Exercise?

Was supposed to watch Dementia or A Walk Among The Tombstones, but was late for a few minutes that if I take the next screening, I might be late for the anticipated Mass.  So, no movie for this weekend.

Had a spinach and feta cheese ravioli (what else?) at Bistro Ravioli for lunch.  Then, I remembered that my doctor asked me yesterday if I am doing exercises.  Nope.  But saw an exercise equipment at Greenbelt 1 that I decided to check it out.  Bought Ogawa's ezTone with the Mobile Seat XE as freebie.  Have it delivered at home.


Proceeded back to Glorietta for the anticipated Mass.  Had dinner at Pancake House after.


The doctor told me yesterday to take Liverprime for two (2) months for my fatty liver.

Maze Wake

Lyn would be buying a smartphone and she would be joining me in my usual mall gala.  She preferred to buy a Samsung phone and I have already searched the internet for the estimated prices of the units available in the market... the better to negotiate prices.  Weh!

Went to several stores and was able to purchase a Samsung Galaxy V.  Went to The Landmark to purchase some groceries for the house and had lunch at CafeFrance.  Then, showed Lyn where she can take the ride home.

Bought discounted movie ticket for my movie weekend, The Maze Runner.  Went to the A-Shop to buy an iPhone cable I would use to connect with my power bank.  It seems that the cable has a chip that the unit would know if the cable used is original Apple.


Based on the novel of James Dashner, those who have not read the book will find that it has lots of twists.  And based on the ending, there would be a sequel.  Since I would be curious why things are happening, I would be watching the sequel (because I won't be reading the book.  LOL)  Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of boys, with no idea what was outside and even about their past.  It is with his arrival that things in The Glade begin to change, with the "rules" set by the boys to come up with a peaceful co-existense to be broken/ challenged.

After the movie, attended the anticipated Mass and went to a wake at St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori.  Since the deceased is a member of the Knights of the Columbus, there is a programme.


For our pagpag, we had dinner at Pancake House.

Video Walk

First stop is the Makati Medical Center.  My doctor asked that I take blood test.  Was given a number for special lane.  I wonder if I should take it as an insult?  It's either they thought I was pregnant or a senior citizen.  In any case, I was served fast!  LOL  The result can be picked-up after eight (8) hours.

Decided to do a video walk along Ayala Avenue.  Done with the photo walk, this time, a video walk.


My walk ended me at Greenbelt 1.  Had lunch of spinach and feta cheese ravioli at Bistro Ravioli, this time, at their Greenbelt branch.  Went to the Sun Shop regarding the activation of the SIM.  The SIM was again replaced.  After thirteen (13) days, the SIM finally got activated.

Since there is no movie I wished to watch, just strolled around the mall until the anticipated Mass.  Then, we had dinner at Bulgogi Brothers, which now has a branch at Glorietta.

Graffiti Photo Theme

It is my camera club's monthly meeting at Intramuros and would be dropping by to submit my entries for the photo theme "Graffiti".


After, proceeded to Glorietta where I was dropped off.  Just strolled around to enjoy the air-con.  After relaxing (weh!), went to Sugarhouse to buy a chocolate truffle for the house.  Mary Grace also has chocolate truffle but I like Sugarhouse's best.

Chill

Don't know what it is about September, but most of my internet subscription (DSL, mobile internet) is having problem--SIM not activated; no dial tone thus no DSL.

Decided to drop by first at the telco shop.  The customer service agent already know me (it's my third try already) and was advised that she has followed it up everyday.  It should be OK within the day.  Right!

Just to lift the spirits, decided to take "selfie" using my Instax Mini 90 around Greenbelt.  First take is a blooper since the flash did not fire and I am backlighted.  That means, I'm a silhoutte.  Weh!

Walked my way to Glorietta where I had my lunch at Bistro Ravioli of Spinach and Feta Cheese Ravioli in Pesto Sauce.  Have my entries for the photo theme "Graffiti" printed at PixelPoint.  Checked the movies being shown.  Hmmm...  Nothing to watch.  So, just window-shopped until my anticipated Mass.


After the anticipated Mass, we had dinner at Pancake House.


Was able to get the result of my fibroscan yesterday.  Says moderate fibrosis.  This means, low fat diet and exercise.  Uh-oh!

Fibroscan

Finally, scheduled that I take the fibroscan.  Took a leave to go to Makati Medical Center for the test.

It is my first time to take the fibroscan--I wonder what it can discover?  Surfed the internet and learned that it can be used to evaluate the scarring of liver.  It measures the stiffness or elasticity of the liver.  Was afraid because in the last location of the scan, the nurse keeps on repeating the test.  Hope it is not serious.

After, went Glorietta to fix the problem of my Sun broadband SIM that is still not activated.  Went first to OtterBox to ask saleslady to remove the case first and advised her that I would be back again to request her to put the case again on my iPad mini.  Then, went to A Shop.  Jacob assisted by trying a different nano SIM in my iPad mini.  It's working.  Thus, decided to go to the Sun Shop at Greenbelt.  Was advised to replace again my SIM.  Hayyy...

While on the way back to Glorietta, passed by Globe.  Decided to get an unlimited internet (SIM only).  Addict!  Now, my iPad mini now had its own internet.  Went to OtterBox who kindly put in again the case for my iPad.

Had a late lunch at Food Choices, bought cake at Red Ribbon for the house; then, proceeded home.
