MyHealth
Went to
MyHealth after my lunch at
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Will buy
MyHealth Care Plus cards for my "angels".
Then, walked my way to
Ayala Center. Will not be watching a movie; but, instead ticked-off items on my list.
a) Laminator (to replace my broken one) at
National Bookstore
b) Stool at
True Value which is on sale
c) Hair clip at
The Landmark
d) Flaxseed at
Healthy Options
Left the items at The Landmark's package counter. Had my dessert at
Baskin Robbins.
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel at The Landmark and we had dinner at
Bistro Ravioli.
Bought groceries at The Landmark's supermarket and passed by
Pet Express before proceeding home.
Mass
Attended the 10AM Mass which will now be held at the Cinema 1 of
Glorietta 4. It used to be held at the Glorietta 4's multi-purpose hall; then, was transferred to Glorietta 5 (which is now being renovated).
After the Mass, bought a
Sheaffer ballpen at
National Bookstore and have my name etched on it; picked-up the socks I reserved at
Iconic; bought Fern-C at
The Landmark; passed by
Uniqlo at
SM Makati; before proceeding home.
Teeth
Already had a 10AM appointment with my dentist. Instead of Dr. Jay, it would be his lovely wife who would be doing the cleaning (should be done every six months). Also learned from her the following things:
a) Choose toothpaste with about 1500ppm--like Happee, Aquafresh.
b) Mouthwash first before brushing our teeth.
c) When you brush your teeth, spit--do not gargle.
d) Mouthwash with... (forgot the ingredient--which the popular mouthwashes does not like Listerine and Astring-o-sol).
Because of this, instead of going home directly, went to
The Landmark's supermarket. Hehehe! The Colgate I buy has 1450ppm--no need to switch then.
Since I am already there, decided to buy the Pacsafe luggage I intend to buy (with 15% off using my Citibank credit card). Thus, went to
Pacsafe Flagship Store at Glorietta 5. Aside from the
Toursafe EXP29 (I now have the complete set), also bought the
Vibe 350 at 15% off.
Left the items at the store, will pick them up after my lunch. Went to
Food Choices for a Mongolian lunch and went back to Pacsafe Flagship Store to pick up the items and proceed home.
As soon as I arrived, prepared to leave to attend the wedding of my nephew. Did not know it will take us about 2 1/2 hours travel. Thanks to Waze, it would have been longer. My aunt who left her house in Paranaque around 11AM arrived Tagaytay nearing 4PM.
Left the house nearing 2PM, arrived at
Ville Sommet in Tagaytay past 4PM. Used my Honda HR-V for the trip--better to have a reliable car. Have Edgar drive me to the wedding. It is a garden Born Again wedding. My nephew has to convert.
The reception is on the same venue. They have KC Montero as their host. Left before the dancing because of the long trip back. Arrived home around 10:30PM.
Hair
Already made an appointment for today. Normally, was early in my appointments. Must be being under the weather made me late (excuses).
Went to
Coco Grace Salon at
The Link for my hair pampering day.
After, had late Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices.
Passed by
Rustan's to buy gift certificate for my nephew's wedding,
Mercury Drug to buy round cotton before proceeding home.
Jeepers Creepers
Already scheduled my Honda HR-V for its free 1 kilometer check-up. That's why I have been planning activities to break it in and at least reach 1 kilometer before two months. So, brought my new car at
Honda Makati.
Then, passed by
Cityland.
Am not feeling well that I asked that I be dropped off at
Makati Medical Center to consult with the in-house doctor of
Maxicare. They already made a cut-off for the in-house doctor. They suggested I get a referral instead. That means, queue to get my referral then queue to talk to the doctor.
Called Edgar to pick me up again at Makati Medical Center for I will be going to
Patient First Medical Center at
Glorietta instead. At least, they would already queue me up to the doctor after getting confirmation from Maxicare.
Narrated all the medicines given to me to the Internal Medicine doctor I was referred to. What I am feeling has nothing to do with it. Since my phlegm is already light green, was given antibiotic that is not acidic. It would help stop any respiratory disease. Normally, the antibiotic should be taken on an empty stomach, but because of my acid reflux, will have to take it when I have eaten at lunch. Was advised to take to two tablets of Vitamin C. If my temperature reached 38 degrees, take paracetamol.
Still has time, decided watch a movie. Bought a movie ticket online for
Jeepers Creepers 3: Ravenous. The monster comes every 23 years and for 23 days kill for eating spree. I wonder how come this movie already has a third installment...
