Check-up For My Rashes
This time, it is the annual rustproofing and rebuffing of my Toyota Avanza. It is already scheduled for servicing at Ziebart. The car has been dropped-off already by Edgar, the driver. Went there to pay for the services so Edgar can pick it up anytime on Monday.
Did the groceries at The Landmark supermarket, bought cake at Mary Grace in Food Choices at Glorietta 4, bought cookies at Mo' Cookies.
Since I already have an appointment with my dermatologist (she asked me to return after two weeks to check on the progress of my rashes, which disappeared after putting the medicine twice!), was dropped-off at Makati Medical Center while Edgar brings home my purchases. Informed my doctor that the rashes disappeared after putting the ointment the second time! 😄
Walked to Ayala North Exchange to go to Watsons and Saladstop!, where Edgar picked me up to go home.
Free Lunch
There's a reorganization in the office. Our new boss will treat us for a lunch at 8 Cuts Burger Blends, walking distance from our office.
After Office Shopping
Our office is now into three days onsite, two days work from home. Since I am onsite today, decided to pass by the mall after office.
Was dropped-off at Pet Express in SM Makati to schedule Theo, my niece's dog, for grooming. Then, walked to Glorietta for Mo' Cookies at Food Choices in Glorietta 4.
Was already heading for home when received a message from my niece asking me to buy medicines for her (my other niece's dog bit her), so we returned to Glorietta. Since my feet is aching, decided to buy sandals at Dr. Kong. Will leave it in the car so I can use it when I go to the mall after office. Then, went to Mercury Drug in Glorietta 3 to buy the medicines.
Preventive Maintenance
My Toyota Avanza is scheduled for its preventive maintenance. Already made an appointment. Went to Toyota Manila Bay for it. Since tomorrow it is Father's Day, they have lots of freebies, which includes snacks, free haircut for fathers, etc. Edgar, the driver, would have taken the haircut but there were lots in queue.
Since I am already out, because of this pandemic, once I am already out, that's when I do some shopping/ window shopping. Unlike before when I do so when I just feel like it. Besides, will buy a cake a s birthday gift for my aunt. Edgar would bring the gift over.
Decided to go to Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Luv their automated parking pay station. LOL
Then, SM Mall of Asia where I bought some items at Uniqlo and was able to buy the cake at Butternut Bakery.
Unfortunately, the screen protector of my mini iPad broke, passed by Cash & Carry to have it replaced before proceeding home.
Bone Densitometry Scan
Took a leave because I am scheduled to take a bone densitometry scan, as requested by my rheumatologist to test for osteoporosis. This would be my first time to take this test. Will be doing it at Makati Medical Center. It is a breeze. Result will be on Tuesday.
After, went to Pet Express in SM Makati to schedule my niece's dog for grooming. Then, went to Uniqlo to buy a pair of jogging pants. Proceeded to Salad Stop at Glorietta for salad-to-go. Passed by But First, Coffee to buy coffee before proceeding home.
Preventive Maintenance, Groceries and Dermatologist
Was able to make an appointment for my Honda HR-V's preventive maintenance and for a dermatologist recommended by my HMO.
The car appointment is at 9AM. Edgar, the driver, already brought it at Honda Makati very early. He would just pick me up to go there and pay for the services. My service advisor called to explain the things that will be done for my car. Gave my "nod". Now, I don't have to hurry to meet the 9AM appointment as my car is already being serviced.
Next is at The Landmark supermarket for my groceries.
After doing the groceries, went around for a few to tick off some items.
- Ballpen and long plastic envelope at Office Warehouse in The Landmark
- Sandals on sale at Dr. Kong. I also have my feet tested. My left foot is normal but my right foot is medium flat-footed.
Then, I was dropped-off at
Makati Medical Center. I was advised to be there between 1PM-2PM. Showed my dermatologist my hand, explaining the "history" of the rashes and the medications I have taken.
- Medicine for the rashes (2% SSA +Clobestasol + Miconazole ointment) to put lightly on the affected area twice a day. This to be done for seven (7) days.
- Still use the Aveeno Skin Relief lotion after washing hands. The lotion can be used in other parts of the body, not just my hands.
- She suggested to use petroleum jelly on my hands at night, put on the ointment, then wear plastic gloves.
Will be back after two weeks.
Then, walked to Ayala North Exchange to buy the petroleum jelly at Watsons and salad at Salad Stop! This is where Edgar, the driver, picked me up to proceed home.
New Medicine For My Hand Rashes
Was onsite.
Went to the clinic to get LOA for the bone density scan and for a dermatologist. Since there is a doctor available, showed her the rashes in my right hand which started February this year. The Desowen Cream and Cetaphil lotion seems not to work. The doctor gave another medicine to treat my rashes for seven (7) days.
- ELICA cream to be applied thinly three times a day
- Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion to be applied every time I wash my hands
So after office, went to
Ayala Center to buy them.
Mercury Drug at
The Landmark for the ELCA cream and The Landmark's department store for the Aveeno lotion. I am
hiyang with Aveeno.
Then went to Pet Express to schedule Theo for grooming, Mos' for palm-sized cookies to go, before proceeding home.
Doctors
Took a leave for my doctors' appointment.
Before 6AM, I am already at my endocrinologist. She said the result of my lab tests are good. No changes in my medication. Will meet again after six months.
Then went to my rheumatologist. It is on a first come, first serve basis but must have an appointment specific day to manage the number of patients. Since I am quite early, I am the first in the queue. My Vitamin D is a-OK. He asked me to have a bone density scan. Will be back after the test. Will also buy the food supplement he suggested--and buy it at Healthy Options.
My gastroenterologist recommended an OB-Gyne. Good thing it is also on a first come, first serve basis and she kindly accommodated me. Will be back after six months after the I have the test she requested.
So after all my medical check-up, went to Healthy Options in Glorietta to buy the medicine. Then went to Pet Express because I wanted to buy him a Nina Ottosson Wobble Bowl. Was able to buy one.
Passed by Food Choices to buy Mos' cookies.
Then, proceeded home.
