browsed at The Landmark. That's when I saw a charger that also charges a standard alkaline battery. Really?! So bought the
Fujicell Alkaline battery charger. Still have to test it but it worked fine for rechargeable batteries.
Bought groceries before proceeding home.

Battery chargers:
Ansmann battery charger Enery 8 plus,
Ansmann battery charger PhotoCam IV,
Powerex MH-C800S.
Two Masses
Will be attending the Sunday Mass at
Glorietta.
Since the mall is still closed when I arrived, went to
Mercury Drug to wait for the mall to open. While on the way to Mass, passed by the store where I usually buy religious items. One of my rosary bracelets was broken and left it there to be repaired.
After the Mass, picked-up my bracelet and proceeded to
Greenbelt Chapel for the act of reconciliation. I was asked to attend the Mass ASAP. Huh?! So, ate lunch first at
The Landmark's food court and attended the Mass at
Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel. The Mass is quite solemn. Nice.
Lenten Pilgrimage of Faith and Heritage in Batangas
Would be joining the pilgrimage arranged by
Green Faith Travels. Would be alone as my usual companions would not be joining.
Meet-up is at
McDonald's Greenbelt. It's a 4AM registration and 4:30AM departure. Was able to arrive before the scheduled departure. Should have been at the back of the bus (was assigned to Bus #1) but one pilgrim won't be able to make it; thus, took his/her seat.
On the way to
St. Padre Pio National Shrine at Sto. Tomas, stopped at a gasoline station to pick-up more pilgrims. We also prayed "A Pilgrim's Prayer" and the rosary.
"Loving Father, be our Guide and Companion on this Lenten pilgrimage.
May we delight in everyone we shall meet and recognize Your presence in our encounter with people who may at first be strangers to us.
Bless our visit to seven churches so that on Your Holy Ground we may be able to hear Your voice speaking to us in the silence of our heart.
Grant us Your mercy and love in this journey of renewing our faith and rediscovering Your presence and work in our life.
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so we will have a burning instinct only for You. Remove all obstacles that block the flow of Your grace in our life. Heal us from our brokenness and forgive our sins.
During our journey, grant us the grace from our Blessed Mother and fill us with her virtues because she is the delight of Your heart.
May there be serenity and calm within us despite disappointments and moments of inconvenience. Whatever comes our way, help us to carry on with a joyful heart.
We trust in Your loving providence and protection to bring us safely to our destinations without undue disturbance or worry.
And on this Holy Year of Mercy, may you embrace us with your compassion and mercy and love as we strive to renew our faith.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Our Lady Mary Mediatrix of All Grace, pray for us.
Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, pray for us.
Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, pray for us.
Saint Sebastian, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen."
We would be having our breakfast at
Batanguenas Restaurant, which is inside the Shrine's compound.

After breakfast, we went to the Divine Mercy Pilgrims Center to attend the Mass and for the blessing. Our religious items were also blessed. Also, prayed here Stations 1 to 3 of the Way of the Cross. After, we have our free time. An afterthought, should have bought more images of Padre Pio as well as novena.

St. Padre Pio National Shrine |
Next stop is the
Minim Nuns of Saint Francis of Paola at Bgy. Lumbang Lipa. There were only five nun monks: 2 Spanish, 2 Filipina and 1 South African. According to Bro. Edwin, they observe Lenten practice all year (fasting, abstinence, etc.). We prayed Stations 4 and 5.

Next church is the
St. Therese of the Child Jesus at Lipa. When we arrived there, there's a wedding. Have to wait before we can pray Station 6.

"PRAYER TO THE FATHER FOR HEALING
Heavenly Father, I call on You right now in a special way.
It is through Your power that I was created.
Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour,
I live under Your power.
Father, I ask You now to touch me with that same power.
For if You created me from nothing, You can certainly recreate me.
Fill me with the healing power of Your spirit.
Cast out anything that should not be in me.
Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells.
Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.
Let the warmth of Your healing love pass through my body to make new
any unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function.
And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body
so that I may serve You the rest of my life.
With the prayer of Mary, Mediatrix fo All Grace, I raise up these petitions,
through Jesus, Her Son and Our Lord, forever and ever. Amen."
Next stop is the
Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian (Lipa Cathedral) where we prayed Stations 10 and 11.

We then went to the
Parish of Sto. Nino at Bgy. Marawoy, Lipa where we prayed Station 11.
|

Our last stop is at
Marian Orchard at Balete where we hope we can attend the anticipated Mass (we were late; thus, go to Mass tomorrow). We prayed the last three Stations of the Cross.