Went to Glorietta 5 to attend the anticipate Mass. Learned that Glorietta will no longer be having Mass on Saturdays because Glorietta 5 is being renovated. Although, there will be Mass on Sundays at Glorietta 4 Cinema 1. Thus, went to
The Landmark instead to attend the anticipated Mass at
Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel.
We had dinner at
Phobac and bought groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.
Diagnostic and Check-Up
Already took my leave and already made an appointment. My ultrasound test should be taken on the 3rd to 6th day of my monthly period. Decided to always make it on the 4th day.
Was early at
Makati Medical Center that I took my test much earlier than my appointment. Will just have to wait for 1PM to have the result interpreted by my OB-Gyne. So, had lunch first at
Tokyo Tokyo.
The result?
The ENDOMETRIUM has a thickness of 2.7 mm, is linear. The endometrial-myometrial junction is intact. The endometrial midline is defined.
The CERVIC measures 32.3 x 30.3 x 24.6 mm.
The RIGHT OVARY is located lateral to the uterus and measures 20.6 x 16.5 x 15,8 mm, with a volume of 2.8 cc. No follicles seen.
The LEFT OVARY is located lateral to the uterus and measures 17.7 x 21.6 x 20.5 mm, with a volume of 4.1 cc, with a few small follicles.
The CUL-DE-SAC is smooth and has no free fluid.
Multiple myoma uteri as described
Thin post-mentrual endometrium.
Normal-sized ovaries with no follicular development on the right.
Lucky, too, was among the first to be met by my doctor. It means, I would have a lot of time in my hands in the afternoon.
Walked my way to Ayala Center and do a movie marathon. A celebration? Will watch
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and
Ferdinand.
My first movie is Jumanji. Four teenagers in detention were transported to the video game world of Jumanji, playing the characters they chose. In order to get back, they must complete their mission. One word: Funny! Like.
Ferdinand is a pacifist bull who refuses to participate in bullfighting. As a child, he escaped the Casa del Toro (where bulls are bred and trained) after his father did not return after the latter's fight. He came across a loving family until he is forced to go back to Casa del Toro and be in the arena against the world's greatest bullfighter. Am not sure if Spain already banned bullfighting, and if it does, maybe this movie was inspired from it.
Last year, already not feeling well. Started with a sore throat. On the third day taking the antibiotic prescribed by our office's doctor, had acid reflux. Was given medicine by our office's doctor for the acid reflux (since my gastroenterologist has no clinic and will operate again in January). January 5, took a half-day leave to go to my gastro who gave me medicines for my acid reflux. On January 8, I have no voice. Was given medicine by our office doctor for my laryngitis.
Hay...
Zoobic Safari
ETD is 5AM. Estimated travel time is 3 hours; but since our trip is more for the break-in of my Honda HR-V, it may take longer as the speed would be between 60kph to 70kph. In the road trip is Edgar (driver), his two sons Monay and Luis, my "angels" Lyn and Vanny.
Trip is uneventful, but was fun, smooth and enjoyed the view. Thanks to
Waze, it would be hard for us to be lost. Stopped by
McDonald's along
North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) for our breakfast. We would be travelling along
Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) on our way to
Zoobic Safari.
No matter how many times I ask Luis to sleep (for us to have a few minutes of quiet time), he won't--he is too excited to sleep. Hehehe!
We reached our destination around 9:30AM or 10AM.
It is actually an independent tour, we were given a map to follow--at least we would enjoy the place without a guide hurrying us up.
I already bought two fruit baskets online so that the kids with us (and the kids at heart) would enjoy giving food to the animals. Picked them up before entering the Zoobic Park.
In time, too, we were able to catch up on the Animal Show after our Zoobic Park experience.
After the show, went to Serpentarium.
We would have to take the tram to go to the other attractions. Decided to have lunch at Buho Grill Restaurant first before taking the tram.
After our lunch, on to our next adventures.
Some of us bought souvenirs before proceeding home. We enjoyed our day at Zoobic Safari.
As expected, Luis would sleep on our trip back. We stopped at a gas station along NLEX and ate at
Chowking for our
meryenda. Fully-recharged, our chatterbox is awake again. Hehehe!
Arrived home around 7PM.
Chill
Will not watch a movie since I have already watched the Metro Manila Film Festival entries I wanted to see. Thus, just window-shopped.
Since would be going to
Zoobic Safari tomorrow, decided to buy a bucket hat--feeling a (local) tourist. Already bought tickets online to avail the 10% discount.
Attended the anticipated Mass and we had dinner at
Thai BBQ. This restaurant opened recently and we wanted to try it.
Bought groceries before proceeding home.
