Onward
A tenant asked that we talk today. Appointment is at 10AM. Was at our Washington apartment on the dot. Have to wait for more than 30 minutes for the tenant to arrive. Anyway, things were ironed out and I left.
Passed by
StorageMart to store some items. Went to
Pet Express along South Superhighway to see if the Vitakraft dog treat is available. Nope. Went to
Petron to fill-up my Avanza to avail of the PhP2.00 off per liter. Then, went to Pet Express at
SM Mall of Asia where I was able to buy the dog treat. Yes!
Was then dropped-off at
Glorietta wearing my mask, safety goggles and air purifier/negative ion generator.
Bought discounted movie ticket for
Onward. Oddly, the movie is not listed in the
Sureseats website and supposedly it will be shown next week. Lucky me, will watch it!
Had a quick lunch at
Wendy's before my movie.
There used to be magic but things changed. Two teenage brothers embark on an extraordinary quest "onward" to discover if there is still magic left. Love the movie! Shed a tear in one of the scenes. The problem with the COVID-19 scare, cannot wipe it off immediately as I have to ensure my hands are clean. Weh! Have to blink a lot of times through my safety goggles.
Had my milk tea fix at
Tiger Sugar; then, attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in
The Landmark. Had
farmery supper at
Food Choices. Bought groceries at
The Landmark Supermarket. Then, proceeded home.
People Power Anniversary
Every year on this day, I wear my Ninoy Aquino t-shirt. I was not able to save said shirt when our house was gutted by fire. Thus, have to make do with a yellow ribbon tied to my Pacsafe knapsack. Also, will be using my
AirTamer personal purifier which arrived this week.
Would do a movie marathon. Bought discounted movie tickets for
Brahms: The Boy II and
The Call of the Wild.
Had lunch at
The Landmark Food Center. Milk tea fix at
The Alley who has a free upgrade promo for their opening.
A family moves into the guest house of Heelshire Mansion, a way for them to move on after the mother has been attacked in their house in the city witnessed by her son. Then, the son who stopped talking befriended a life-like doll called Brahms. And Brahms has rules. Not scary--just OK.
In between movies, window-shopped. Was able to pass by
Ace Hardware where they have a small stand for UV Care. The pocket UV-C steriliser is no longer available.
Based on the book of the same title, "The Call of the Wild" is about the story of Buck whose blissful domestic life has turned upside down when he was dognapped and brought to Yukon during the gold rush. He experience an adventure of a lifetime until he becomes his own master.
Since my niece is also at Glorietta, we had our dinner first at Kaya, before proceeding home.
Little Women
Walked my way to
Glorietta via
Dela Rosa Elevated Walkway. Plan to watch a movie, thus, will not be stopping at Tito Pak's for lunch.
Bought discounted movie ticket for
Little Women. I'll be having a late lunch as the movie is about to start.
Based on the novel of Louisa May Alcott, we follow the lives of the March sisters. Loved the book. Loved the movie. Whether it is the book or the movie, I am still for Team Jo-Laurie. Hehehe!
Had my late lunch at
Wendy's and milk tea fix at
The Alley who is having a free upgrade promo. Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in
The Landmark.
We had dinner at
Chili's Grill & Bar as a birthday treat. Burp!
Bought groceries at
The Landmark Supermarket before proceeding home.
ionBox
Walked my way to Glorietta with face mask and ionBox.
Since I lent my
ionFan to my officemate who will be bringing her baby to the hospital for treatment, brought my
ionBox plugged to my power bank. I bought these negative ion generator even before the news of SARS COV 2 (nCoV or COVID-19, Corona Virus Disease 2019). Actually bought them against EMF. Didn't know I can use it for the coronavirus as the negative ions attach to pathogens making them heavy and fall, out of your breathing space.
Stopped at
Tito Pak's for lunch. As usual, passed by
Mercury Drug--still no surgical face mask.
Was thinking of buying another sunglasses which I can use with my mask (hehehe!). Actually, I love my only
Owndays sunglasses that I don't want it to be damaged by spraying alcohol on it as my "ritual" against the coronavirus. So bought another sunglasses... at Owndays. Had it tested ensuring that it blocks 100% UV--it does. I requested they also test my reading glass. It is 100% UV and 30% blue.
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel in
The Landmark. Had
Peppy Olive supper at
Food Choices. Bought groceries at
The Landmark Supermarket. Passed by
Storage Mart, gassed-up my HR-V for the discount per liter, before proceeding home.
Parasite
Went to
StorageMart to put some items in storage--to lessen the "junk" in the condo. Hehehe!
Then, went to
Petron to gas-up my Avanza. Every weekend, it is PhP2.00 off per liter. Every little savings help.
Proceeded to our corporation's parking lot. Would sterilize Edgar's house. Been "playing" with my
UV Care Portable Germinator ever since I have received it. My first attempt at using is at my bathroom. You can "smell" the difference. Hehehe!
Finally, was dropped off at
Glorietta. Immediately proceeded to
Glorietta 4 Cinemas. Decided to watch
Parasite. Had lunch at
Wendy's before my movie.
Ki-taek's family are all unemployed. Then, they met a rich and glamorous Parks family where they wiggled their way in. Then, an unexpected incident happened. Like!
Because of the 2019-nCoV scare, while watching the movie, I turned my
ionFan on so that it generates negative ions (I am wearing face mask).
Then, went to
Mercury Drug (still no face masks),
True Value (bought rechargeable batteries),
Ace Hardware (saw that there is a
UV Care stall there),
National Bookstore (looked for decal but decided against buying),
Japan Home Center (to buy a case for my
Autobot air purifier),
BPI.
Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel, had supper at
Food Choices in farmery, bought groceries at
The Landmark Supermarket before proceeding home.
Hua Mulan
Received an SMS yesterday to advise me that the comb I had repaired at
Hua Mulan is already available. I requested Edgar the driver to bring met to
SM Megamall.
As soon as the mall opened, went to Hua Mulan. Since I was already there, bought items I missed to buy yesterday and items from stores not available at Glorietta. Fish oil at
Healthy Options (have to be healthy to "beat" the coronavirus), scapular at
St. Paul's (my scapular broke, will have my new one blessed next Saturday), eye mask at
Miniso (this is the eye mask I have been looking for which is no longer available in their other branches).
And when in Megamall, lunch at
El Pollo Loco.
Also went to
Pet Express hoping to buy one of the treats my Tsubasa (and Theo) likes. Not available.
Then, proceeded home.
Dolittle
Have an appointment with my dentist. After, was advised not to take coffee and tea for two weeks.
Decided to walk to
Glorietta. Because of the novel coronavirus scare (2019-nCoV), has been reading up and viewing (in YouTube) about it. It says the sun can kill the virus. Already will be meeting my step goal while killing those viruses. On the way, stopping at drug stores hoping to buy face masks. Not available.
Since I am early, have time to watch a movie. Bought discounted movie ticket for
Dolittle.
The character of Dr. Dolittle is a physician who can talk to animals. Luv it!
Ate late lunch after the movie at
Food Choices. Window-shopped hoping to be able face masks. Bought gift certificate at
Rustan's as a wedding gift. Attended the anticipated Mass at
Mary Mother of Hope Chapel. It is Candlemas. Good thing was able to buy a candle to have it blessed. Supper at Food Choices again. Bought groceries at
The Landmark Supermarket (making sure to buy alcohol) before proceeding home.
