Emergency Room
I think I already have fever yesterday. Also feel I have one when I woke up. My temperature is 37.6C.
Decided to Makati Medical Center's emergency room. In the triage, I already told them I suspected UTI. They took my temperature. It is 38.2C. Obviously, they brought me in the room (complete with hepa filter, etc.) for possible COVID-19 suspect because of the fever. I also have with me my personal air purifier/ plasma sterilizer, which I turned on since I entered the ER.
The following test were performed:
- Complete blood count (CBC)
- Creatinine
- Urinalysis
- SARS CoV 2 PCR
Result? UTI. Was discharged with medicine to be taken for seven (7) days.
Cefuroxime Axetil (Zegen) tablet 500mg, 1 tablet every 12 hours on full stomach for seven (7) days
Tramadol HCL/ paracetamol (Algesia) tablet 37.5mg/325mg, 1 tablet every eight (8) hours for pain
Should rest today and tomorrow.
Will not be going to the office until I get the RT-PCR result.
Wake
Was surprised and saddened to learn that an officemate died last Monday, July 25, 2022. He was brought to the emergency room but was dead on arrival. He died of heart attack.
Decided to go to his wake today at St. Peter's Memorial Chapels in Quezon Avenue.
Left the condo around 1PM, passed by the office to attach extension board where I can put my keyboard and mouse, then proceeded to the wake.
Stayed there for an hour, prayed a rosary for him.
Passed by the comfort room before leaving the place. That's when I saw blood in my urine!
Went first to Glorietta but I am not feeling well already. Bought supplements at Healthy Options, medicines at Mercury Drug, cookies at Mo' Cookies and milk tea at Tiger Sugar.
Then, proceeded home.
Groceries
Schedule for my bi-monthly groceries (the less time you are outside, lesser risk of catching the COVID-19 virus).
After buying groceries at The Landmark supermarket, went around Glorietta buying palm-sized cookies at Mo' Cookies and cake at Mary Grace. Since I wanted to buy dog treats (which is not available in Pet Express at SM Makati and at SM Hypermarket), decided to go their branch in SM Mall of Asia (MOA). There were lots of people near Pet Express of MOA because there is a volleyball event at SM Arena and cosplay event at SMX. Was able to buy some treats. Also bought milk tea at Tiger Sugar.
Then, proceeded home.
Delinquent Tenant
My schedule for my biweekly grocery shopping. But first, passed by the apartment we are letting out to talk to a tenant who has been past due with her rental payments. Agreed with the terms as I explained to her what was in the document. Will be back next Saturday to sign the payment schedule agreement and for her to give post-dated checks.
After the grocery at The Landmark supermarket, went to its department store to buy chopping boards. Wanted to see the Apple watch. Went to i-Switch at Glorietta 2 and Power Mac Center at Greenbelt 3. Was able to buy one at the former. Took some time to set it up.
Bought Genteel drops at Mercury Drug in Glorietta 3, cookies at Mo' Cookies in Food Choices at Glorietta 4, strawberry shortcake at Mary Grace (can't help but buy this when I saw it), before proceeding home.
Dog Appointment
After office, went to Pet Express at SM Makati to schedule Theo, my niece's dog, for grooming.
Since I am already there, bought cookies at Mo' Cookies, pill/ medicine container at Beabi and milk tea at Tiger Sugar.
Then, proceeded home.
Doctor Consultation
Took a leave since I have an appointment with my doctor (rheumatologist) to discuss the result of my bone densitometry scan, which shows I have osteopenia.
He recommended I take the prolia vaccine, which I would be taking every six months for 5 years. He also increased my intake for calcium citrate and vitamin D. One arrived, so I was able to take the vaccine. For the next schedule, would have to call ahead of time so they can order it before I proceed to his clinic.
Went to Glorietta to buy the supplements at Healthy Options, salad-to-go at SaladStop!, cookies at Mo' Cookies and milk tea at Serenitea.
