Without Nana
A lot has happened this week, but will have to tick-off items on my list.
Brought the car to
Ziebart CarSavers for its annual rust-proofing, diamond gloss, internal detailing. The driver will just pick it up later.
Then, went to our office for our company's camera club. Will just observe. Did not finish it and left early.
So, had lunch at
The Landmark food court. Bought a Neoflam stockpot and Oneida nylon basting spoon. Since I promised to buy a TV for the second floor, looked for the smallest LED TV. I wonder how come most LEDs on display are so big?
I found one at
Automatic Centre. It's a Prestiz 19" HD LED TV 19CF3. And it's the cheapest I can find. LOL
Left my purchases at The Landmark's package counter.
Had two scoops of
Baskin Robbins for dessert, bought AAA rechargeable battery, medicines. Then, just before the anticipated Mass, my
kuya TXTed me that he asked Kuya Rey to make
tawas of the house. He is being paranoid with all who got sick (even not recently)--Nana's fall, Camille's illness, my pneumonia, Lily's liver cyst and Vangie's breast cyst (where she was advised to have biopsy). Said there are elementals but non-destructive. In order to avoid in attracting the negative ones, to have a radio play on the second floor every time we leave the house--at least there would be an activity. Also, leave a light on at the ground floor every night.
To appease my brother, bought an AM/FM radio at
SM Appliance Center. Will buy the timer, extension cord, octopus adapter at The Landmark's hardware.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Italianni's.
As usual, bought groceries. This time, we can actually line up at the express counter because I don't need to buy diapers for Nana.
As soon as I arrived home, set-up the AM/FM radio. It will be turned-on automatically every weekday from 9AM-12NN, 2PM-6PM; every weekend from 10AM-12NN, 3PM-6PM. Illogically, the idea is that on weekends, we would be waking up late and we'll have afternoon
siesta. Hehehe!
Then, set-up the new TV and attached the
ABS-CBN TV plus. The ABS-CBN TV plus was left at home since there is still no digital signal in Bicol.

Nana and Lily would be going home back to Bicol. Since I have a meeting in the morning, will just have to take a half-day off since their departure is still around 5PM.
On the way home, dropped-by
Goldilocks to buy some food they can bring on their trip as well our viand for the night. Bought
dinuguan. No one's gonna cook.
Upon arriving, asked the driver to buy Jollibee chicken food packs for their dinner.
They have the TV, electric fans, rechargeable fan, emergency light, baby monitor, etc. with them. This is for Nana so she will be comfortable. Also, the recently bought non-stick pan and silicon turner for Lily.
It's hard parting ways but with Nana's
apo around her, being bed-ridden will be much easier for her.

Morning, Lily is sick again and she was crying. She decided she wanted to get home. We talked. As for Nana, it will be Nana's decision if she will stay or not.
In the afternoon, I was updated that Nana decided she will go with Lily. Asked them to have Lily's youngest come over so that they will have someone with them when they travel back to Bicol.
Kuya was the one looking for a van we can hire to ferry them back home.
Check-Up After Antibiotics
First stop is at
Honda to bring my car for its preventive maintenance.
Then, went back home to drop some things and proceed to
Makati Medical Center for another round of check-up after finishing my antibiotics. Already had the chest x-ray last Thursday where my niece accompanied me. So picked-up the result and proceeded to
Maxicare to give the result to Dr. Nina.
Result: There is partial clearing of the right lower lobe infiltrates. The rest of the lungs are clear. The hila and pulmonary vessels are within normal limits.
Was given another set of medicines. One to stop coughing if there is no more phlegm. The other is for my throat that has come itchy. Will do another chest x-ray after six weeks.
Was dropped-off at
Glorietta for I would be attending the anticipated Mass.
Had Mongolian bowl lunch at
Food Choices, bought wet wipes at
Daiso Japan, medicines at
Mercury Drug. Since Lily who is sick (liver cyst) might be going home to Bicol, will give her the
non-stick pan I recently bought since she should not be eating (or minimal) fat. Decided to buy one for the house while it is still at 20% off. Bought a bigger pan at
The Landmark. The problem now is who would be taking care of Nana. (sad)
Attended the anticipated Mass, dinner at
Luk Yuen and groceries at The Landmark.
Another Check-Up
As instructed, went back to
Maxicare at
Makati Medical Center so that Dr. Nina can check me up.
Will have to continue the meds but I can already report for work on Monday. But, will have to have an x-ray after I finish the antibiotics. I still have to rest. Will just have to listen to the Mass tomorrow on TV (Healing Eucharist).
Next stop is at
SM North EDSA to pick-up the tablet I have repaired. Will use it also as an IP camera monitor.
Then, went to
Mercury Drug at
Glorietta to buy medicines.
National Bookstore to buy the
paper shredder. And to
The Landmark for lunch at the food court and buy groceries. Then proceeded home to rest. c",)
Check-Up
As instructed, after finishing the antibiotic which I took for seven (7) days, have to go back for a check-up and see if I am cleared to go to work.
So went to
Maxicare at
Makati Medical Center. As checked, Dr. Beverly gave additional antibiotic (Zithromax) to be taken once a day plus continue with the original antibiotic (Zinnet) and was instructed to rest again and have me checked-up again on Saturday. Was not cleared to go to work lest I infect others.
No
pasyal-pasyal. But, surely?! Before proceeding home, went first to
Glorietta to buy digital thermometer at
Mercury Drug, bought
portable shredder at
National Bookstore, pretzels at
Auntie Anne's.
And I thought all is normal, around 7PM, there's a fire near our house. Good thing, it is not directly in front of the gas station.
Chest X-Ray And Stool Analysis
Took the results and brought it back to Dr. Nina.
She said to continue with the ones provided by Dr. Beverly.
My x-ray result: Pneumonia, right lower lobe.
My stool result: 18-20/HPF Pus Cells
When I asked if I can already go to the office, she wanted me to finish the antibiotic and go back again to be checked.
Reassessment
Headache still persists and my stool is watery. Will antibiotics cure headache, too?
Decided to go back to Makati Medical Center. Dr. Beverly is not available; thus, it is Dr. Nina who took over.
She asked me to have a chest x-ray and stool analysis. Will be back for the result.
She also gave me medicine to help in my cough (Pecof), solidify my stool (Erceflora). Both to be taken three times a day. For my headache, she gave Ketesse.
While waiting so I can have a stool sample, saw Sam. Hehehe!
CBC Result
Went back to
Makati Medical Center to get and show the CBC result.
No dengue as there is no effect on my platelet count.
Dr. Beverly gave me an antibitiotic (Zinnat) good for 7 days to be taken every 12 hours. She said if on the third day I feel something different and has not improved, I can come back to have a re-assessment.