Then, proceeded back to
Greenbelt where we arrived around 8PM.
Had dinner first at
Bistro Ravioli before going home.
Sono Result
Already have listed last Saturday, thus, will go to my doctor for her 1PM clinic.
First, picked-up the sonomammography result.
Distinct hypoechoic masses with suggestively benign sonographic features, bilateral. Clinical correlation and short-term follow-up by sonography after 6 months suggested to monitor stability. Simple cysts, bilateral.
BIRADS CATEGORY 3
Submitted my result and had a quick lunch. Then, went back to wait for my doctor.
Next test would be on September 2017.
IP Camera Update
The software update I did on my Sricam
SP008 and
SP015 last Wednesday night caused them to behave erratically--sometimes they are not detected in the network and the night vision is not working. Sent e-mail to their support and called their local partner. The local partner suggested that I do a reset; thus, will need to configure the cameras again. And it worked.
Then, went first to
Makati Medical Center to set a schedule for Tuesday with my doctor and was dropped-off at
Glorietta.
It's been several weeks I did not watch a movie. So decided to do so and chose
A Dog's Purpose. Bought a discounted movie ticket and had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices.
Ticked-off some items from my list before my movie: AAA rechargeable batteries; rechargeable flash light and whistle for my new "angel" in case of emergency.
Now, my movie.
"A Dog's Purpose" is based on a bestselling novel about a devoted dog finding meaning to his existence through the life of his humans. Love this--even if I shed tears several times. Actually, even those beside me, we shed tears at the same time on the same scenes. LOL
After the movie, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Gerry's Grill. Bought some groceries at The Landmark and ladder at same department store's hardware section before going home.
Vertigo
Woke up with the room rotating when I sit or stand up. Good thing, I have one Serc medicine. Took it and asked to buy more.
My niece also did not go to her office, she says "work from home".
Even sick, what I wanted done has been completed today... almost.
1) Set-up the last IP Camera, the replacement was delivered to my office yesterday. Finally, it is working fine--panning and image is not out-of-focus. I have configured it last night, ready to be mounted.
2) My Mary, Untier of Knots has been blessed.
I still have an order pending from
Lazada and was supposed to receive it today (delivered to my office). Asked an officemate to pay for it first since it's cash on delivery. Would have placed it in my nephew's room.
Still, am satisfied. Particularly, I learned yesterday that I can view my camera through my mobile phone and tablet's mobile application. Thought initially I can only use it when my devices are connected to the same network as the IP cameras. Yes!
Salubsob, Again
Taught my new "angel" how to use the juicer. Finally, have my morning anti-cancer juice! c",)
Since I already have in mind where I will put the Christ the King statue I bought, cleaned up the cabinet. So easy to just throw everything in the box for storage. Hehehe!
Norlie kindly brought the statues I bought to have blessed. I will give the Miraculous Medal statue to Vangie.
So, as soon as Norlie arrived, put my images in place. Nice. Also have my rechargeable batteries charged for my flameless candles. Asked my "angels" to open them every 6PM and just switch them off the following morning.
Then, called
St. Paul's at
SM Mall of Asia. Wanted to buy the Mary, Untier of Knots image. They have it! So rushed to buy them. Bought one big image for me, one small one for Norlie, and another small one for Edgar. Also saw the Stations of the Cross. Bought it, too. Bought also Novenas for the Miraculous Medal and for the Mary, Untier of Knots.
Since I lack flameless candles, bought again at SM Department Store.
Arranged everything as soon as I arrived home.
Unfortunately, unable to have my Mary, Untier of Knots blessed.
Then came the
salubsob.
Hay.... Have to go again to the emergency room of the
Adventist Medical Center. Now, they asked that I get anti-tetanus. That's two shots--one good for five years, the other for my current
salubsob.
Images
Walked to
The Landmark. Since planned to buy an electric fan for the one arriving today, went first to
Anson's at The Landmark. Saw one. Will have to check
SM Appliance Store.
But first, had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices. Then went to SM Makati. Hmm... will buy the fan at Anson's. Instead, bought flameless candles.
Back to The Landmark, bought the
Dowell electric fan. Left it at Anson's--will pick it up before I go home.
Then, I saw it. A Miraculous Medal statue and a Holy Trinity statue. Bought them. What really caught my eye is the Christ the King statue. Eventually bought it also. Will have them blessed.
Attended the anticipated Mass and we had dinner at
Chili's for a birthday treat. Parted ways and bought groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.
