Schedule to buy our groceries at The Landmark supermarket. Was early as my "angel" would be leaving for her day-off around 3PM. She'll be back the following day.
After the groceries, went to its department store to buy a necklace for the pardon crucifix pendants for my two nieces and their mom.
Went to Glorietta hoping that the Caritas Manila stall is open so I can buy their knotted rosary. Nope. Went to Silverworks and UniSilver hoping to have my pardon crucifix necklace cleaned. Cleaning service at Silverworks is temporarily on hold for health purposes. UniSilver only cleans jewelries bought at their store. But I was able to buy a cleaning fluid there: dip the jewelry for 1 minute in the solution then clean it with Joy dishwashing fluid or toothpaste.
Dropped the groceries at the condo and proceeded to SM Mall of Asia. Went to St. Paul's where I was able to buy books: Prayers for Eucharistic visit; Miracle Hour; A Catholic Perpsective on The Purpose Driven Life; and, the Holy Bible. I was also able to buy a bell at the National Bookstore.
Because of the #COVID19 pandemic, local government units mandated that cemeteries be closed between October 29, 2021 to November 2, 2021 to avoid the spread of the disease as people tend to flock there between those dates.
Thus the weekend before the planned closure, already visited our departed, prayed for their souls and blessed them with (exorcised) holy water.
Last year, was not able to visit our dead at Manila Memorial Park as we still do not know the process being followed due to the pandemic. But today, fingers-crossed, we will be able to get in and visit them. Left the condo around 5AM (our usual schedule).
The Park is open at 7AM (which is not the case pre-pandemic) but since our visit will be quick, they allowed us in.
Next stop is Sgt. Mariano Cemetery where my Nanay, Tatay, Lolo, Lola, uncles, etc. is laid to rest. It is a stark contrast from Manila Memorial Park. We have to clean a bit of the garbage. The grill on top where we planned to have the plants' vines crawl to provide shade is broken--as if someone attempted to enter. Made a temporary, quick fix on it.
And finally, dropped by McDonald's for breakfast to-go.
Went onsite to work as I have to use a system not accessible by working from home. It is also a good excuse to go to the clinic to have my hand checked (which I suspect to be De Quervain's tenosynovitis).
The doctor I liked is the one manning our office clinic today. And yes, I am right, it is De Quervain's tenosynovitis. She suggested the splint, which I showed her what I am wearing. She also said that steroid can be injected. Since I reacted, she gave me the medicine instead.
Arcoxia Ac (Etoricoxib) 120mg to be taken after breakfast
Mepresone (Methylprednisolone) 16mg to be taken after breakfast and dinner
Then, I received a call that I have delivery at home (someone would be receiving it for me). It is the Benedictine crucifix with exorcism oil which I won from Bro. Wendell Talibong's YouTube channel. Yes!
On October 10, 2021, Pope Francis announced a two year project for the Catholic Church called "For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission". It will run from 2021 to 2023.
In the Garabandal prophecy, a Synod will precede The Warning. Guesses as to when The Warning will take place is April 2024 or April 2030.
Time for my every other weekend grocery shopping. Left the condo around 9AM. Everything is a breeze. There is still not much people even if the quarantine alert was lowered to 3. In any case, whatever alert it is, I will still remain vigilant.
After the groceries, time to go through my list.
1) Splint. I was only supposed to buy the wrist support, which I am familiar with. Then, I saw the wrist/ thumb support of LP support at The Landmark. Wore it immediately after paying for it.
2) Euthyrox 50mcg for my thyroid at Mercury Drug.
3) Clay at The Landmark which I intend to use as support for the candle I would lighting at the cemetery. My parents' tomb is a bit pointed and I want the candle to be level.
4) Case at Beabi in Glorietta which I plan to use as container for the exorcised salt.
5) Carrot juice at Healthy Options.
6) Ice cream bar at Tiger Sugar.
7) Dog treats at Pet Express.
And... used my newly purchased SJCOM C200. Here's the first video I took from it:
Had the camera clipped in my bag's strap; thus, forced to have it set horizontally. Have to rotate the video clips when I edit to merge them.
A wonderful birthday gift. Won a Benedictine Cross (it will be shipped to me after it has been blessed) from the YouTube Channel I have been subscribed to and been watching the livestream.
While you are at it, subscribe also to Punto por Punto YouTube Channel. I listen to their livestream 8PM daily. They have a sacramental blessing every Thursday and Saturday.
The last time I went to the office, tried to see the doctor at our clinic but he/ she was on emergency leave then and there is no replacement. I usually consult with our company doctor first before I go to a hospital and seek further treatment/ consultation--what with the #COVID19 lurking in the background.
So, searched the internet and found this very useful.
I have the regular splint but find it painful. So, tried the straw splint, as recommended. Have to make do what is available in the house... including using scotch tape instead. LOL
Thank You, Lord, for another year has passed that He continuously shower me (and my family) with blessings and grace in spite of the #COVID19 pandemic.
I was not able to do so last year; but, plan to do it now even if the churches or chapels are closed. The Holy Sacrament resides in its midst.
Went to Greenbelt Chapel. As expected, it is closed. Sat within its periphery. This is the highlight of my day!
Walked to The Landmark where my car is parked.
With Edgar, the driver, proceeded to SM Mall of Asia to buy food. Usually, I buy my birthday food at the Emerald Garden Restaurant. Because of the pandemic, it has to close down. (sad)
Went first to St. Paul's to buy bottle/s where I plan to put in the exorcised holy oil and give them away as my gift.
Passed by Uniqlo to buy a pink blouse in support for Leni Robredo as President for the coming election. Plan to wear it when I vote. There is none. Bought a blue one, instead, which is on sale. LOL
And, finally, arrived at Super Bowl of China where I will buy food-to-go. This is where it really took me some time. Have received my order way past noon already.
There were brave souls dining out (and I am not one of them). I think they are also celebrating their birthdays because I hear them ordering Birthday Noodles... 😊
Scheduled to take my rapid antigen test. Thank You, Lord! Negative. 🙏
Since I am already near our office, worked onsite (instead of working from home).
Today, supposedly, is when Leni Robredo would announce if she would be running for the Presidency. Praying that she would. I have already decided to contribute to her campaign funds. #InvestInLeni #LetLeniLead
Given the people who have already stated their intention to run for the highest position in the land, the country would be miserable. Could it be our punishment...?
Every 8PM, they have the Worldwide Catholic Bible Study. On Thursdays and Saturdays, the priest blesses the sacramentals online.

Here is the sacramental blessing of Fr. Gilbert at Punto por Punto YouTube channel yesterday, October 2:
