Transformers: The Last Knight
Because I reported for work on a weekend, able to offset it for today. It is a very long weekend for me because of the holiday yesterday.
Went to
Maxicare at
Makati Medical Center. Was referred to a surgeon. No need to operate. Will just have to monitor if the condition improves.
Walked to
Metrobank to deposit the rent; then, walked to
Ayala Center via the Dela Rosa elevated walkway.
First stop is
Glorietta 4 Cinema's ticket counter. Bought a discounted movie ticket for
Transformers: The Last Knight. Chose the 12NN screening. Then, had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices.
Without a leader (Optimus Prime), humans became at war with the Transformers. But Cade Yeager continue to believe in them that he tries to give them safe haven. And the reason they keep coming to Earth? It all started in ancient England during the time of King Arthur and the "Staff of Merlin". Fast moving, humor, lots of action.
After, had late dessert at
Baskin Robbins before I was picked-up to proceed to
Honda Makati to pay for the repair of my car. Edgar the driver will pick it up tomorrow since the car is color-coding today.
Despicable Me 3
Walked to
Ayala Center.
First stop is the
Glorietta 4 Cinema's ticket counter to buy a discounted movie ticket for
Despicable Me 3.
Next is a Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices.
To tick-off items on my list, went to
True Value to buy a super glue,
National Bookstore for my Parker pen's refill. Then, dessert at
Baskin Robbins.
Gru and his wife were fired for failing to nab Balthazar Bratt (although they were able to save the big diamond). Add to that, Gru learns he has a twin brother, Dru, charming and more successful than him. Fun, fun, fun. What I like is in spite of all the temptations to go back to villainy and the thrill, Gru stuck to his guns. 👍
Attended the anticipated Mass, had dinner at
Gerry's Grill and bought groceries at
The Landmark.
Note to self: Although Monday is a holiday due to Eid al-Fitr, will just stay home. It is the end of Ramadan and one does not know if groups who plan to terrorize has a big plan on the last day.
Deliveries
I have made many purchases at
Lazada... mostly for home security and for health. Three would be delivered today.
But first, went to
Makati Medical Center for a doctor's check-up. Then, walked my way to
Greenbelt 5. Found that the
Mr. Beams night light I bought is pretty useful that I decided to buy more. So went to
True Home and bought again. Lucky me, the store was on sale including the item I wish to buy, which is 30% off.
Went to
Glorietta 4 Cinemas, wishing to buy a (discounted) movie ticket for
Despicable Me 3. The screening time does not fit with my schedule for I wish to attend the anticipated Mass. So, would just window-shop. Ate lunch at
Food Choices then was able to buy rechargeable batteries, medicines (as given by my doctor). Left my purchases at
The Landmark.
After the anticipated Mass, we had dinner at
Pancake House. Bought groceries at The Landmark and passed by
Pet Express to buy dog treats and food for my dog/s.
As soon as I arrived home, tested my Lazada purchases. Would have to return two of three for being defective (motion detection alarm with keypad does not detect nor sound an alarm) and performed not as advertised (intercom that is only one way).
The Mummy
Already made a reservation for my treatment. Thus, as soon as the mall opened, went to
KARADA for my treatment.
After, bought discounted movie ticket for
The Mummy and lunch at
Bistro Ravioli (I get to be able to request for warm water).
Walked to
Greenbelt 5 where the nearest
7-11 is. Have to pay for the items I bought at
Lazada via
Alipay. My purchases include a wireless doorbell with intercom and a wireless touch security alarm you can hang at the door knob (good for travel). Hehehe!
Passed by
True Home where I get to buy a
Mr. Beams Stand Anywhere Motion Detector Night Light.
An Egyptian princess, Ahmanet, who made a pact with Set, was entombed and imprisoned in Mesopotamia (Iraq). Then, present day, comes Nick Morton, a soldier of fortune, who somehow manage to release her from her prison and becoming her "My Chosen". Not scary. Lots of action.
Before going home, passed by
Mr. Quickie to have my favorite Geox sandals I am wearing repaired.
Alarm With Keypad
Walked to
Ayala Center.
Checked if I can watch a movie without being late for the anticipated Mass. Nope. Will watch on June 12, a holiday.
Ate Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices, dessert at
Baskin Robbins. Then, went to
True Value to buy the alarm with keypad I am eyeing. Good thing an officemate saw me and pointed out a similar item at half the value. I wonder why they are not placed in the same location?
Then, window-shopped.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Don Henrico's. Bought groceries at
The Landmark.
Bought a bluetooth headset for Edgar the driver at
CD-R King because of the anti-distracted driving law. And it is just PhP280.00!
Wonder Woman
Back again to the office. Good thing, was able to finish early so I have enough time to catch up on a movie.
A long queue at the ticket counter; thus, ordered my ticket for
Wonder Woman via
mPass.
Living on an island, Amazon Princess Diana and her fellow amazons are unaware of what is going on the rest of the world until pilot Steve Trevor crashed near their island. Learning of the conflict, Diana goes with Steve in hope to end the war by finding Ares. Like! It's like a Marvel movie for a D.C. Comics.
Weekend Work
And just for a User Acceptance Testing, I have to go to the office. Duh?! Usually, you do that for Production problems for clients' sake.
I was also supposed to attend a wedding. That, too, went kaput! Hmpt!
Because the issue has not been isolated, will have to go back tomorrow. Went quickly to
Glorietta to be able to attend the anticipated Mass. Then, we had dinner at
Gerry's Grill.
