The Landmark -- gifts for my nephew, inaanak plus Instax wide film
Glorietta 4 Park -- a photo with my Instax 210
Glorietta 4 Cinemas -- The Good Dinosaur movie (ticket bought at a discount)
Of course, did not bring all my purchases in tow. Left them in the package counter of The Landmark and will pick them up when I go home.
The movie runs on the premise that what if the meteor which destroyed the dinosaurs did not hit Earth, what will happen? The dinosaurs would evolve and learn. An incident happened that Arlo, an apatosaurus, would develop an unlikely bond with a human boy as Arlo tries to go back home. Very nice visuals. Touching, too, when the boy and Arlo has to part ways.
Just when I bought new films for my Instax 210, the camera conked out (the instant film won't eject). Sad.
Ayala Triangle Gardens' Christmas Lights and Sound Show 2015
Because of the slight pain in my back, no fast-paced walking this time. Would have to have time to "heal". LOL
Brought my new Canon PowerShot N2 for a test run. Took several photos with selfies this time. Hehehe!
No plans of watching a movie. Will just tick-off some items in my to-do list.
Had a Mongolian bowl lunch at Food Choices, bought items at Mercury Drug, dessert at Vanilla Cupcake Bakery, Brothers M Tape and Didache for 2016 as Christmas gifts at National Bookstore, passed by Iconic for the promised box for my socks (weh!). Had my receipts exchanged for raffle tickets--just in case I win a BMW. Talked to the girl in-charge for the raffle. Even had a selfie with her. Haha! She was curious what camera I bought.
Since my "angel" accidentally broke the angel topper in my Christmas tree being set up at home, looked for a replacement. Found one at The Landmark. But also went to Kultura. Liked the one at Kultura although it is more expensive. Anyway, it looked like the one that was broken.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Luk Yuen.
Since Edgar, the driver, mentioned he wanted to bring his sons to the Lights and Sound show at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, I told him to bring them when he picks me up at the mall, park the car and we would walk our way to the Gardens. Marysan also sent a Viber message earlier and asked if she could join. Hehehe! I said she could and to bring my reliable Canon G10.
After the show, passed by Greenbelt Park for some photo-ops and treat them for dinner at McDonald's in Glorietta before proceeding home.
Would try something new for lunch, so went to Cafe Mediterranean. Tried their shawrbat addas majroosh for soup and Gyros grilled beef. While having lunch, a woman is making a scene against another woman eating at Reyes Barbecue. Learned that this woman is asking for food from the woman eating and wasn't given any. That's when she flared up. And they do not know each other! Duh?!
Have no plans of watching a movie, so just walked to meet my daily target. Was able to buy a photo journal at Typo... for me! Hehehe! Bought a lens protector filter at Infomax. Bought again additional Christmas gifts at It's Personal!
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Chili's. We are finally complete so I would be able to treat them for the birthday dinner. Weh!
Still a holiday because of APEC 2015. Already scheduled for my 10AM treatment. As soon as the mall opened, went to KARADA.
Already bought a ticket for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. Ate lunch at Bistro Ravioli after my treatment. Since I still have time for my movie, ticked-off items in my Christmas list by going to It's Personal! Then, bought the Fuji lens on sale (XF18-135mm) at Henry's Professional. Just window-shopped for my steps.
Now the face of the revolution, Katniss prepares for the final confrontation with President Snow. Moves and countermoves... not only with President Snow but also with President Coin. Like other movies, major characters have to die.
A holiday and a good excuse to visit the new mall redeveloped by Ayala Land and where the Sta. Ana Race Track used to be--Circuit Mall Makati.
Was originally intending to bring my scooter with me and my trusty Instax. But since it rained, it will just be selfie images, instead, with Marysan. Since Kuya will be using the driver, we were just dropped off at the mall.
There are only a few shops open, seven to be exact.
We also had our lunch at Palm Corned Beef Corner.
According to the server, the mall will truly be opened by December this year. The restaurant where we ate is on soft opening.
To go back home, took a GrabTaxi (GrabCar, actually).
Just dropped my things and plan to go to Glorietta. My niece wanted to join. In time, too, as my Kuya has arrived. We will be dropped off at Glorietta.
