Solo
Woke up early and would be going to
SM Arena for our company's Sportsfest kick-off. Thought everything is smooth since it was a breeze to go through the turnstiles with the ticket for us to get our shirt, food and entrance. This is the worst yet. There's a very long queue for the shirt. The programme has started with people still queueing either for the shirt or for the food; thus, there are a few people inside the arena. After I got the shirt, got in to watch the proceedings. Stepped out to get the food. Decided to leave when at 10AM, I still have not got the food.
So, walked to
SM Mall of Asia to go to
St. Paul's and check what religious books I can purchase. Then, took a taxi to go to my favorite hang-out--
Glorietta.
First stop is to buy a discounted movie ticket for
Solo: A Star Wars Story. Next, Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices. Dessert at
Baskin Robbins. Bought 3w LED lights at
True Value.
"Solo: A Star Wars Story" is the adventure of Han Solo and Chewbacca, including meeting Lando Calrissian. It is about the young Han Solo, before he became one of the heroes of the rebellion against the empire. Fast paced, fun. Like.
Then, attended the anticipated Mass and had dinner at
Phobac. Bought groceries at
The Landmark, passed by Pet Express before proceeding home.
Hyperplastic (Dead)pool
It's been sometime when I finished my endoscopy/ colonoscopy. I still have to go to my gastroenterologist to get the result of the polyp obtained from the procedure. Thus, took a half-day off to go to my doctor.
"Final Diagnosis:
Colonoscopy with polypectomy: Hyperplastic polyp"
Hyperplastic colon polyps are generally benign, or non-cancerous, growths of the lining of the large intestine.
Will have tests again on August.
Took a jeepney ride to
Glorietta. Bought discounted movie ticket for
Deadpool 2.
Mutant mercenary Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool forms a group of mutants to protect a young boy with supernatural abilities from a time-traveling mutant, Cable. The usual Deadpool movie, R rated jokes and actions.
Relax
Had lunch at
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf of Eggs Ben. Would go to
Makati Medical Center to make an appointment for my gastroenterologist. When I got there, the clinic is closed. Great!
So, walked to Ayala Center. No plan of watching a movie; thus, window-shopped/ shopped.
Bought walnuts at
Rustan's, ate vegetable and fruit salad at
Food Choices, looked for Google Home to check the mall price (buying it at Lazada is way cheaper). I was having fun using my new Google Home mini--it can play Bible readings, music (via Spotify), internet radio, etc. even games.
Attended the anticipated Mass and bought groceries at
The Landmark before proceeding home.
Barangay and SK Election
As soon as I woke, learned that Manong is already there. He plans to join me when I vote (will assist him looking for his precinct).
Walked our way to P. Burgos Elementary School. Helped look for Manong's precinct so he can vote and went back to my precinct. Was first to finish than Manong. Also looked for Paolo and Sintaro's precinct and advised them so that they can already proceed directly to their precinct.
Tagging Manong along, went to Ayala Center. Was there earlier than the opening of the mall, we went to Mercury Drug. I bought Genteal drops. Somehow, we had a chit-chat with senior citizens there who are also waiting for the mall to open. Hehehe!
Went to
Shakey's to claim my free large pizza. We also had our brunch there. After, went to
Shoemart but was not able to find the item I wish to buy. Went to
The Landmark to buy again rechargeable batteries at 10% off.
Took a taxi to go home.
AP/BT
Have a 10AM appointment at
Karada Philippines for my Atlas & Pelvis Balance/ Body Treatment. As soon as the mall opened, went to Karada.
For lunch, went to
Bistro Ravioli for my usual spinach and feta cheese ravioli and warm water (I should be taking only warm water for at least four hours after the treatment).
Since I cleaned a small corner of our sala, bought a frame, flashlight and battery at
The Landmark at 10% off. The small corner has my Tatay, Nana, Lily's pictures. Placed a picture of Our Lady of Fatima (which I will frame), sleeping St. Joseph, crucifix with Benedictine medal, lantern, rose cloth. The flashlight will also be there--something we can use in case of emergency.
Our
merienda of Yellow Cab will be delivered around 3PM which I already ordered online the night before.
Ouch!
Walked my way to
Ayala Center. Using my newly bought
MBT sandals, got a blister. Good thing, there's a
Mercury Drug along the Dela Rosa elevated walkway. Stopped there and bought band-aid. Thanks for small blessing! c",)
Will not watch a movie.
Went to
Shakey's thinking of claiming the promo from Lazada. Learned I can only claim it from Monday to Thursday. Will do it on Monday after I vote.
So, had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices. Then, ticked-off items in my list: adaptor (at
True Value), stapleless stapler (at
National Bookstore), wet wipes (at
Daiso Japan). Made reservation at
Karada Philippines for tomorrow and read the book I brought ("We Will Be Judged By Love" by Fr. Gabriele Amorth, SSP) at
Food Choices while waiting for the anticipated Mass.
Went to
The Landmark which is on sale. All items are marked 10% off (except for items marked with higher discount). Bought rechargeable batteries and insect trap.
Attended the anticipated Mass then we had dinner at
Phobac. Bought groceries at The Landmark before proceeding home.
Check-Up
Took a leave go to my OB Gyne for the result of my sonomammogram. Usually, it is first come first serve. Now, she requires appointment. Since it is the first time I knew, her secretary kindly squeezed me in.
Was already at
Makati Medical Center in the morning. Have myself listed for my OB Gyne. Also for my gastroenterologist for May 18 (she doesn't have clinic until then). Went to
BDO to load up on LoadXtreme. Early lunch at
Pancake House in Makati Medical Center. Then, waited at my OB Gyne's clinic.
My next lab test would be on August.
Then, walked my way to
Ayala Center. Bought discounted movie ticket for
Higher Power. While waiting for the start of the movie, bought items in my shopping list--water filter, Anker cable, knee high.
Back to my movie. Joseph Steadman finds himself an unwilling test subject just because his DNA matched. He is to be transfigured (designed as a god) to save the world. Zzzzzz.....
Dog Treat
The dog treat my dog Tsubasa likes (even my niece's dog Theo) is out of stock at
Pet Express along South Super Highway. Decided to go first to Pet Express at
SM Mall of Asia in case Vitakraft is available (after going to the office for a few minutes). Nah!
Had lunch first there at
Reyes Barbecue, bought books at
St. Paul's before I was dropped off at
Glorietta. Strolled and was able to buy some knickknack--electronic foot file, laptop stand, timer, bookmark, stapleless stapler.
Attended the anticipated Mass and we had dinner at
Luk Yuen. Bought groceries at
The Landmark's supermarket before proceeding home.
Avengers: Infinity War
Labor Day, a holiday. Will watch the
Avengers: Infinity War.
But first, since I have an extra Sricam IP camera, decided to install it also at home (was trying to sell it to a friend but she is not interested).
Then, was dropped off at
Glorietta. Bought discounted ticket for my movie, had Mongolian lunch at
Food Choices,
Wendy's frost as dessert.
Back to my movie.
Thanos arrives on earth to collect the infinity stones so that he can bend reality to his will. He had a special gauntlet made to hold these stones. The Avengers must unite (with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Dr. Strange) to stop Thanos before he succeeds in ending the world. Like!!! It's just that why many has to disintegrate...? c",)