Since my niece has not yet taken her lunch, ate at Pancake House. The First Lady of Malaysia is at Glorietta that time. Was curious how they tried to "secure" her. Then, we went to Toby's Sports where I bought the back support (to remove the item in my list). My niece wanted two 4 pounds dumbbells so included it in my purchases.
Just wanted to meet my daily step goal, so walked our way to Greenbelt to check the Apple Watch. I have no intention of buying.. just curious. Was able to buy a gift for my inaanak--to tick-off from my list. It was actually my niece who was able to buy items for her Christmas gifts.
Then we walked our way back to Glorietta. Had dessert at Vanilla Cupcake Bakery, bought printer ink/s at CompLink and dinner at Italianni's before proceeding home. We asked the driver to pick us up as it is hard to take a ride with the APEC 2015.
Paced 12:29min/km for my 1.39km walk. Should aim for 12min/km pace.
When I checked online, movies being shown at Glorietta 4 Cinemas are Cinema One Originals. So, did not check what is actually shown in the theater. Should have known.
Claimed my free meal of Sicilian Chicken Salad from BPI Amore at Italianni's. Added an order of Four Cheese Penne.
Decided to look for gifts. Went to It's Personal! Originally thought of giving throw pillows; but, it seems it won't work for boys/men. Decided with a personalized tumbler (gave mousepad last year) plus a coaster.
Many stores are on sale. Tempting to buy more gifts. But somehow, not in the mood. So, walked and walked.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Pancake House. Was picked-up by the driver. Stopped first at Pet Express for Tsubasa's dog food before proceeding home.
Already have a schedule for my treatment. As soon as the mall opened, went to KARADA for my treatment.
Then, had lunch at Bistro Ravioli with my usual order plus warm water. Bought a movie ticket online for Spectre via mPass.
James Bond sets out to fulfill the last message of the previous M--even going rogue--just when the relevance of MI6 is being questioned. Just like any James Bond movies, there's women, fast cars and action. Just sit and enjoy.
After the movie, bought a bilao of pancit luglug from Razon's and one bucket of Jollibee Chickenjoy for our meryenda at home.
14:45min/km for a 1.14 km walk. I'm getting slow... Uh-oh!
Was planning to claim my free meal from BPI Amore at Italianni's. Unfortunately, the restaurant is full and I hungry. So, went to Dulcinea instead. Included churros, their specialty, in my order.
Since Edgar, the driver, asked me to buy a Samsung Galaxy J2 for him, canvassed. Usually, Samsung phones have fixed price in any store. Was able to get a discount of PhP180.00 from my suki. A discount is a discount, right? c",)
And since my office shoes needs replacing (has many scuff marks on it), went to Via Venetto. I wanted to buy the same style but my size is not available. Bought another style instead. And it's worth it. c",)
Also looked for gifts for Christmas.
Attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at Luk Yuen.
Woke up really early as we would be going to Manila Memorial Park to visit the grave of my aunt (my Nanay's sister) and uncle. I'll have Edgar (driver) and Lyn with me. Used to bring Nana with me so she can also visit but because of the accident, she won't be able to. Left the house around 4AM.
Stopped by McDonald's, Kabihasnan branch, for our very early breakfast. Also bought to-go for the house and Jessie, who would be staying at Sgt. Mariano Cemetery for the day.
Then proceeded to Sgt. Mariano Cemetery where my Nanay and Tatay is buried. Was waiting for Jessie to arrive but it is getting late. Left the flower to Mang Tyoping so he can give it to Jessie when he arrives. Also gave Mang Tyoping the breakfast.
Slept as soon as I arrived home. Woke again around 11AM for lunch.
Left again for the cemetery around 2PM with my niece, nephew and his wife, Ate Baby and Marysan. Also have Luis, son of Edgar. Aside from visiting my Nanay, Tatay,Lola Clara, Lolo Gorio, Uncle Popo, Uncle Eli and Uncle Nes, visited the parents of my Tatay. I have asked Mang Tyoping to clean their grave every year.
For pagpag, we went to Pancake House at Magallanes for meryenda.
